Orient comes back to the ship with a mess of men. He calls Caspian, and Uriel down. Caspian knows some of the men and can vouch for them. Uriel's creepy, and he can tell if the men are bad, or something like that.

Uriel feels a bit weird going down to help out with something like this, considering he can only really notice something like immediate bad intentions, which he doesn't pick up for anyone.
Caspian can vouch for almost half the men... and two of them he can specifically reccomend be gotten rid of.

Orient gets rid of the ones that Caspian tells him too, and hires the others. The rest he just sends away, because they don't need that many people.

SO today is the second or third day that Syd doesn't feel like killing himself because he's so sick. He knows Tybalt is still mad at him about getting high though, so he's treading extrememly lightly. Ty hasn't even slept with him yet...
During Syd's sick days, the remainder of his band had quit on him, leaving him as a lone lead singer and really, he doesn't want a solo career. Ty had graciously volunteered to put up audition posters around the school and such. He'd said that all Syd had to do was show up, and choose.
So here Syd is, in the theatre at their school, to see what kind of talent it has to offer.

Tybalt kind only maybe had managed to get a collection of girls to audition... and Aiden, but that's because Aiden is SO not syd's type, like even less than Ty is, and because Ty has a soft spot for him. He was half planning to do this anyways, because he doesn't want Syd to like any of the boys, but being mad just made him more determined that this was totally the best way to go.
One of the auditioners is Aiden's little sister, Liz, who's actually really bloody good at the drums.

After the third Girl auditions, Syd shoots Ty a not-so-amused look. Mostly because they all suck like, really bad. But then Liz comes on, and she's actually decent, more like WAY decent, so Syd's not so angry,.

Tybalt just griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiins~ back when Syd shoots him the look, because it made Ty feel just a little better. There weren't too many people trying out, because dude. it's like a small band. and he specifically set it up so there were some suckers, liz, some suckers, Aiden. Because really, most of the people auditioning weren't all that great.

Syd writes Liz's name on the list for call-backs. He hadn't met the girl before, but she looks uncannily like Aiden, so he's sure there's a family tie in there somewhere.
He yawns through the next few acts.

Syd hadn't known that Aiden was looking for a band, and he also hadn't known that Aiden was *this* good. He jots the boy's name down quickly, then thanks everyone.

Syd gives him a look. "Almost everyone here today sucked a**." he complains. "And they were msotly girls too!"
Aiden thinks about sticking around, but he decides that he wants to go jam with Rafa instead.
