I like it in Mushi Live, but only to a certain part, probably when he starts screaming, in my mind, I just don't think that song should have screaming in it...but anyother song is fine! heart

Kyo has a way for making things beautiful, though, even if they're so sad, if that makes any sense. It takes a lot to put such personal pain into your lyrics for the world to read, I think. ^^;

/end rant. domokun NO, I'm not disrespectful to anyone but Kyo, that's what gets you. I don't worship him like you do 3nodding and If I didn't respect Dir en grey in general (which I've never shown disrespect for the band, or their music... just their singer and his lyrics), it doesn't really make sense that I would continue to spend my money to buy their stuff of just spend the last 2 hours getting e-mail addresses of Dir en grey fans in attempts to show Dir en grey how many fans they have in the US, and get them to come, now does it? I guess that's good you're not a mod, because you wouldn't be a good one. Ya know, banning people for not liking the same things as you do and what not?
It's like taking Gackt away from Malice Mizer. It's like taking Daishi away from Psycho le Cemu. If you take away the singer, you take away their style of music/sound. gonk
I'm a mod in Inai's guild. And I'm a VERY good one. blaugh I believe I've said this a million times: I listen to a band for their MUSIC. Not their vocals, not their lyrics, that the history of he band members... The MUSIC. The most beutiful music ever written ( majority of classical music) doesn't even have any vocals. And you'll notice that the MUSIC (not the singers) of PLC, Malice Mizer and Dir en Grey are all different and unique from eachother. I think if anything vocalists who sound similar take away from a band's originality. So no, vocalists don't always (and the exception being bands that aren't very good, and do their music like everyone else) make a band's style. The MUSICIANS who write the MUSIC do. There's a huge difference from Malice Mizer's Shoroi and Dir en Grey's Kodou. And none of this well if it weren't for their vocalists, those two songs would sound the same. Without the vocalists they sound nothing a like. Pipe organs, violins, cellos and harpsichords versus loud electric guitars and insane drumlines has nothign to do with the vocalists. Even Sakai no chi to bara (malice mizer) is an AMWSOME and beautiful song, and doesn't sound like any other J-rock. It's not because of the vocalist, because there are no vocals in that song (and BTW it was better than any song with Gackt in it of theirs simply because he wasn't in it to ruin it with his quite often irritating voice. I do like au revoir, but not cuz he's in it. I have to tune him out whenever I listen to it because I listen to the MUSIC in it, especially the violin). well I believe that would be a matter of opinion, but I'm not in Inai's guild. You must not have too many (as there never really are) people who speak out against Kyo.
