Kaoru stared at her. Finally, the words weren't hurting him any more. And it was because he realized that he was getting close to something the girl didn't want uncovered. He wasn't absolutely certain what it was, though, do he merely hit on what he could catch.

"Kaggy, you're getting upset. People only get upset when someone is getting too close to an area they don't want them to be." Kaoru moved closer, his expression soft. "I know, there are many here because of their money... or because they think they are in love with someone here. But that is their right. It is also well known that once the become a part of this place, they are friends. For better or worse... and you know that as well, Kaggy, or you wouldn't keep coming here."

((I'm trying! But it isn't easy!))

Alcy nodded. "Right. You can't say there's no such things as friends here, Kaggy. We keep coming back, even long after everyone who came for 'false love' and 'money' stops, because we like being with each other, not because of that other stuff. That's what friendship is." She smiled.

She blinked a couple of times. "Did I just give a friendship speech? Ugh, what is this, a Shonen Jump manga?" she muttered, smacking herself in the forehead with disgust.

((We're doing good, I think we just need to keep pushing. biggrin YAY FOR SOME SORT OF STORYLINE))

Tamaki Suoh- King

PostPosted: Fri Oct 05, 2007 3:50 am

Tamaki hid behind the couch nearest the little battle of words. He didn't want to get into the middle of the fight, but thought it might be a little entertaining to watch. He wagged his entire body like a dog might, peeking just barely over the side of the large piece of furniture. He wanted to go and ask Haruhi what she thought, but didn't think it would be a very responsive type of thing. He tip-toed over behind her anyway, staring down in a curious, puppy-dog-looking manner. "You're not getting involved?" he inquired, blinking a few times. He turned to stare at Kyouya as well. "You, either?" Now that he thought was a little odd. The Shadow King, of all people, might want to interrupt a fight that could cause problems for hosts and customers alike.

Haruhi opened her mouth the first time when Kaggy had spoken to her, only to be inturupted by Kaoru before she could answer. The second time she tried to speak, Takami-sempai popped up and startled her. "I don't see why I should get involved, Tamaki-sempai. If they start trying to bring another of us into a personal battle of wills and words, then I'll see if Mori-sempai won't mind removing them so that they don't cause an upset."

She looked up at the blond, offering him a bare smile. "You can sit with me if you want, sempai." She looked on as Alcy added her voice to the chaos of it all. "Besides, I don't think its any of my business, and if someone can make Kaoru come out of the funk he's been in since he and Hikaru had that fight then more's the better."

Mizuki sat quietly her hazel eyes wandered wildly as Kaoru and some other girl began to argue across the room. Kaggy, she heard her name. The younger twin approached the girl, and talked softer, she could no longer heard their discussion.

'How strange... that's not very relaxing...' She stretched out her fingers and quickly retracted them, causing her knuckles to let out a crack. Her hands patted her back pants, wondering if there would be a time Kaoru would be alone. Maybe, when he was done with his discussion with that Kaggy girl, then she'd go to introduce herself to him. She'd think about it.

"I'm not upset. The only reason I come here is to be entertained. Nobody here is serious--as if you don't know what truly happens after school behind all this. Who would want to go back to their family and what happens there anyways? Friends only hurt you." Kaggy paused, realizing what she said. "I don't have duties, of course. How would I have any duties or understand what you guys...go through. It must be so hard." Kaggy added sarcastically, hoping to cover her early slip-up.

She turned to Alcy. "We like being here? Really? You, who chooses to hide every moral thought you have with a joke. Do not act so innocent. You are not."

((Yes! Kaggy managed to slip-up. Oh yeah, Alcy, I'm referring to role-playing half a year ago, where you made my old role-play character cry--well, she was depressed, so...))

