I'm not sure if we have any Disney movies. We used to have a few of them on the video cassette things, but not anymore since we got rid of the VCR. I've only ever seen a few Disney movies though. sweatdrop

IceeWitch Alutian
Mine - Archimedes the Highly-Educated Owl, from The Sword in the Stone...followed closely by Merlin of the same movie. I love the wit and snark. Always have. I don't remember if it was a movie or a book...knowing me it was probably a book...but I don't remember. Anyway I loved it. It was about King Arthur and Merlin lived going backwards or something. Great book (I'm pretty sure)
The Merlin living backwards thing sounds familiar, and I think I remember it in a book as well. For the life of me, I can't remember which book, though. I read so much, and so much of that includes King Arthur aspects, it all sort of gets mixed up and muddled together in my head...
Perhaps I'll make a new discussion thread just for Disney discussion.

Alutian: I agree.... I know it's well known (I'm certain it's a book now, I remember so many details) but can't think of the name. It was my first King Arthur book too

Okay, I think I'm weird. My mom and sister went to the nearest thing that can reasonably be called a city around here today to take care of some bulk grocery shopping, etcetera. They came back with a couple of books for me as well. After I calmed down, I began to wonder if it could be called normal for a teenage girl to get all excited over Collins Latin Concise Dictionary and Star Wars and Philosophy. Somehow, I don't think so...
On another note, the subconscious mental link my sister and I seem to share appears to be getting stronger. Yesterday I was just thinking that I needed a new flexiruler (or similar), since my old one vanished and my plastic ruler is broken at both ends so that I can't draw a straight line longer than eight inches with it. I forgot about it by today, however, and hadn't ever mentioned this to my sister. Somehow, while they were out, she realized that I might need a new ruler, and she got me just what I needed.
Then, this evening, I happened to glance at the clock and realize that, as I was watching both my siblings tomorrow and they started school the next day, I had better get them to bed pretty early tomorrow evening. I hadn't even opened my mouth to make this comment when my sister turned to me and said, "I hate you." Why? Because I had just reminded her that she starts school in two days. Without saying a word.

So, out of curiosity and to foster discussion, does anyone else here share an almost-uncanny link with another person, be it a parent, sibling, cousin, or significant other?

I dont have any siblings at all, but i have heard of this before, in twins mostly and i definitely believe in it, i think its awesome that you and your sister share such a special bond.
