((*gives Seph a sound thrashing for that one.*))
"Mmm...not tonight. It's getting late and I might just be too tired." A careful look let him know that she didn't miss any of his intended meanings.
((Seph-hentai... razz ))

(( Ouch! ))
He smiled before he caught sight of her look. He shook his head. "No, I didn't mean that kinda.. Er.. I was talking about.. I mean. Ah, jeez." His head hung low, both hands still on his mug.

She laughed. "I know, silly." Her expression softened when she saw his look. "I didn't mean that, Seph. I'm sorry."

He looked back up and smiled. There was still evidence of a hard blush on his face as he took another sip. He lay back on his back, the bottom of the mug resting on his chest. It'd be hard to sip like this, but desperate times called for desperate measures. He tried to drink lying down, slowly tilting the mug, so he wasn't caught offguard by the splash of tea. When that didn't work, he tilted his head up and took a sip, wiping the liquid that had splashed across his face away.

"So..." She lowered her voice. "Are we assuming we're safe in the backyard?"

"Actually, we're pretty much safe throughout the clearing, now. Except for a small spot around the front of the Dojo. I was doing some research, and I came across a strange description. Apparently, this fog is a very complex jutsu. It's not intelligent, but it has the programmed need to attack it's target. Once I knew what the jutsu was, I could create seal-tags. I posted them on posts around the perimeter of the clearing, but ran out of tags. The fog won't be able to come into the clearing. And since it's weapons are made of fog, neither will they."

Well that would explain it. I do wonder...but how to go about it?
"Good. It's nice to know you can protect yourself." She grinned at him. "Must be nice being taller." She placed her hand on the ground beside her, watching idly as a small plant grew and bloomed a purple flower. "Though it does make you an easier target for those fog-weapons."

He nodded as he began sitting up. He laughed as he turned his body slightly for leverage, "Yeah, I guess I am easier to pick out in a cro-" His hand fell on top of hers. He froze, moved it, and blushed. "Sorry."

She looked at him, confused. "Sorry about what? Forgetting to finish your sentence?"

He looked at his hand. "Crowd." He said, finishing his sentence. He took a sip of tea, looking up at the sky.

The trees rustled again, quietly. Nyl looked up at them, a bright blush spreading across her face. Stop that. You're plants - what do you know of humans?
She listened to the reply, shaking her head. A hundred years of observation have taught you much, I'll admit. But not everything. And I don't think any of us are entirely human.
Finished with her tea, she set the cup down and stood, stretching. Almost acrobatically - but using her chakra for assistance, of course - she jumped up onto a branch of one of the trees.

He watched her, a smile on his face, then picked up her mug. He shook it, to make sure it was empty, then melted it down. A mug of equal proportions hardened in the cupboard. He took another sip, then repeated the process, a small bubble of tea left floating in the air, supported by a shell of fire. He looked up at her. "Who needs to fly when you can jump like that?" A grin formed on his face.

He nodded softly, aware that it would be wise not to pursue that topic any longer. He walked up the side of the same tree until he was standing perpendicular to her. It had been a while since he'd done this, and he was trying to get used to the angle he was at. "Are the tree's saying anything?"

She listened, trying to pick out the rustlings from the real breeze moving the leaves. "They find you amusing."
