"Still, it's been a long time! Can't they just forget old grudges and leave you alone?!" Mala exclaimed, truly quite annoyed by Vivium's appearance. After quite a few moments, she then realised something. "Hold on! ...Atius has a daughter?!?! I thought he was incapable of breeding!"

"I'll see if I can't get her to stop tailing us or make up her mind what she's going to do. I'd also prefer one less person after my head." he said before going back downstairs to talk to Vivium once more. "So, should I add you to my list of people out to get me, or can we reach some sort of compromise here?"

Alek looked at Van for half a moment, murmuring a greeting before fixing his eyes on Vivium. "You look vaguely familiar. Purity, I believe? My great-grandmother helped along your birthing. According to vampiric custom, that would make me your soul-brother, and Angel your soul-sister." He chuckled softly. "Interesting, no? That, added to the fact that your blood, quite frankly, smells deliciously virginal, and I'm amazed Angel even had the sense to ask before she bit."
