Thanks Kouri. heart
And agreed. San was the definite highlight of the picture (spent the most time drawing her out of the three characters there =3). Though I suspect I should've made her hair more wavy... Ah, well, I'll do that for the next pic. On the bright side, the jewelry was fun to draw, though the scanner didn't make the little line details come out too well. ._.
How's Malaysia? =O What do you do there?

Especially this one cousin of mine younger than me he practically grew 1 foot in like. the 7 months I haven't seen him lol. You know~ family bonding time. Awesome.

Your family's in Malaysia? That's cool. I never been there...but I really do wish I could see the eastern nations more... =3
My mum isn't on very good terms with her family...so we haven't been to Shanghai in years. As far as my dad's family goes, most of them are here in the US, except for his two sisters and their families who are still in Shanghai... Anyhow, mum dislikes the Chinese government too and now too has a fear of their food...so all of that, plus her fear of planes...we don't get to travel anymore... T.T
*sigh*
I wanna go visit Japan...dad's lucky...he gets to go there on company trips (to pick up orders for fine pearls)...
emo
He said I wouldn't want to go there, though. Something about a cup of coffee being helluva expensive. o_O

I live in Chinatown, New York City, lolz. =O And my parents are old generation Chinese folk, and my mum and dad can both cook really well (cept mum makes a nightmare out of the kitchen's state while she's at it), so yes, I have eaten authentic Chinese food/Shanghainese specialty and all.
A pity I can't cook, though... >.> I'm still learning but I suspect that even if I do learn, I'll end up more like mum due to inexperience in the kitchen...the food might taste good, but the piles of pots and pans and the atrocious state of the stove will tell tales of a great war... >.>''
But there's a lot of places to eat in Chinatown. I even found this great Dumpling/Wanton shop specializing in Tiangjing (sp?)'s method of dumpling/wanton making. (The difference is actually in the quality of the skin, and I really do like how they make the insides too. =3) I know quite a few good noodle shops too and this Shanghainese restaurant makes THE BEST crab dumplings (far better than even that town square of sorts in Shanghai, which is famous for the crab dumplings)~
We went to the best restaurants in Shanghai the last time we visited. But I think there's still good reason to be suspicious of the foods, since China...well...it's not like after you earn an award for the factor/restaurant/hotel that they come and do check-ups every few years or so to ensure quality. I don't like the 'honor for life' concept they use.

So we'll be expecting an week long absence from you when your body finally realizes how sleep-deprived it is, Sakuran?
Making uber posts depends on having a really thoughtful character and people around you who are also making long, detailed posts. If you only give me a sentence to reply to and a shallow one at that, I can only respond with so much. If you give me what Melody does, a long interesting monologue coupled with some physical actions, it's much easier. I just say everything that comes to mind when responding to her posts.
Plus, neither of us are really concerned about leveling our characters so we focus more on getting to know the other girl.

lolz, Makuta, it doesn't matter that I don't move in for another.... 18 day, 22hours.... and 22 minutes!!! xd
I'm still a college girl wink
And I'm still ubber jealous of ur ubber long posts ninja But you are right, it really does help when you have someone like Chaotic going into such great detail, then having you doing the same for her. I know that when I'm RP'ing my girl on my own, I try to keep my posts rather short because I think I may end up making her have a case of A.D.D otherwise... cause I get scatterbrained when I am making her think
And I can go for a hell of a long time with minimum amount of sleep! But you never know... you may be right azzie!!! rofl Specially after move in weekend
