Almost as soon as she broke her hug with Ella, there was a voice from behind them that she immediately recognized as belonging to her other best friend Lyric. "Lyric!" She practically tackle hugged him too, smiling brightly. He'd been one of the three to accompany her to her parents' house and he'd been one the friends she'd now been able to visit and hang out with over the summer. "You're not interrupting! Welcome in." She turned back to Ella, beaming happily at her best friends. Ella asked how her summer was and she grinned. Aina, meanwhile, noticed that Ella had been crying and signed, "Ella was crying. Is everything alright Ella?" However, in her excitement, Alice had missed that her cousin was signing to her. Alice grinned and started to ramble about her summer. "Well, I told you about how the confrontation with my parents went and about Aunt Erin and Genie making up a room for me. But also I worked for Uncle Seamus in his greenhouse. Oh and I got to visit Seb a lot at Diagon. Lyric came over and I also visited him at home too. And I saw a bunch of our other friends. It was just so relieving to be able to be myself. I tried a whole bunch of recipes too and I found some I wanna show you too! Oh, like this no bake cookie recipe! It was so tasty." Alice could keep rambling on but she needed to stop and take a deep breath.
Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions I keep my visions to myself It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams And have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Dreams of loneliness

*ੈ✩‧₊˚༺☆༻*ੈ✩‧₊˚Anaís nodded in agreement at Clover's comments that there were too many people in the city. She enjoyed the convenience of most places she'd want to visit were within walking distance but it was superseded by just how crowded it could become. The preteen grinned in return and followed her friend as she chose a cabin and gratefully walked in taking a seat but leaving a large space for Clove to take and have the perfect view of the soon passing landscape.
Anaís couldn't help but giggle a bit as the other girl mentioned that she was still learning the names of places and that it was weird but that she had a map that could hopefully help. She most definitely agreed with that; it was especially annoying when the names were similar or worse, the exact same but the only difference being "123 Avenue A" or "123 Avenue AB" and you'd think they were next door but no! It's like 3 blocks over!
"I completely agree with that. I used to get lost allot whenever I was learning how to go places. I got really lucky that I don't have to use the tube just to go to the library or park." Anaís explained, even giving a fake shudder at the thought. She would've really been in a pickle had she had navigate the underground!
Like a heartbeat drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost And what you had Oh, what you lost
If I'ma be sad, I'ma do it with pizzazz And shake these feelings off my a** They'll find me in some glitter if I crash (Do it wit' pizzazz) 'Cause if the feeling never pass Then at least I flipped this s**t into some cash
🍀☯🌷☮Just as Lyric opened his mouth to answer, he'd been pounced upon by an exuberate Alice. He just laughed and gave her a single spin as he tried to get his equilibrium back from the force of her "attack" before releasing her from the hug. When he turned his attention back to Ella and (gods dammit, he felt bad he'd forgotten the younger girl's name, he knew it started with an A...he was pretty sure it started with an A) Alice's cousin who was signing something that the older girl missed. He was still in the beginning stages of learning BSL since it not only seemed like a handy skill to have but it was also just a good way of being accessible to allot more students at the school.
All that to say, while he didn't know a lot of words, he was pretty sure she had made the sing for "crying," and since Alice was her happy grinning self and he'd just gotten there, Lyric was willing to bet his sour gummy worms that she was talking about Ella. She had turned her face away from them and just seemed...sad? It was more than sad, but he just didn't know how to explain it. He has already made up his mind about as the blonde teen decided to take some much needed breathes making him chuckle from just how hyper she was.
"Easy there Alice, you've got like, six hours to tell us how awesome your summer was." Lyric grinned though, honestly relieved that she had seemed to have the relaxing and enjoyable summer she deserved after all those years of stress and repression. He'd enjoyed actually being able to visit her and hang out like the kids they were, and he knew Eula liked he was acting his age for once. "Mine was pretty good, nothing really exciting happening. What about you, Ella? How was your summer?" he asked as he slipped his hands into his jacket, hoping to bring the brunette our of her self-imposed shell.
Every hour spent in isolation makes it easier to face annihilation (I'ma do it wit' pizzazz) Either you gon' shake or be shaken And I just ain't the type to keep waitin'