Alcy didn't even blink. "Yes, we do. Not only because of the entertainment, but because we see each other and think to ourselves, 'Teehee, there's those awesome weird people I like to mess with!' And then we laugh at each other, go play a prank on Tamaki and laugh at him, then bake a cake for no reason with equipment of suspicious origin. It's because of that that we enjoy ourselves. And-" she continued calmly before Kaggy could interrupt with another unecessarily cruel comment, "I'll act however the hell I want to, Kaggy-nyan. If I don't want to take the world seriously, I won't. I'll tell you, it makes getting through the day a lot easier. Life's more fun." She let the room fall silent. She was still completley calm, a serene smile still on her face.

((Oh god, I forgot about that. Alcy's evolved so much XD. I feel really bad about that now.))

"And you think not taking the world seriously is easy? It's fun, sure, but how long can it last? How long do you think you'd last if you had to--" Kaggy stopped, realizing she had almost let her temper get ahead of her. She turned, hoping that both Kaoru and Alcy had not heard, or had misinterpreted, what she said.

((Slip-ups are getting easier--it'll be pretty easy now, Kaoru.))

Kaoru was beginning to put the pieces together. Granted, there were still some of them missing from the grand scheme of things, but he was beginning to put more together to get the main idea. "Kaggy, what happens when you go home that makes you believe that you are meant to suffer? If your home life is that bad, you can come stay in the Ouran Marriott. I'll pay for your room. This way, you can get some peace... and I'll help any way I can to get you away from whatever it is that's upsetting you. We're your friends, Kaggy, even if you don't want to see us as such. And as friends, we don't let our friends suffer."

Kaoru smiled softly then, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Besides, when a friend is in pain, we have to help them. Yet, we can't help if you aren't willing to talk to us. We aren't mind readers, Kaggy."

Watari listened, a smile on his lips. Oh, he liked this host club. It was obvious the boy was in some pain of his own, but he wanted to help his friend. It was a very sweet scene. The only thing that remained is if the other girl would allow the help. Sometimes, pride truly could mean the difference between peace and suffering.

Kyouya watched the ordeal, arms crossed. He could understand the thought of this Host club not providing friendships. For it was originally made for the benefits of each member--and still is. But now those benefits have developed into more of a friendship, something that they all needed. Pushing up his glasses and then adjusting his tie, Kyouya sighed. It was probably about time he interfered, but it would be best if they got out all this animosity before more customers started to show up.

Alcy's eyebrows shot up. Are? What was she just about to say? And... what's Kaoru talking about now? She frantically looked back and forth between the two, before slumping over slightly. Ugh, serious conversations are exhausting... this argument's been going on for long enough. I'll leave it up to the two who started it. Without a word, she shuffled away towards the small group of onlookers and collapsed limply in a chair. A couple seconds later, her soul escaped from her mouth with a small squeal of glee, flying around the room in circles.

((D: Dangit, I had an awesome post all ready, and then I preview the post, and you two posted while I was writing!))

Hunny ran through the halls of ouran running to the third music room. When hunny got there he opened the door and yelled "TAKA- Hunny looked around the room there was no insanely tall person there"ohh.."Hunny was now sad he looked down at his feet and huggled Usa-chan. "Where could Takashi be?" Hunny asked everywhere at the dojo and he also asked the creepy stalkers but no one knew!

MoriTakashi

Mori was in the garden, slacking off spending sometime to himself.
He sat at the bottom of a tree, looking up in the blue sky filled with clouds and thinking about practically nothing.

Hunny went over to the window and sat with his back againist the window and waited for Takashi to come in that door. He stared at the door blankly just waiting for it to open. Open!...Open!...OPEN SESAME!....OPEN!!! Hunny was yelling at the door through is thoughts

Tamaki Suoh- King

Tamaki leaned close to Haruhi, whispering to her again. "Do they really always do pranks on me after every time?" he inquired innocently. He frowned and shrugged, looking around the room in a curious manner. He wasn't very interested in the fight. He shrugged again and closed his eyes for a few brief moments. He looked over to Hani. The little host seemed to be worried about something. He wasn't sure what, but at a quick examination of the room, he found Mori to be missing. Since when did Mori continue to be missing while Hani wasn't? That was odd, most definitely. And everyone was still early, too. He folded his arms over his chest in defense to the earlier remarks. He wasn't that easy to pull pranks on, was he?
