xp Now we're going to be stuck in the cold for several weeks, our furnace more badly broken than first thought. The repairs/replacement of parts would be over $ 1,000, but the guy said that the better choice would be to buy a brand new furnace -and thats $2,400...needless to say, we're stuck freezing our butts off... T _ T))

((Switch places with Spi, then, and that's the last I'll hear of this from you two! Now that that argument is settled... razz ))

A light blinked on. Then, it pulsed, from its point of origin, simply symbolizing a computer booting up. The cyborg did not move, at first. It's new computerized brain was going over the multitude of information, installing the operating system, and stabilizing. The body would not move beforehand.

Then, Aerclayr opened its eyes.

Blake coughed. Then hacked. Then wheezed. Then coughed and hacked and wheezed and farted, all at the same time. His condition took a rapid turn for the worse, and the various computerized equipment he was attached to began beeping, blinking, blaring, and alarming with annoying clarity.

The book that had been in Blake's hand fell to the floor. A tremendous pain passed through his body, stopping briefly at his torso, his heart, before continuing down and the restarting at the head.

It did this twice more. Then, Blake surrendered into unconsciousness.

Marth found himself at the security station (having avoided the remains of poor Leon), sitting in a rolling chair, examining various security footage. He was looking for any possible glimpse of Maggie, any indication of where she might have gone.

Matt felt a draft, so he quickly turned up the heater thermostat in his room to make it nice and toasty, before snuggling under his thick blanket to continue playing his handheld game.

"I should have figured." Mariel winked. On the outside, she put on her best friendly, calm act but on the inside she was going over ever plan she could to get off this ship and back onto the Atlantis or, better yet, her own.

@Z: sure. go ahead. As long as it doesn't make you try to kill Jeremy, DAI, or Dr. Erin, you're good.)

Jad shook his head, "You aren't going anywhere. You are on the Ascendant Dragon, flagship of the Pyresian war fleet. You think I'd let a girl I don't even know go out to frolic in my halls and plant explosives? Damn right I would, but that's not the point. You snuck into my bridge while I was doing... oh geez, what was I doing? aw, who cares, point is you snuck in. And I don't like sneaky things, so you're staying right here in the bridge... with me... and the alcohol."

"Yep, so grab a bottle of whatever and get drinking, or not... it won't matter until Nina's communications officer is back to his post..." Jad sipped his drink, safe behind his force bubble.

Jeremy inspected the cyborg, then snapped his fingers, "I forgot something! Here we go!" He lifted a large square object and shoved it into the open chest cavity, where there was a click and a hum as it activated. Dr Jermy the closed the opening. "That'll make it a bit easier."

Mariel grabbed a bottle of whatever and drank it. Not long after she'd started to feel tipsy, her invisibility powers started going hay-wire (as they usually did when intoxicated) she'd briefly, for a second or two, go invisible and reappear every so often.
