Umemi looked around her Okiya and sighed, she was sad yet happy at the same time that one of her girls have graduated. She walked through to where she heard voices and smiled "girls, I am sorry for the delay on the celebrations but we must start organizing for them now"

Kiyo stepped inside the doorway, shivering from the cold. She slipped off her shoes and donned slippers, looking around her new home

Umemi thought that it was time for a meeting, so being the okiyas mother she thought that it would be of course part of her duty to call the girls to attention. She smiled to herself and headed to the main lounge where it was comfortable with seat cushions and lots of cane furniture. "Ladies" she called out "meeting time please" she said loudly enough for her voice to carry through the okiya.

After sitting with her new little sister....on the bed and talking....Hara heard....Mother call from the main room...and then looking at her sister gave a soft smile....and said "We must head down stairs....Hara stood and started to walk from her room down the stairs to the main room....where Mother was.....making her way down into the room....Hara gave a deep respectful bow....being one of the new Geisha in this Okiya....and taking on new sisters......Hara wanted to make mother proud......still bowing Hara said "Good afternoon Mother......How may I help you...... before looking at mother Hara gazed out of the conner of her eye....to make sure her new little sister..... was bowing respectfully.....and then she turned her gaze back and gave mother a kind smile.

Yuri Followed Hara downstairs to where the meeting with the okiya mother was being held.
She stood behind her older sister and bowed respectfully to oka-san,

Tohru sighed and looked to the sky, putting her book aside. She watched clouds make shapes as she let her thoughts roam.
'I wonder what Haruki is doing...I miss him so badly...but he can't come here until I'm a geisha, and he becomes my dana. I wish I could see him...'

Tora heard mother call out to everyone. She stood from the table and followed her voice. Tora entered the room and bowed. "Yes, Mother?" she asked, smiling.

She placed the tea and soup on the kitchen table and followed after Tora, like a puppy at the heels of its owner. Anata gently reached out and grabbed a hold of Tora's obi. She peered from behind Tora to see what was going to happen. Was she going to be kicked out of another home?
"Miss Tora, what is going on?" Ana asked wide eyed in a hushed whisper. *23*

Tora smiled and giggled at Ana's curiosity and timidness. "Nothing, sweet. Mother's just called a meeting is all," she said with a kind, reassuring smile. Tora placed a warm arm around Ana to comfort her.

Umemi paused and looked at the expectant faces "come, let us be comfortable and sit in the public lounge" she said before starting the meeting that had been so delayed already. "Well I wanted to talk to you all about the celebration that we are going to have for our graduating girl" she smiled

Tora looked over to Hara and smiled. "Yes," she spoke, "she deserves it." Tora placed a loving hand on Hara's shoulder and squeezed gently. "You've made me proud," she smiled. "And already hard at work as a Geisha," Tora winked. "What, taking on two little sisters and all," she giggled.

"I know you will," Tora smiled. She stood and prepared tea for everyone at the meeting. Placing cups infront of everyone, she walked around the table and filled the cups.
