Kai mimicked the salute, "Sir." he said simply as he followed...he wasn't the jumpy type that would make a wrong move and this wasn't his first time sneaking into a castle before, but the others didn't really need to know that.
Skye had saluted and replied with a standard "Yes sir." at the same time as Kai and Chronos did theirs, she grew up with a troupe of performers so she knew how to act well enough.
Zemes had closed his eyes as he focused on Kai and the others, "..they're all fine so far dear..it seems they're good liars." he said to Shina since she asked to know how they were.

Kuroi elegantly marched up to the large ornate black door, two guards in very high ranking armor standing by. "Guards." he said in an orderly fashion. "I have with me the new recruits for the royal guard. We are to present them to his highness before initiation."
The two guards scanned the group before simultaneously saying. "Right away, Prince Kuroi Kinzoku." They said, turning and beginning to unbolt the heavily blockaded door.
Dai Wei stopped as he reached a heavy steel door. "Alright, we all ready? The king is on the other side."

"I suppose if I was in the same situation, I would assume the same thing. But how can you be sure? How could you remember anything from before you could talk? What if Melody, your mother, and I lived in secret at that peaceful village, hiding from the king that destroyed our world? What if I watched your father heal our mothers broken heart? What if I helped change your diapers? You may have thought that no one survived. But you didn't know about my shade pure blood. What if I used it to save Mell and myself before you could speak. When mother told us that we wouldn't survive, that she wouldn't~" Xepher stopped himself. He knew that if he went any further, he would just be reminding Harmony of the fact that her curse had killed her own parents.
Though Debido was Mells priority right now, she had been preparing to face and obliterate the king, or at least his son, for her whole life. The objective was to take from him what he had taken from her. But defeating the king wasn't just about getting revenge anymore. Defeating the king meant protecting the ones that she loved. nodded to Dai Wei that she was ready, and impatient.

The guards finally opened the last lock and the door swung open, the guards stepping aside.
Dai Wei whispered to Mell "Behind the throne there will be an iron barred door. Follow that down to the dungeon. Eventualy you'll reach an empty room. Place the orb I gave you into the wall with a slightly different feel to release the captives." held his fist up. As he did his troops all readied blasts of mana. Holding three fingers up, he silently counted down for the attack. When all three fingers were down, his men opened up a large blast, sending the door flying across the room.
Kuroi shouted "Now!" he said, opening fire at Zeng Hen.
Debido also shot out a powerful burst of water towards the king.
Yuure became a ghost and sank into the floor, hurrying towards the dungeon.
Dai Wei and his soldiers then all opened fire on Zeng Hen as well after rushing into the room.
Chronos slowed down time to speed up the atacks of the attackers.
Zeng Hen, startled by the attacks, couldn't block them in time and took the hit. The guards both saw the revolt, but as one began to charge Kuroi, the other held his hand to the first guard's back, firing a blast straight into him and blowing him to bits.

Skye got her bow ready and notched two arrows in one fluid motion, then shot the two lightly frosted arrows at Zeng Hen when the other attacked.
Kai narrowed his gaze but didn't attack when the others did, he didn't think it was a good idea to use all their powers at once, instead he waited till after and slammed his fist into one of the surprised guards throats so he could move a few feet from the others. Kai broke his armor apart as he quickly lashed out with the blood he'd been storing, making about a dozen whips to strike at Zeng Hen and whatever guards were in the room.

Sugar, was behind the rest, and so when the attack came, she set two of the guards near the door on fire, creating a panic outside as the doors closed.
Harmony seemed to glare at Xepher as he clearly had put salt on an old unhealed deep wound. Don't assume you know everything! You know nothing! I am an only child!

Melody nodded, gripped the orb tighter, and ran. She could hear many voices at once coming from different directions including Kuroi's and the kings. She felt Debido's presence too but she couldn't be distracted and... "Wait! How am I supposed to know where the throne is?!" She whispered to herself as she realized that, without thinking, she had ran to a position where there was nothing to touch or guide her. So Mell proceeded to wander around aimlessly with arms outstretched, her bone dagger in one hand, and orb in the other.
Xepher crossed his arms. "Very well, you can believe what you want to believe. No one is stopping yo~" Suddenly he heard Mells voice. "Ah hah! Their here! You no longer have to fear my damsel's in distress! I'll rescue us all." X pulled two black shrouds out from his shadow and threw them to Kusargi and Harmony. "Put these around you and no one will see you. It will be exactly as if you were just a shadow. Except for your voice... people can hear that." Xepher made a face because he knew he wouldn't be able to hear Kusargi. "And I don't care if you never trust me again. Just trust me now."

Zeng Hen finally recovered from the stagger of the attacks. "Kuroi you traitor!!!" He screamed, firing a large blast of mana towards the group.
A few of Dai Wei's guards teleported in front of and blocked the blast. "Kuroi! You and your group lead Mell over there to the dungeon!" The guards shouted to him before firing a spray of decoy shots at the king.
Kuroi nodded and signaled the group to follow him, as he rushed off, grabbing Mell's wrist before dragging her past an iron door, whispering "Follow me."
Yuure, reaching the dungeon, tried to phase through the wall as she was stopped by the wall. "What the-?"
Debido conjured up some water to fall on Zeng Hen, aiding the distraction before running after Kuroi.
Chronos snapped his fingers and sped up the group's running speed.

Kuroi was the last person whom Mell expected to help her. Her chest practically throbbed with embarrassment. How could she sink so low as too need help from her rival. Still, she kept quiet and kept her head low so that no one would notice her reddening face. Her voice was nonchalant as she said, "Thanks." But once Kuroi got her to the entrance, she could let go to pull open the heavy barred door and feel the cold walls of the dungeon. With one arm on the wall and the other around her arm, Mell started running even faster than her normal inhuman speed thanks to Chronos.

Kuroi picked up the pace to keep up with Mell. "I know what you're thinking, but we're on the same side, just trust me." he said to her.

Kai glared a little at the sudden appearance of the guards, he wanted to fight and kill the king..but before he could protest his feet were encased in a thin sheet of ice and Skye was pulling him along after the others. "..the hell!? I don't run from battles." he growled at her.
Skye didn't even spare a glance, "This is a rescue mission, remember..?" she said as he pulled Kai along after the others.
~meanwhile Zemes was getting a good laugh at that..

Zeng Hen quickly noticed Kuroi and his group had escaped to the dungeon. He returned shots to Dai Wei's guards, making them stagger enough so he could follow them. A few feet from the door, he barely dodged a swift flash.
The flash turned out to be Dai Wei who had rushed over and slashed his claws at the king's throat. After getting the king's attention, he called off his guards and slammed the dungeon door shut. "Remember me?" he said in a cold tone, his tattered and pieced together tail swaying with hate.
Zeng Hen, after not but a second chuckled. "Well well well, long time no see. I must say I'm shocked to see that you're still alive."
