Oh my goodness, I am so excited! I get to play with the upper level band because my level isn't going, and my director wanted to 'beef up' the clarinets!! YAYAYAYA!!!

Cybele -Por Siempre- Hello everyone,
The name's Katherine.
Been playing the clarinet for around five years.
I'm a sophmore in highschool,
And I prefer marching season to concert season.
But I do have a question,
I'm doing solo and ensamble, and I'm looking for a piece,
I was wondering if any of you had any recomendations? one thing u dont want 2 do is play the 'back-up piece' that almost every1 in ur section plays cuz its kinda easy. wit some ppl's luck, they go AFTER all the rest and end up wit a crappy score cuz the judge is sick of it. and it gives them a basis of comparison.

Btw ive been in band playing clarinet 4 four years, im a freshmen @ killeen high, and as fun as marching season is, i hate bus rides. i was originally going 2 play oboe, but u see how that turned out. Santa-i mean Mr Scott wouldnt start beginners on oboe.

Hi guys.. :]
my name's well, Ren_Alastor but you can call me Renny.. my real name is..disclosed ;]
I've been playing Bb Clarinet for a whopping sum of 8 years and I am currently a Senior in a High School located in Hawaii :3
I'm also first seat in Wind Ensemble right now..
I was in marching band but I switched to the Trumpets in my Junior year cuz of the lack of Trumpet Players so I learned how to play Trumpet too..
(Yup, I got the best of both worlds! X3)
Some of the pieces that I think were amazing for the clarinet that I played at middle school and highschool are..
Clarinet Candy (I have a story for this one..Anyone wanna hear it? XD)

I've been playing clarinet since 6th grade, I started a year later than everyone else in my band and yet I'm first chair.

I have played clarinet for about 2 years now im a 7th grader.I did play bass clarinet in the last quarter last year and loved it so i wanted to play it again this year and i asked if i could but the bass clarinet was broken for good.we got an old bass clarinet and my fellow clarinetist took it for an ensemble(it was too old to be used for more than one song a day) so i asked again to play it once we get a knew one and the answer was yes but then the fellow clarinetist asked AFTER me and got it and i have been beating him up with stands ever since. sorry that was long but im ssooooo mad

OMG! I'm new here and everything, and actually kinda' new to the clarinet since... this January. Can't tell anyone my age, but we just had seating arrangements again. And I'm first chair... again. I got a million compliments... but might need to move to Bassoon because of this one Eighth-grader who suggested it. Buahaha! XD

But yea im sophmore in GHS. and ive played clarinet since 6th grade so thats uhmmm i think like 4 or 5 years XD
im not good at math but uhmm... yea
one piece i liked for solo enseamble was aria and menuetto XD
heh.. i know its not a high class solo but thats as high as i can do lol.

Hello fellow Clarineteers! smile I am a 9th grader in High School. Im first chair, first clarinet in my section. This was my first year in marching band and I LUVED IT!!!!! i am most definately gonna do it next year. I played the clarinet for 4 years. i started in 6th grade. But anyways the only thing i have to say is GO CLARINETS!!!!!!

i've played the clarinet 4 3 years now and about 2 enter my freshman year at high school. i'm first chair and always win 1st place in solo contests. even the high school band director said i will b successful in his band nxt year! mrgreen i do need help tho. all my notes r in tune BUT my A natural is always super flat. can any1 help me pweze?

I'm a senior and section leader in the Sudbury Secondary School concert band and I'm in the community band "No Strings Attached" I've been playing clarinet for about 4.5 years now heart

All the awesome people play clarinet! yes we do! hi, i'm a sophomore in high school and i've been playing the clarinet since 5th grade!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay! also, i'm stuck in the loser/freshman band because i moved last year and couldn't audition to get into wind ensemble crying and i'm in second chair!
