Blah blah blah, I like all outcomes.

And play Shadowrun for the SNES, then the Genesis. You'll get it.

That's good. I'm enjoying the twist and turns so far despite the near death fist to the face. sweatdrop Although you did make me really want to pull a thunderous shouryuuken outta the bag since you decided to attempt the falcon punch. On second thought I should have. It would have made the match as funny as it was epic with each of us pulling out variations of renowned moves from different famous fighting characters. rofl

Damned.. bank.. gonna.. [Rings the air.]

I'll post in a bit Vash, OUR EPIC DUEL MUST CONTINUE. First, going to try not seething and giggling at the thought of lobbing smoke bombs into my bank. Third 5-7 business day ring-around they've given me, rhgrhghrghrgrg.

EDDDITTUU:

I'd contact ye over messenger but I don't have your MSN or AIM 'er anything- very good post, but I feel there's some glaring flaws we might need to unfortunately address. I'll keep it consise, and I'm sure we can work it out pretty well. I'd take it to PM(s), except I'm too lazy to bring up another window when I'm already in the edit post page here. Plus, it's not like these faggerts were saying anything important other than Vintrict denying his fierce obsession with yaoi anyway. =P

AHHHHHEeeeeem.

The "Unlocked Mind" premise is awesome, kinda gives you a heightened sense of what contrasts the norms in this situation. But right below that would be my first (and very pivotal) issue,

Quote:
His head, the only feasible target of the looming punch, Vash moved accordingly to counter his opponents well played attack by dipping low as he pushed his body forward while moving his head away from the oncoming fist.

If we're both charging forward, and Omi's legs are being shifted out from under him, and his fist is flying straight forward from just above his waist.. well, I never stated he was aiming for the skull. That right fist would go forward far lower than that [again, just above the waist, around the gut area.] And while our character heights are different, there's not that radical a difference. If anything, the head in circumstances like that would be a poor spot to aim for and Omi rarely does gun for the skull - currently, as it is, if Vash is leaning lower, that'd ironically place his skull roughly where the fist is going, and I'm sure you don't mean for that. XDD

Far more minor is this:

Quote:
Needless to say, the snake wasn’t even an issue for Vash either. If one were to recall his actions as he removed the last three orbs from his pouch they would remember that he had dropped one into the sand while he dashed towards Omi. This same orb would stop the snake.

If the orb is in the sand and the serpent is at the same height as earier a good ways above the sand, not to mention the serpent's coming in from the northern boundary of the arena while the orb was dropped directly behind Vash - it'd be a stretch to say the mine, even post-explosion and expanded, would hit the serpent at all unless further action was taken.

But the first point is really the big one, because that changes the entire pretense of the post and the events that follow, needless to say. As things are now, Vash would be leaning into a reinforced super-punch crashing straight into [or the whereabouts of] his skull before anything else. And I could've just replied as is, but I can tell you had the idea of where the punch was going down wrong and I don't wanna be an a** when I know you'd reply differently were you savvy of that.

THAT IS ALL. Back to glaring at a banner of that bank.

You know, I hope that either I don't win, Link doesn't win, or both- because if somehow I get paired with your Link character, I'll be damned hard pressed not to picture everything he does in CD-i format.

"GREAT! I'll grab my stuff!"

"How about a kiss? FOR LUCK?"

"I can't WAIT to bomb some Dodongos!"

"OH BOY!"

The Haelstrom Fist
Stuff
On the first note I get your point. I was envisioning it a bit different but you are right about where the fist would hit. Although I think that in respect to that, which I believe I did clarify this, Vash also moved his head to the side while ducking to further it away from the fist. I would think that if I had not moved Vash's head to the side then the fist would be in fact on a crash course to Vash's head. However, with the movement to the inside the fist would be just missing his face to his direct left and probbaly leaving a bit of a burn (possibly a bit nasty) while Vash would be able to continue through with his strike without much alteration needed. Do you agree or disagree?

The second minor point of the orb. The orb is being launched litterally into the jaws of the snake from its position. So as it came in towards Vash the orb would be launched at an angle for it to be engulfed.

To the second, Iiii see. Kind of like a "Bouncing Betty," that makes sense and I nod mi'head.

To the former: I'm not entirely convinced unfortunately, just above the waist would be in the general area of Vash's gut [Omi's 5'11'', and you can clarify for me but I don't thinK Vash's height is THAT radically different enough to change the general area of landing.] Even if Vash maneuvered his head out of the way a tad, unless he's doing something akin to a home-run slide which would be impractical in itself, there'd be a connection due to how close they already were. Frankly, it'd be tricky for Vash to lower himself enough for the head and fist to be aligned in time - but presuming he could, it'd slam into one of the shoulders in that posturing. If not, a lower point on the body than the skull given Vash's process of leaning over.

I'm not trying to make this unpleasant man, it's just a really chief point we need to iron out before the match progresses is all. XD

Im not stressing over it. Im just trying to see where our points differ so we can come to the same understanding as to whats going on. But I see what your saying. Jeez.... Its not difficult to edit my post to an acceptable one. Its just that I found the uppercut more epic and a bit less of a hastle to find acceptable charge release for. sweatdrop Well off to editing.

FYI:

Im at work and we have been randomly having rushes and dead time so my edited post may may not come immediatly.

Oh dude, if you're at work, don't even fret about it- wait until you got some definitive downtime and then take care of it. I'm glad YOU'RE THE REASONABLE SORT, I had a mildly similar situation a long time ago with another opponent except with a far more absurd angle, and they blew up on me OOC before being impaled through their skull by a sword.

And it was called "Pendulum Step."

To the former: awesome, I'm glad your manager's awesome like that, but to the latter: work harder.

Now to read Reach and Link's fight to my great chagrin.

[Rubs chin.] Very well. [Cracks fingers.] Play a little GTA: San Andreas real fast to get my dark tendencies practiced up before I post.
