Vincent Valentine-Jenova Meriko Oh God. The mispronounciation of kamikaze sends me up the wall. @_@ The way some people pronounce it they're practically saying Transvestite Housekeeping instead of Heavenly Wind!

What I find worse is in the moive we were watching in Physics... They couldnt pronouce Hiroshima or Nagasaki for the life of them!

It was making my Japanese major friend cringe! xp

...This brings to mind my chemistry teacher.
She somehow managed to mispronounce Schrodinger. @__@

My avi edit order so far is totaling at 5350 Gold. I was originally planning just to buy a few 250 gold edits 0_0
I'm trying to figure out if and how I could order Kimini's Bender edit wearing a Gaian top hat, bow tie, and monicle and how much it would cost.
I want a Zoidberg edit wearing the Gaian pimp suit. biggrin

WOOT! eek My old Oekaki from the other day was too outdated. New one can be found down there. You can register, set up a profile, manage pictures by specific artist, and choose different templates to use for color schemes. Very awesome. heart http://unknownvariable.net/oekaki/To all who drew me a picture the other day: I saved them, and will upload them to a gallery sometime soon.~ ^_^

I really hate it when tourists come to San Diego.
They can't pronounce things for the life of them.
La Jolla...that's like so abused. They think it's Lah-Joh-lah...when it's pronounced Lah-hoy-yah. Spanish. 3nodding
And Escondido. They say Ess-kun-dih-doh, when it's Ess-kun-dee-doh. And then El Cajon, Ell-kay-jun, no no, it's El-kah-hohn.
Weird...what else...
And I hate when someone mispronounces Yosemite. It's Yoh-seh-meh-tee...or well that's how my friend pronounces it (and she goes there every year). Some say the horrid Yoh-seh-mait (ai pronounced like I). *shudders* blaugh

;_; I was trying to buy plane tickets to visit my boyfriend in Atlanta for Thanksgiving, but while I was ordering, the price of the tickets went up over 100 dollars! WHILE I was making the order online!
If it's too expensive, I wont be able to get the tickets and I wont be able to see my boyfriend until after Christmas... ;_;
We haven't seen eachother since august...

For Thanksgiving we'll probably be going with my father-in-law to California. Hubby's mom and sisters (also step-dad) live in California.
I'm hoping that I can just go and hide somewhere while the food's cooking though.
