Lily sniffled and shook her head, looking a bit helpless. "I don't... there's nothing more... I don't know how to help him!" she wailed, then looked away from the two, ashamed of herself. "I can't help him... I'm useless..."

Guan looked to Cerri, hoping she would have something to do so he wouldn't have to do anything.

Cerri growled, then let go of Lily, turning away. "If you won't even try, then you don't deserve him anyway." she informed the teen, then looked to Guan. "Looks like it will just be us. I'm going to go check my travel packs. You can come with me, or try to talk sense to the idiot... I'll hit her if I don't leave." Nodding firmly, she started for the stairs, leaving a shocked Lily, who'd expected sympathy.

Guan nodded to Cerri and walked over to Lily. Without saying a word he lifted her off of the ground and threw her over his shoulder fireman style and carried her towards the door.

Lily cried out and struggled briefly, but that soon subsided, and she lay limp over his shoulder. "Where are you taking me?" she asked, voice trembling, vial still clutched tightly in one hand.

Guan neither flinched nor spoke at Lily's brief protest and carried her out the door and down to the clearing where he and Arlen had trained.

On arriving back at the building, Lily didn't wait for Guan, instead sprinting up to her room immediately. She shut herself in among her books, researching late into the night for an answer.

Guan stepped into the Muffin shortly after Lily had dissappeared upstairs. Shaking his head he retrieved the tray and cups from before and went to fix himself another cup of tea.

Some time later, Cerri wandered down to pick up the map and book, giving a bit of a smile to Guan. "Hello again, hon. How'd it go?"

"She won't be moping for a while," Guan said, sipping his tea. "I'm not sure what she will be doing though."

"Anything's better than the moping." Cerri murmured, making a face. Then she sighed and cleaned up the mess they'd made earlier before walking to Guan, slipping her arms around his neck from behind, kissing the spot just under his ear. "Thank you, by the way."

"I'm out of plans." Cerri admitted quietly, her chin on his shoulder as she sighed. "At least for tonight... tomorrow will be planning day. Right now I just need to unwind, then get some sleep."
