Raven scans the area for the other members of the away team, honing in on Guy Gardner. It wasn't too difficult since he was so emotional.
Another portal takes them to Guy's exact location.

"Enough of this!"
Achilles delivers such a stomp to the floor of the cavern that it shatters and he drops down to the floor where the others suddenly appear!
"Patroclus!"
He climbs to his feet amidst the rubble and runs up and embraces his soul mate and then turns to the others.
"Hartley is well? Where is Cassandra!?"

*The group appears in a room much like the one Dani had been trapped in. It was empty save Guy Gardner who was on his knees begging somebody who wasn't there.*

Hartley pulls himself up against the wall, still limping and crippled up from the torture.

**the dark veil of magic is released and the demonic guard appears standing behind an unaware Hartley aka Pied Piper with a long sword in hand**
**Patroclus is the first to see the demon draw back the blade and he cries out**
"LOOK OUT!"
**He darts over and grabs Piper by the shoulders and pulls him out of the way...but he himself lets out a choke of air...as he slowly looks down at the blade sticking out of his chest from his back**
"PATROCLUS!!"

**Achilles roars in an absolute rage and he pummels to guard with such ferocity the back of the demon's head leaves imprints in the cavern wall! The guard weakly swings its sword at Achilles but the Greek twists the blade from its hand, pivots and buries the weapon right under its jaw! The guard crumbles, lifeless, and Achilles rushes to Patroclus's side**
"Patroclus!...Patroclus?"
**Patroclus weakly grabs his hand, squeezing it as the bloody bubbles foam at the corner of the youth's mouth and he manages a smile**

*Chris places Patroclus in Achilles's arms and retreats with the girls and Hartley.*

"Hold on...Patroclus...please hold on..."
He squeezes his hand and starts to look around wildly.
"Does the school not have a healer!?" He cries hysterically. "Get us home!!"
He looks back down and his eyes meet Patroclus's own.
"Do not leave me!"

We can't get back to the school directly, Achilles. I'm sorry. The shuttle probably has a medkit but I don't think we can move him...

Hartley cries at the girls as they try to break through his mental shock. He retreats inwards and goes catatonic.

Achilles looks desperately at Chris and his eyes darken. He closes them and shakes his head. he knew that in the past, Patroclus had died. He had died young -- much too young. He clenches his eyes shut and feels the finger tips brush his cheek. He opens them and Patroclus is gazing into his blue eyes with his own hazel.
Slowly he starts to lower his fingertips...
"No. No...no..."
Patroclus's hand thumbs gently on the cavern floor and his eyes fixed forever more on those of his life mate.
The tears flow freely down Achilles's face as he closes his eyes and his body starts racking with sobs.

R-raven. How many teleports will it take you to get Hartley, Achilles, and Patroclus back to the shuttle?
Three at least.
Take them. The rest of us will collect Guy and follow. I...I'm so very sorry Achilles.

"N-no." Achilles stammers as he looks up, his blue eyes tear stained and blood shot. He passes Patroclus's body to Raven and he stands up, a look of rage induced madness on his face. He s-l-o-w-l-y turns around and lays a fist into one of the Citadel's support beams, shattering it!
Achilles screams in rage and swings, blasting another beam to shards!
From outside of the citadel, the demons watching from afar see the monument of their lord beginning to quake.
