Riley's eyes went wide in a look of 'TMI!!!', for he could have gone his whole life knowing that these vampires were such nymphos that incest was an option.

"V'kul is the celebration for the first snow of winter," he said with a smile. "You leave each other presents in secret places. And Atius came around to bother us and flirt with my mother, Val, and then he was beginning to look at Angel, which was when Val started breaking parts of his body. He would have suffered a broken spine and then neck, had my father not intervened."

"Ha! That sounds like Atius, and an appropriate punishment if you ask me. Though it kinda sounds like Christmas with the presents and what not." Riley said with a smile at the thought of adding another gift-giving holiday to the calender now that he was with Angel.

It's actually a big deal, the first feeding. Most feeder colonies," and he let his disgusted tone show how he felt about those colonies, "give the option of throwing a party for a newling's Zoamet." He smiled slightly. "Coincidentally, Angel's is on the summer solstice, another holiday, called Ty'lun. We're a little gift-happy."
