I've actually studied quite a few styles personally. Taekwondo, Karate, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Hapkido (My Favorite), and Pi Qua Quan.

@Hinote - Well, that's most fighting styles. Yet Aikido is primarily defense and using the opponents momentum and strength against them with minimal effort and movement from the user itself.
This is true, but what is the reason for using their own attacks against them? To throw off their guard and create an opening. Hence, exactly what I said.
Aikido is probably the closest real world equivalent to my RP fighting style you can come up with. I use a few different fighting styles, but dodge and counter is my primary.

Oh!! And I forgot Muay Thai!! That is actually one of my favorites. I actually can now take some serious force against my legs and arms because of the required conditioning.

oooh I've heard of Pi Que Quan but I've never found a school and I haven't been able to travel as much as I used to. But I've studied in Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Jui-Jitsu Japanese and Brazilian, Capoeira, Tang Su Do, Taichi, several Kung-Fu styles my favorite is Southern Dragon, I've trained in nnjutsu both traditional and modern, Greco roman wrestling, and several weapons on top of my Marine Corps Basic training and Scout Sniper Training. Ok now I am bragging sweatdrop and I really shouldn't.

Lol!!! Well Pi Qua Quan is quite complex. Not as much muscle is used in striking, but it is flowing movements using momentum that hit hard and shatter bones if done correctly. Instead of snapping a punch, the strikes just plow into the target's body and hit them with maximum force.

I have like... no martial arts experience. D: I tried a little of Tong Su Do, but that class didn't last long since my parents lost faith in it. All the fighting I know now is just random ideas that pop into my head. Favorite though, is Aikido as it seems, since I love using momentum against people.

I never did too many fighting styles, but I have studied Shaolin, basic Aikido (as in so basic that it probably doesnt deserve to go here), wrestling, Boxing (my best one), Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, and the first stage of mantis style kung fu. I really should get into it again, especially since I know a master of four of those style who goes to my gym.

I'm not good at fighting. I poke it when I need to though. I hurt a lot of people by just poking them. I made so many people cry twisted .
