Malee I use to crochet way too tight. And it does take a lot of practice. I can't crochet anymore due to problems with my left thumb. Unknown Variable I learned how to crochet when I was about 12 years old. 3nodding
@Eclipsed soul: Thanks for the links, I read 'em through and and I think I'm going to talk to my OB about it more tomorrow. When I went in and the IVs and the meds all got started I just was so sick I was just so out of it!

Occasionally, when my mom breaks out the materials, I'll make at least something small. =)

Like I said I like to do the edging on the flannel blankets, I have crocheted 2 baby afgahns, and my mom taught me how to do these really cute "ringlet hats." I made some bookmarks, but I've decided that I don't like crocheting with thread as well as with yarn, though I actually prefer thread for the edging on the flannel blankets. I was going to crochet an afgahn for my father-in-law for Christmas, but I can't find a pattern I like (and I went through a bunch of my Mom's patterns).

I'd love to tell you, but after three years of not crocheting, I've practically forgotten all terms and definitions. I do believe I remember the simple strokes though. whee
... And now it's time for bed for me. Almost midnight, it's a school night, and I've got to read some before I sleep. Gnight all. Sleep well! heart
