"Oh yeah. We're going to get attacked now that you said it." Piney wasn't eager to stay in the forest any longer than she had to. She had out her Pokemon for protection, but if they encountered some dark or ghosts, they wouldn't be much help...
Trying to clear her mind and stay on task, she got onto the wagon and hoped for the best. At least they were with people.

Jenette looked around, tightening her grip around Venna. Ghost pokemon always gave her the chills... and she was afraid they might run into them here. "Anyone see anything suspicious yet?" She asked lightly, trying to keep calm. Even Venna couldn't hide the slight shaking in her hands. "I don't really like this..." She graoned.

 Meeka trotted Ebba over to Arashi and smiled when she caught the sight of a Girafaring. "Congrats Arashiiiiii~!" she said as she jumped from Ebba and gave him a congratulatory tackle hug. "What's his name? What's his name?" Meeka said with a smile and she eyed the Girafaring's other end. "Waaaa! So cuttteeeee~!" Ebba just stared at it also. Another Pokemon like Hea? He guessed this one's other end wasn't edible either.

Gathering up her things, Arin managed to move through the wagon until she was near the front so she could peek her head out and see the backs of the Tauros, as well as the wagon in front of her. She wanted to be ready for anything, this time, so she decided to keep one eye outside for any trouble. Hush had managed to climb into Arins lap and now lay there, still sleepy.

Nyght's eyes grew wider and wider as Alastair continued to talk. Soon she started shaking her head to his suggestion that she ride a tauros as well. "No thanks, I'll stay here in the wagon." As if to prove her point, she sat down on the pink painted wood.
"But I'll stay in the front to keep you company...." It was also a good way to see what was coming first, she didn't want to be surprised again. It was going to be the only way she dealt with this situation. To reinforce her opinion, the caravan started moving, and her eyes were wide as she tried to search every tree for pokemon hiding behind it...

Liam went shock-still at the nickname the Rocket had given the Tauros. For a moment he looked like he might push Ridley off the Tauros -- he was seriously considering it. However, it seemed hysterics of a different kind won the battle, and Liam burst out laughing, tilting his head back and would have fallen backward off the pokemon, had he not grabbed Ridley around the waist at the last second, regaining his balance.
"W-what d-did you just say?" he managed to say between breaths, calming down a bit, "D-don't tell me you seriously just called that pokemon SoulCrusher." Smirking, the healer shook his head, another bout of laughter overtaking him.

Lamen nodded and swung herself over the Tauros, onto its back, and grabbed its horns (which were being used a reins, more or less.) She chuckled at the mention of Mattress' nickname. "Well... I was kind of sleepy, and it's kind of what he became. He doesn't seem to mind though, right, Mat?" Lamen patted him on the head, and he swished his three tails happily. He probably had never even gotten a nickname before- thus was the fate of pokemon who were just bred for the sake of loaning them out to travelers for money.
Letting Astrel clamor up behind Lamen, she settled one hand on "Mattress" back and swung up. "Ah. Well I suppose we're probably the first humans to take notice of them...besides when they're being hitched to the wagons and what not." Settling herself on the tauros properly, she let Astrel climb up onto her shoulder and onto her head. Something was telling her this was going to be a very bumpy ride.

Kris giggled at Sunnie's reaction. "Sorry, Sunnie, but I didn't know how else to wake you(even though I could have just poked you or something)!"
She giggled as Sunnie pushed her sleeping pokemon off of her. "I'm not sure what's going on, I just woke up myself." She grinned as Sunnie hopped onto Vitesse. She grabbed her own pokeball from her belt and called Paix out.
"Alright buddy, are you ready again?" Paix crowed and leaned down so Kris could climb on top of him. Kris smiled. "Thanks buddy!"
At Luna's shout Kris nodded. She was prepared for anything(except maybe an extremely viscious pokemon attack).

 It seemed that the close contact was all she needed to snap back to being herself. She blinked in shock as the man wiped her lip, and when he finished, she looked up and blushed slightly out of embarassment.
"Oh, did I have something on my face?" she asked meekly before taking a gander at the floor to avoid eye contact. Keeping her eyes focused there until her cheeks cooled off a bit, she responded to his question: "No, slept in the wagon last night. About as comfortable as camping outside."
Spoiled, yes, one might use that word to describe the idol.

 "No thanks, I'm not a big fan of oranges." Taking another bit of the apple, she sighed. "Well, I can't blame you for being intrigued by the forest. I am too, but it just gives me an odd feeling. Like when my sister's gastly wanted to play one too many tricks around the house."
