Kale laughed harder when she fell and tried to hide her embarrassment. He just couldn't help it, the scene she presented him was just too funny and he didn't know why. He couldn't even talk he was laughing too hard.
Talon got up at hearing a strange laugh that sounded an offal like his long time friend, Kale. Going down stairs just to see if his ears didn't set him astray, he was shocked to say the least to see Kale laughing to the point of collapsing where he stood. He looked around to see what it was he was laughing at and saw Kaida in a sprawled out position on the floor with an embarrassed look upon her face, a ripped up pillow that greatly resembled her fingers and teeth and the tv on. 'That explains it.' he thought to himself, smiling. "Well, congratulations Kaida. You got Kale to laugh his head off for the first time in many years. Memorize the moment, it may not happen again for a long time." he advised, glancing back at the still laughing vampire, who was seemingly unaware of Talons presence.

Echo set the book down when she read through a good portion of it. She grabbed her cane to navigate through the library. She had been reading when she realized that it had been a long time since she was outside. Echo couldnt help the childish tug that wanted to go sit in the grass and feel the cool wind on her arms. She walked, aiming to get to the front door.

Kaida frownewd and pouted until she heard a voice. Jumping up to a standing position she turned her attention to Talon and then to Kale. "Hm. Well then he is just boring not to laugh." She chuckled lightly and walked passed him, wrinkling his hair and puching his head to the side; her intent to knock him down. She made her way over to Talon then, talking in a almost silent manner and too quick for human ears. "So how is your human fellow?" She asked politely.

Kale did fall but he continued to laugh harder at her attempts to make him shut up. Tears were already forming in his eyes he was laughing so hard.
Talon shrugged. "She is reading in the new library I prepared for her." he answered with ease.

Frowning at Kale, Kaida turned to Talon. "That's good. Are you planning on doing anything..?" She asked, although no answer would be fine. Sighing, she gave Talon a look like I-wish-he-would-stop-laughing-at-me. "Just because it's his first laugh doesn't mean it has to be about me." She muttered, even softly for a vampire.

Talon shook his head at her question and smiled at her a bit at her discomfort. He touched her shoulder and turned her around. "Look at him Kaida. What is it you always see but isn't there any more?" he gave her a few minutes before telling her. "He's truly happy. He even has his guard down. He's becoming what he was before he forgot himself. This is his true nature." he let go of her and went down to kale and patted his back to calm him down. "And I don't think he's laughing at you." talon assured her as Kale finally calmed down and allowed Talon to help him up. "You've finally become a man, huh Kale?" he asked smirked a bit.
"Oh shut up!" Kale stated in reply, but instead of being angry like usual, he was smiling and even gave a friendly punch to Talon's chest.

Kaida licked her lips softly and turned her head to the side. "Why now?" She asked softly, not that she was upset or anything. So he was letting his guard down? wasn't that a bad thing? So why was it falling apart?

Echo moved until she found the stairs. She was careful, using her cane to make sure she didnt fall. Echo walked around, not sure where the door was. When she found a window she decided it would be ok to just sit next to an open one. She was getting tired and a little frustrated in trying to find a door. Echo pushed the window open, struggling.

Evangeline pulled the blanket over her as she watched the movie, sleepiness taking a grip over her. By the end, she was dozing off into subconsciousness.

Lucas smiled softly as he came out of the bathroom, his walking improving. He covered Evangeline up better and tucked her in, taking his pillow and setting it on the floor. Taking another blanket and making it sort of a sleeping bag, he laid on the floor and soon dozed off as well, his body still slightly weak.

Evangeline turned over on her stomach and stretched her limbs out on the bed, a blissful smile on her face. "Mmmm..." She murmured happily in her dream.

Kale heard her thoughts, and glanced up at her grinning. 'Its because I have you. I'm not falling apart love, I'm being put back together, by you.' he answered her silent questions.
Talon chuckled and left the two alone once more. Thing will be interesting from now on. He went upstairs and caught sight of Echo. "What are you doing?" he asked curiously.

Kaida smiled at Kale, walking over to him. She let a hand run through his hair and held him gently. Pulling his head to her, she let their lips meet and wouldn't let him go. 'And I will put you back together, I promise.' She swore silently.

"Trying to get this window to stay open." Echo said calmly getting slightly irritated when she heard it shut. "I wanted to go outside, but when I couldnt find a door I just settled for opening a window. It's been a long time since I've gone outside" Echo commented feeling around for her cane.
