He smirked at this, but still he was a bit concerned at her tone. He knew he wasn't the cause of the chill he felt from it, yet still he felt intrigue in the pit of his stomach. "Well I was, glad to know you had been taking care of my inebriated self. He's a bit of a nuisance to say the least." He stood tall and proud, his changed self did that more often now. His ego had really grown.

Tyler nodded, things making a little more sense now. Especially the whole getting with Ever thing he just heard. He could tell earlier that Musica wasn't that fond of her, so he had to be drunk to get with her. Ty couldn't really remain mad with his dad if he'd been drunk and all those things were true. "I suppose I understand, I'm sure it can't be all what it seems. But I wasn't there, so I can't know for sure on anything."

Ares made no moves, just watching Evermore. She would have to make the first move. He was sick and tired of being the one to do anything and everything. If she truly wanted him at all... she would have to be the one to move. She would have to work for him.

Ever didn't move her eyes. She was staring right back at Ares.
"Nice how you're talking about being drunk like it was someone else. You were the one who was drunk. Take responsibility for it. Excuse me."
With that said, Ever angrily walked down the stairs. Yes, anger was quickly starting to seep into her. Also, another, weirder sensation was growing inside of her. She had her own desire for revenge, but she also felt a sense of 'duty' to get revenge. After all, she was a Fury, and Furies punished people who did horrible things. But it was a weird sensation to have all of that inside of her.
Without even paying attention to how she got there, she was suddenly in front of Ares on the dance floor. She was looking up at him with stoic eyes, though there was a deep hurt behind them.
"Hello."

"Hey." He had warring emotions playing around in his eyes--but none were malevolent. He seemed as if he were waiting for something, as if he'd forgotten something important--but what had he forgotten? He didn't know. He figured it couldn't have been too important.
Either way, he had moved away from Aphrodite. Not because Evermore was coming (well, actually, that was part of it), but because he'd felt the need to. He wasn't sure where that came from either.
He hated not knowing.

Ever nodded and crossed her hands loosely over her chest. She honestly didn't know what to say. She thought maybe Ares would apologize or something. That was ridiculous for her to think, though. Ares didn't apologize, or at least he didn't when he didn't think he did anything wrong, which was hardly ever.
"Having fun?"

Ares shrugged. "Not really. Don't really like the music." The whole scene, actually, was not his style. Country music bars were better. There were more fights there. Here... everyone was drugged up and drunk. There was no fighting--no real fighting, anyway. And what little there was, on occasion, was boring. It didn't last long.

Ever smirked slightly and looked off to the side. "Well, I guess you should head out, then. I mean, what's the point of sticking around if you're not having fun?"
She stressed the word fun as she looked back at Ares and she arched an eyebrow at him. To her, Ares looked like he had been having a lot of fun.

He smirked at her and leaned close, hands on his hips. "Well, that would be even less fun, wouldn't it?" His eyes glinted challengingly. "Unless you had something in mind? Something to make it... fun." He had an idea or two.

She smirked again, actually finding humor in what he said. It reminded her of how they used to be, and she had missed that the past few days.
However, she quickly remembered why she was upset in the first place. It was almost like her innate make-up was reminding her that revenge was needed, that she couldn't fall under Ares' charm again.
"Looks like you were already starting without me. I don't think you need me to make it more fun, Ares. Although, I am having a lot of fun knowing that I did not overreact earlier and that I was right the entire time. The satisfaction of being right can be quite comforting."
Her eyes spoke something entirely different from what she was saying. Her eyes were filled with pain and destroyed trust.

"And so the blind man has spoken, and the deaf decide to attend a concert." He watched her. Cryptic messages--his forte. Contorting the truth--Evermore's forte. Whether either realized it was unknown, but this is as things were. Ares, God of War, did not speak clearly under normal circumstances; Evermore, a Fury, did not see the facts as they were cut, but how she wished to view them.
Such things were rarely good in a pair. Such things could rarely fix themselves.
