Freya rolled her eyes to the fake maintenance worker. "Listen boy," she started to tell him, "if you want to make me believe your little disguise, you will have to work better to fool the spirits around you. Now go in and be yourself."

The boy denied her statements but ran in anyway. Then Victoria came, looking confused and dragging a Jamie in pain. She grinned at her.

"You're lucky I won't hold grudge for that unloyal volleyball match back on the beach, little girl. At least, not for now. Now get it before I decide to "forget" you here with your friend."

Of course, Freya wasn't serious about her little threat. She was just making fun of the girl. For her, any time is a good time to joke. She saw the girl looking at her with fear and confusion and just smiled at her kindly. "Hurry in. You're the last one."

OOC: Firecraq, don't mind Freya. She just happens to know lots of thing about people because she hears the dead all the time. smile

"Ehh....what can you expect from a split second decision..." The jig as it were was up so he shifted back. "Thats a unique skill..." He said as he passed through the portal. "Can't fool them all after all...."

((Meh, don't worry bout it...I didn't expect that to work very well anyways...with about 2 or 3 telepaths in the group after all.))

(((OOC: I''m not exactly sure where we are within the Institute we are so bear with me...)))

Dragging Jamie through the portal and into the annoying lush mansion was a hard task, mainly due to the seven inch height differance, but Victoria and Jamie managed to make it through. Despite her face being set like stone, the small, but apperciative peck on her cheek courtesy of Jamie made it well worth her while.

Once completely through the portal she looked around at the hallway they were standing in. It was nice, very nice, of course, but she couldn''t help shake the out of place feeling. Like, unseen eyes staring at you from all around, waiting to jump in for the kill. It was the same feeling she felt in her old home back in D.C, which was definantly not a good thing.

"Because," she said, in answer to Jamie''s question, "we wanted to live, I guess." Taking a deep breath she kept her tone even, despite the mixed emotions that were bottled up inside.

THeresa didnt know what she was feeling, but she knew she felt somthing really odd. Somthing wasnt right. SHe couldnt quite put her finger on it, but it was an uncomfortable feeling she had down in her gut.

She stands outside the rubled mansion and stares into the sky as the sun comes up. THe feeling of dread continues to pinch and pull away at here. Soon she cant take it anymore so she takes to the air, flying at a top mach speed. She had never flown this fast and she didn't know where she was going but she knew she had to go.

Soon Theresa comes upon her old home, the Seminary. SHe descends to the ground and lands on the inside of the locked gate. She begins to walk forward, but instead falls to her knees due to her injury. SHe is ofrced to use her power, and she begins to semi-float/walk. THis is taking much concentration as she is only starting to get a hold on her power.

She stands in front of the front door to the Seminary. The door is locked and wont budge. Locked doors are no match for Theresa. SHe lets put a short scream the smashes into the door, denting it, and then knocking it down to the inside. THe assult on the door triggers an alarm all through out the Seminary.

Theresa doesnt know what she is doing here, but she wished the other girl had come with her. The alarms had never soundedlike this before. The hallways are bathed in red light from the rotating emergency light. The emergence siren continues to sound. Theresa knows it wont be long till she is found to be an intruder. So she readies an onslought of mutants and or machines, by standing back facing a wall, readining a sonic scream, or to put up a sound created sheild.

"Hello?" Rachael had gone looking for the girl she had just helped out. "Now where did she go?" She frowned and looked around again. "GEN?" She called to her friend. She stopped as she felt something moving about the main floor of the mansion. "Huh?" The echos were human...and oddly they kept multiplying...which confused her.

Jamie looked around the mansion not moving anywhere just shifting his ehad back and forth memories were flowing back to him. Very little good memories from this place and most were bad. He was a former X-Men sue to Xavier's request fro him to stay here at the Mansion. He left and ran off looking for someone else to take him in to feel more accepted. When he was at teh mansion he felt like he wsn't fitting in, he knew it wasn't his place. Then he met up with the Brotherhood and his whole life changed.

"Fine we survived now let's get out of here, please"

He said feeling alot of different emotions flowling through him, he didn't want to stay long he just wanted to get away from the place. He shut his eyes and looked down and then opened his eyes and looked up seeing if it was just a dream, a nightmare for Jamie. Everything was so nice, very nice and organaixed comapred to the Brotherhood Quarters, don't get Jamie wrong, his place is with the BHood and he knows it and he likes the the place all the way, but they could be more organaized. Magneto keeps them all together luckily and keeps them in decent organaization.

Jamie then just couldn't help, but now think about how Pietro was he knew he was hurt pretty badly he might have not escaped and could be dead right now for all Jamie knows he kept on thinking about eveyone at Magneto's Quarters wondering if they escaped or not.

Markus looked at Jamie and nodded. "Yes....I'd imagine that they have things they need to take care of and we'll just be in the way." He moved towards the front door. "Thanks for the rescue...." He looked at Jamie. "You need a hand?"

Sasha waited patiently as Wanda continued the CPR on Pietro. A few minutes passed but then Pietro started to cough. Sasha, realived, helped Pietro sit up so he could breathe more easily. "Well now that you up you can answer me one thing. Where the hell are we?" she asked. "NewYork," he replied. Sasha wanted to find where the others where and to find out if Sonya was okay. "Let's go," she said. Pietro got up and wrapped his arms around them. "No, you rest," said Sasha, "I've got our ride." She took some of her sand and mixed it in with the dirt below. She then grabbed a stick and drew a huge rectangler shape on the ground. She left her hands up and the ground started to mix and emerge. Up floatind, looked liked a magic carpet of sand. "Okay, climb aboard," she said, helping Pietro up. "But I thought if you touched it, it would fall apart," said Wanda. "I had some help from a wonderful teacher," replied Sasha, thinking of Moonstar. She placed Pietro up on it, and sure enough it didn't dissolve. She then jumped on and they waited on Wanda. Wanda heistated but finally boarded the carpet. "Okay, off to the blast site," she said and off they went.

