Asphiel walked inside with a small girl in his hands, a small fox girl with big brown hair and crying because of a scratch on her knee. He placed the girl down on the counter and looked for the small First Aid Kit. He walked back to her and gave her one of Caradoc's lollipops to make her stop crying while he cleaned the wound.

River slowly walked down the stairs, half blinded by the sudden light. She stumbled catching herself when she hit the floor, shaking her head in a thoughtful manner. " Darn steps..Darn lights.." She mumbled to herself as she got up and proceeded to get something to drink. Taking soft steps as she went along, her eyes scanned the bar, oblivious of anyone else around at the moment, her face showing her deep thought.

He saw River and smirked thinking of her and one thing that has been bothering him for a while, "Uhm, hey River. This is Amy, Amy this is River," the little girl looked at River and waved as she sucked her lollipop, still a bit teary, "she fell while playing with the others."

Rubbing her face she stopped looking over her shoulder, the black ringed eyes staring at her for some time before she looked away and waved over her shoulder, " Hello, Amy-chan." Walking up to the sink she leaned over it closeing her eyes, trying to get the spots to go away, " Is that so? Well She seems alright...who are the others?" Lifting her head she looked at him fully now, still rubbing around one of her eyes to sooth the burning feeling from the over excess of light so suddenly.

"Oh, just some kids I take care of. I left them with someone while I brought Amy here." he placed a band-aid over the scratch and put her down on the floor. "Can I go play with the piano?" Amy said pointing at the stage and Asphiel just nodded and she ran to the stage. He walked to River and placed his hand on top of his eyes, "Just close your eyes and open them little by little."

"..You take care of children?" Nodding a bit she did what was asked of her, closeing her eyes and slowly opening them." I ..Am not fond of little children, And..May I ask why I'm doing this?" continuing to slowly open her eyes just being told to close them put her on high alert, she didn't want to fall asleep and wasn't going to let someone put her to sleep."..I don't understand.."

"Yeah, I like children," he said looking at her, knowing quite well she didn't like children, "if you open your eyes so fast you'll go blind, open them little by little and away from the light, that's why I put my hand on top of your eyes. The sound of the nonrythmical sound of the piano.

"Alright.." Finally getting them open she just stared at his palm for the longest time, after becomeing irritated and pushing his hand away from her face in protest. " So, First you run away from me, now you are being nice? Angel boy you make no sense to me." She commented acting bored when she was really quite curious. The sound of the piano grabbing her attention after a while of listening to it. Walking over slowly she calmly reached down lifted the small hands from the keys and played a little tune before placing the girls fingers on the right keys and pressing them down softly for her, " The noise you make is annoying and ear shattering. Play softly." How compulsed she was to just lift her and throw her agaisnt the wall, and it was show clear in her eyes that she wasn't pleased with her need to be controled.

Amy looked at River and started crying and she ran to Asphiel and hugged his leg and all he could do was pet her on the head, "I thought you forgot about it or cooled off...If you want love I'm not the right man. I can fall in love." "Yes you can," the girl whispered and he just ignored and looked straight at River.

A little taken back River narrowed her eyes. " What makes you think I can even feel that,..That in general?" Leaning a bit back she stared at the little girl for a moment, her eyes turning back on Asphiel. " I am cooled off, I don't care sorry for being curious..And sorry for wanting to make someone happy for once." She shot at him, her expression telling an emotion far diffrent then the anger in her voice. Shaking her head she smiled and waved it off," I don't care, Asphiel And If I think about it, I am acting a little jealous is all. It will pass." Saying those words made River re-think them suddenly, in her mind she cursed herself out loudly as she walked back to the sink to get water.

The girl ran out the door when she saw her mom waving and went away. Asphiel looked at space, not moving or looking at River. After a while he moved to the couch and took a razor out and made a bottle of beer float to him. He removed the leather arm strap he used to cover the scars. He took the beer and gulped it down, not even saying a word but the glow of his eyes were diming.

Looking at him from the conner of her eyes she watched for a moment, drinking her cup of water like she wished. "...Hey.." She said hopeing that got his attention as she leaned over the bar. Never being fond of what he was drinking she watched closely. "...Asphiel...?"