xx❀Wʜᴇʀᴇ Aᴍ I?Platform 9¾ xxx❀Wʜᴏ Is Wɪᴛʜ Mᴇ?Alice, Aina, Lyric, and Sebastian xxxx❀Wʜᴀᴛ's Gᴏɪɴɢ Oɴ?Preparing to board for school xxxxx❀Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ?Oh my
As Alice's attention was redirected to Lyric, Ella felt a bit of relief. If they were focused on each other, it would buy her time to continue squishing her emotions way down deep. She looked at Aina as the girl asked if she were okay, shakily responding she was fine. If Aina told the others, they'd definitely clue in. But thankfully, Alice was in way too chipper a mood to notice. She instead began to indulge in her excitement over summer. The blonde had already sent all of this by letter, excitement in every word. Ella's, meanwhile, were clipped and cryptic. She hadn't been able to explain things in a nice, concise method, so she just avoided it all. She hadn't even told anyone she'd gone back to Romania, lest of all everything that happened there.
Ella almost didn't notice the latter half of Alice's ramble, only returning to focus when Lyric's voice interrupted. His explanation of summer was far shorter, but he directed the question back over to Ella, who looked startled to have it sent her way. "Oh... I... um... It was..." she stammered through the words, her dark eyes trying to focus anywhere other than Lyric's gaze. Thankfully for her, salvation came in one particularly pink-haired package. "I'm not late! I'm not late! Hey Lewis! I'm not laaaaaa---!!!" Echoed through the ever loud room, followed by a crash and the screech of a cat. "Oh Sebastian!"
"Oh thank goodness, a distraction." Ella said, adding a sigh of relief before realizing her words. "I-I mean, 'oh thank goodness, Sebastian'?" Yea, those two kinda rhymed. Sebastian was up on his feet and happily heading over, his weary mum in tow. "Hi guys! I made it! Almost barely, but I'm here! Hah!" Oh good, another entirely chipper person. "Sorry we're late. Someone almost forgot to pack.... everything." Kinzlie sighed, looking at her son, who, in his own good graces, had the smarts to look embarrassed about that. Good. Now the group could focus on the Moons and maybe she could slip away into the shadows before anyone noticed?
Okay. Seb was officially running late. It wasn't entirely his fault. He'd forgotten to time out the final day for work, which had led him to suffering through a double shift yesterday, then getting home way too late to be able to pack up. Then when Mama woke him up, they both realized he'd maaaaaaybe not done his packing. Working together, they quickly packed up his clothes, books, quidditch gear, and Zoot's things. They'd had to eat cereal rather frantically in order to make it to King's Cross on time. Thank heavens for instant magical transport? Right?
They'd both practically sprinted onto the platform, causing Seb to trip on his feet and fall rather ungracefully in front of everybody. Zoot had maybe also gotten a tiny bit thrown. But he was fine!! Mama had collected him while Lewis helped Seb up to his feet and magically repaired his glasses. He was also kind (and tall) enough to direct the Moons over toward Alice, Lyric, Aina, and Ella. Once there, they discussed his lateness. "S'okay. We're here, the train's still here. 'Sides, Liss wouldn't let the train forget me. At very least, she'd have called Miss Nora to get me to school."
"Uh-huh. Anyway. You kids have a great year. We'll get together over Winter and do something fun, okay?" She pulled Alice into a hug, followed by Seb. "We'll have great fun! Y'know, studying and doing responsibilities and stuff." Seb cackled when Kinzlie simply sent him a look of disbelief. She did head off, having to head off to help at work. The messy-headed werewolf turned to his friends, making sure to sign this next question since Aina was along. "What were we talking about? What did I miss?"

Clover smiled when Anaís nodded in agreement with her, then smiled even brighter when she giggled at Clover's comment regarding needing a map to learn places. It seemed that she was already opening up so much more than when they'd first gotten together about an hour ago. When the girl mentioned "the tube", Clover tipped her head to the side like a curious doggie. What kind of tube was she talking about? Was it another magical thing that Clover had not heard of yet? They didn't have any tubes at Hogwarts, except for the weird metal ones under the sinks. Clover had been very curious about those and someone had to explain "plumbing" to her. She wanted to ask what the tube was, but she also didn't want to seem like she didn't know the magical world. Oh, her curiosity was killing her! Gah, fine, she'd ask! "I have to know, what is 'the tube'? Is it some magical thing I'm not aware of?" When plumbing had been explained to her by the very confused girl in the bathroom, Clover had learned it was a Muggle invention that wizards had co-opted. This might the same thing? But wizardkind also had floos which used fireplaces, so maybe it was something like that? Oh man, this question was really gnawing at her.

Alice squealed a little when Lyric picked her up and gave her a little twirl, then set her back on the ground. Gosh, she was just so excited to see all her friends again! The blonde simply couldn't stop smiling. She nodded along as Lyric said he summer was good but that nothing interesting happened, then she glanced over to Ella again. Her other best friend seemed a little more distant than usual and that did make her a little concerned. Had she not noticed that before? That was a little bothersome to the blonde, since she was usually the first to notice when her friends were in distress. She started to explain her summer when there was a commotion from the area where the floos where. Blue eyes looked over to that area and she spotted her boyfriend arriving with Momma Kinzlie. "Sebby!" Alice squealed, then reached out to squeeze Ella's hand before rushing over to greet him. When Alice raced over to greet Seb, Aina glared at her cousin as she ran off. Did no one see her signing?! Did Alice forget that Aina's ears were turned off and she couldn't participate in the conversation. Sighing heavily, Aina stepped over to the the girl and signed slowly, "Is everything alright Ella? I noticed you were crying when we got here." Hopefully Ella's signing had improved enough that she was able to communicate with her. Everyone was talking too fast for Aina to read lips and she could feel the vibrations from the platform enough to know it'd be too loud. Alice was happy to receive a hug from Momma Kinzlie, then walked the few steps back to their friends with Seb's hand in hers. When he signed as well as spoke his question, Alice hummed happily. "We were talking about summer break. Ella was just starting to talk about hers, I think." She reclaimed Seb's hand and happily held it in her own.
