Sam looked wide eyed at Nessie. "Nothing legal? What happened up there Nessie? Did it involve Daddy?" Sam had already come to the conclusion in his mind that she would call him this, since she always like that -y sound at the end of names. Hence Sammy, Nessie, and Ty was as close as she could get for her brother.

Nessa nodded. "Yeah. I don't think she's so much mad at him as... well, I'll let her tell you. Right now, she's a bit pissed. A lot pissed, actually..." she muttered, biting her lip.

Ever smiled to random people as she descended the stairs. She had her glow necklace on and she was ready to go back to that bouncy inflatable wall!
Halfway down the steps, she glanced out over the dance floor to see if she could spot Akira. She didn't find her, though, after looking for a few moments. She sighed and shrugged. Well that sucked, but she could search for her later. Maybe she could meet her out back and they could bounce together.
She was about to turn her head back when her eyes caught a sight that instantly made her do a double take, definitely not believing that she just saw what she thought she saw.
But sure enough, there were Aphrodite and Ares. Aphrodite was in Ares' embrace and they were... were...
They were kissing.
Her heart dropped into her stomach and she gripped the banister tightly. She couldn't seem to tear her eyes away from the horrible sight.
She had been right. She had been right the entire damn time. She felt a sick sort of satisfaction.

Rrine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gviu6M95EoM This is SO their song. LOL.) Aphrodite, like so many familiar times before this, melted in his arms. She looked up to him, her cheeks flushed in an endearing way. In a corny manner, everything else around her seemed to slow. She brought her hands to either side of his face, and though she knew it was a complete and utter no-no, she pressed her lips to Ares'.(Sorry! I accidentally deleted this on the previous page D: )

Ares had almost--almost--not realized that something was wrong. But he pulled back when he felt an angry presence, one that was so familiar, and he looked over and saw Evermore. But he didn't know why she was angry. Why would she be angry at him for this, when he'd done nothing? And he knew, so well, that she was angry at him, and not just angry at Aphrodite. So he scowled at her.
She should be more observant.

Aphrodite followed Ares' gaze, and saw a shocked Evermore looking at them. The poor girl looked like a deer in the headlights. Oddly enough, she felt no remorse. Aphrodite would not apologize for who she was, nor for her actions. Her gaze towards Evermore was cool, calm, and level. There was only compassion for the girl.

Musica finally found his way to the staircase and began his descent down into the main dance area. His head was still pounding, but he felt normal nonetheless. After a couple of turns on the stairs he saw Evermore looking down on to the dance floor, stock still and unmoving. Musica walked up behind her and stood still as well, hands in his pockets. "What's the matter Miss Evermore? The party not to your liking?" He didn't smile this time, not until he knew the condition of this girl that had unfortunately been placed under his charge.

Tyler scoffed, not exactly surprised. He'd worried about this, but was shocked to hear it wasn't their father she was mad at. It was someone else. "Doesn't surprise me, the man's nothing more than a regular player. Why would she not be mad at him? He's the one she's crushing real hard on."

Ever clenched the banister even more tightly when she heard a voice behind her. The voice of someone she really didn't want to deal with right now.
Her voice was dangerously low when she responded. "I thought you were in bed sleeping."

After Ari had ditched Vanessa and the others, she had wormed her way through the crowd until she was good and lost among the people. She would occasionally sweep the crowd, making sure no one from Bai Ching had followed. She didn't want to talk, for once.
Upon on of her sweeps, her eyes alighted upon the staircase where she saw Musica, and Evermore. She started to feel angry all over again when she noticed the expression on her face. Looking in the general direction of the look, she saw Ares and Aphrodite kissing. Ari felt her anger abate, and she smiled. Karma was a b***h.

Nessa shrugged. "I'm guessing she sees it more like a betrayal on Evermore's part. She is... (was?), her friend, and she saw Evermore with him. I think that hurts worse than Musica hooking up with her. Ari places a high value on friends and loyalty, and I think it just yanks her chain that she would NEVER hurt Evermore like that, but Evermore hurt her. Plus, your Dad looked drunk out of his mind. She probably thinks Ever was taking advantage of that. It's a girl thing... or moreso an Ari thing," she said with a shrug.

Akira had thanked Evermore for the money and had gone back to the stand, buying tones more glowyness, before turning her attention to the stairs, the only thing high enough that she could see though the crowd of dancers.
She blinked in surprise when she swore she saw Ari run down, looking mighty pissed off and hurt. Had something happened up there with that crazy and apparently drunk Demi-God?
Before Akira could catch up to the fuming Ari, however, she heard a voice behind her that chilled her to the bone, freezing her in place.
"Hey puppylove, remember me? Funny seeing YOU here of all the places....Perfect timing though..." Dean whispered in her ear, wrapping an arm around her waist, and continuing when she didn't move, but tensed instead, "Don't you know? Soon, everybody here will separate into different rooms to do many many things...Exciting things, getting it? of course you do, you can smell the lust all over the place! My guys are all over the place here, remember them? It'll be just like last time....What a fuuun memory, huh?" He chuckled softly when she let out a small whimper, loosing herself to the horrible memories that clouded her mind at his poisonous words.
After a moment however, Akira cursed herself for being so weak, giving in so easily...That wasn't her anymore. She wasn't the scared little puppy she'd been back then, the night they'd drugged and kidnapped her...
She pushed him off and turned to him, glaring.
"Leave me the hell alone, Dean! You will NEVER get me again or EVER do s**t like that to me again, got it!? Just back OFF"
Dean seemed a little startled by her outburst, before laughing and saying, "Wooowww, puppy's turned into a fighter, huh? Guess whatever school you went too did good for you...But you can't run or escape me forever, Akira...Your my puppy, as i'm your wolf....Oh? About to claw the hell out of me? Do you rreeaalllyyy want everybody here to see what kind of demonic monster you've become, puppylove?"
Akira let her hand fall, glaring at him more. If only looks could kill....But he was right, she wouldn't do that...Especially after the screw up with Tyler.
Instead, she smiled darkly and said, "No, Dean, your right. I won't...buuuttt i will GLADLY do this!"
A loud SMACK sound could be heard over the music and laughter as Dean fell on his a**, his cheek stinging a terribly deep red from the slap she'd given him.
"b***h!!!! You'll regret this!!!" he spat at her, rubbing his cheek angrily, though he had to admit, she'd grown a back bone...Damn.
"Are you kidding me? I've been wanting to do that ever since you screwed up my life ya damn b*****d!! I'm not alone, so if you know what's best for you, you better get the hell out of my sight, understood!" with that said, she kicked him right in the stomach and marched off, finding the stairs. Once there, she sat down heavily and started taking deep, deep breaths, trying to calm her racing heartbeat.
Akira was so out of it at the moment, shaking slightly, and very pale from the strain of fighting back the hunting memories that refused to back down completely, that she was absolutely oblivious to everybody around her.