Regina glanced around the mansion and winced. "OH boy... we have got some heavy work cut out for us don't we Professor?"

"It seems so Miss Colt. For now, we'll live on the lower levels where there is room." the Professor replied. "Scott, Storm, Jean, please divide the students up accordingly to the rooms available down here and I will get on the phone with some close friends in the construction field. Everyone, it's time to pull together. Hank, please continue looking over the students."

Everyone rallied together, putting aside the differences with the brotherhood members present. They were slowly making their way out of the remains of the mansion anyway. It seemed they weren't comfortable in the area, imagine that.

Regina later found the note to her from Penny, she sighed and looked up. ~I do hope she comes back. I'd hate to lose her."

Porter walked up behind her, reading the note over her shoulder. "She's a strong one. You know she'll be back somehow, someday. Even if it's just to ribb on you about something."

"Blah..." she replied, trying not to cry. For once, she had to be strong and take over the position as Alpha leader. ~I have no idea if I'm ready for this...~

Morgan simply glared at the present Brotherhood members as everyone filed out of the mansion's wreckage, giving them that kind of look that would make the devil run the other way. He wasn't about to forgive them for what they had done, and there was still a lot of leftover rage from Forge's betrayal. In simplest terms, he was not a happy person right now.

He stood off by himself, brooding over recent events, and glaring at anyone who tried to speak to him. He really, really did not want anyone bugging him right now.

Racheal went up and saw the others. "You're all back!" She said with great releif. "We were about to throw caution to the wind and try and go rescue you...." She looked at them all. They all looked tired. "Well, we've got some of the area downstairs sorta converted to living space....due to....well...this...."

Freya rolled her eyes. She managed to get everyone, or she thought she did, out of danger and once they were back home, they all ignored her. Not a word of thanks or anything. They all went to their little worries as if she never existed. She started a funny monologue.

"Oh my god! Thank you Freya for saving our asses!

"Awww... It's nothing really. It's my job."

"You were, once again, the key to our survival."

"You're very too kind. I'll try hard to save your pathetic lives again."

Of course, no one even heard that monologue and frankly, she didn't care. It just made her feel better. Instead of making pouting, she decided to get her answers right out of the mouth of the one she wanted to meet face-to-face.

Wolverine.

His whereabouts were unknown to her. As usual, the spirits refused her to tell her anything about him. This was starting to irritate her but she knew better than fighting with the dead. They had all the time of the world and nothing you say would change their minds.

Before exploring what the x-men were calling "their home", Freya had a little thought about Wanda. Was she ok with her brother? Did she kill him already or was she toying with him? In his current state, he couldn't do much to counterattack. She just shrugged, thinking Wanda would never kill her brother. She raised her to think otherwise when she got her out of the asylum. She knew that even the professor was amazed by her work with Wanda but now, she was starting to think if all this wasn't a mistake. What if the professor wanted to take Wanda away from her under the pretenses that she is not qualified to help her or leading her on the wrong path?

Will she be alone again with her ghosts?

(((I guess it's about time I did something... sweatdrop )))

Apparently, Victoria wasn't the only one of the Brotherhood members who wanted to run away. She looked over at Jamie, and from his blank expression, he was feeling the exact same way....lout of place.

Before she had time to gripe about the current situation, several of the X-geeks showed up, apparently out of nowhere, and informed them that they had rooms ready for them. Most of their sorry looking faces were familer and others were only to much so. Her dark brown eyes rested on the slave boy from the beach who only returned it with a venomous glare. "Whatcha starin' at Moron?!" she said, putting extreme emphasis on the last mispronounciation. It was fragrently obvious the none of the X-geeks were excited about them being here, which was fine because she sure as hell didn't want to be here either.

((Sorry if my post is a little weird...I'm at a friends house right now and...yeah.... sweatdrop ))

Jamie leaned against a wall, watching the brotherhood members wearily. He wasn't sure quite what to think of them. He certainly didn't trust them, but he felt that they were human, and probably didn't deserve the hatred others were giving him.

Jamie was wavering in his thoughts though. The brotherhood members were in alot of ways at the back of his mind. Most of his thoughts were on Penny. He'd asked Regina about her, and been told she was leaving. But no one knew for how long. It was possible she would never truly come back. Jamie was positive he'd see her at least once more, if only to say a true goodbye, but either way he would miss her. She had been so many things to him. An older sister, a teacher, a rival, a comrade, and he didn't know quite what to do.

The rest of his thoughts were on Morgan. He knew it may be unfair, but he was thoroughly pissed at him. It was when Jamie had attacked Forge, and Morgan had pulled him off, only so that he could fight Forge. As though somehow Morgan had more right to Forge. Like somehow Jamie couldn't feel the betrayal. He had been stabbed in the back too.

Jamie sighed, and watched the people wandering around the mansion.

Regina squared back her shoulders and did what any leader did; went and thanked the person that helped them and the brotherhood, out of the situation.

"Freya?" she said softly, not sure what the other was looking at or thinking. "Thanks for getting our collective butts out of that place. There was no way I could have taken everyone... You seem pretty good at this saving stuff. You sure you wouldn't consider being an Xman?"

Gen was relatively unscathed from the collapse of the levels above them, and having most of the people back she felt a little out of place again. Regina was doing the leader thing. She wondered why. The professor was wheeling around with Hank as they checked on students, making sure their brains were still in place. Most of the brotherhood was making their way away from the mansion.

~Still have to wonder where my place is...~ she thought, sitting still in a corner.
