As a caveat though if you beat someone 2 levels higher it should count the same. So level 1 beats level 3 they level up. Outside of that they need to beat 2 level 1's or level 2's.

How can I explain this in simpler words? I get what you mean but I don't think others will, just by reading it.

To level up you must either beat one opponent two levels above you or 2 opponents that are one level higher or the same level as you.

Thinking about it though maybe levels should be on a sort of point system where you need enough points to reach each one so it gets harder as you advance but you don't have to wait for people to reach your level before you advance. I have a vague idea what I mean by that but I'm tired and heading to bed so maybe I'll put in a suggestion tomorrow.

If we go that way, then I think the losers should get experience points too. But like 10%-25% of what they would of had if they won.

That is one option. >.> Maybe I can find other mainstream martial art guilds, like a Tenjou Tenge guild or a Yuyu Hakusho guild, and then after showing how much their guild sucks in comparison to this beautiful beast I can get them to try it out? lol
