Out of the bathroom Robin had a small, if somewhat sad, smile on her face as she walked back up to the counter. The Chansey behind the counter smiled at her and bowed her head slightly at Robin as the machine beeped. At the sound of the beep Luffy jumped off of the counter and landed at her side. The little Aipom just looked up at her with the smile on his face, for some reason that didn't cheer Robin up like it usually did. Sighing she felt her smile wilt a little before she forced it back on her face, she didn't want Luffy to know she was upset. Still she didn't really know what to do at the moment, Sarah and Jayme were still at the contest and so was Misty so she couldn't challenge, she wasn't really feeling that anymore though. Sighing she made her way over to a couch before she could sit down though she heard her name being called.

"Hey Robin where did you go?" Came Sarah's voice as she walked into the Pokemon Center with a beaming Jayme.

"Yeah you missed my win."

"Huh, you barely beat me and you know it. Anyway Robin we need you come on." Sarah looked a bit grumpy about losing. Giving a sharp wave with her hand for her to follow them outside.

"It looks like its going to rain though." Robin said worriedly as she got up to follow the other two out. At her side Luffy frowned slightly, he liked the rain but his Nakama didn't seem to want to go out. Still she was following the two though and so he would follow her.

Jayme just rolled her eyes at Robin's comment now that they were outside. "Oh come on Robin, why do you think we need you? We need you to carry our stuff. We are going to Pewter to get this runner up her own ribbon." The short haired red head said that like it was obvious and Robin was just stupid for even questioning them.

Shoulders slumping Robin kicked the dirt slightly with her toe and looked off to the side not at the other girls faces. "Why do I have to carry your stuff though? Can't you carry it?" Oh god she couldn't believe she had just said that! Who did she think she was? The two girls were he friends and she shouldn't talk back to them like that. At her feet though Luffy looked proud of his trainer, he was glad she was sticking up for herself!

At Robins comment the two girls exchanged looks. Putting her stuff on the ground Sarah leaned back somewhat and crossed her arms over her chest. "Who the hell do you think you are to tell us to do something? We have been trainers much longer then you have so you should carry our stuff."

Jayme just nodded in agreement and smirked at Robin. "Besides from what we have seen you are pathetic as a trainer anyway. You can't control your pokemon and just seem to fail at everything you do."

"Okay, we've got the bigger threat out of the way," Nina commented. "Sakura, I want you to use a Mega Drain attack on that Dugtrio!" Weighing her options, Whitney opted to test her luck again. "Clefairy, I want you to use another Metronome! Let's see what this gets us this time!" Maorde contemplated for a moment, ignoring his slumbering Charizard. "Dugtrio, let's test our luck! Magnitude!"

As Clefairy prepared her attack, she knew that the Dugtrio was the one who would strike first out of the three active Pokemon on the field. She also knew that Sakura was hurt badly, and the only chance she had of surviving was landing that Mega Drain. If only she could somehow protect her teammate from the attack...

...It was worth a try. She flapped her wings with a tremendous force and shot over to her partner, swooping up the smaller Bellossom and fluttering a few feet in the air,
Dugtrio's Ground-type attack failing. Nina and Whitney looked on, almost in shock; they cheered for their Pokemon a moment later.
"Oh, awesome, Clefairy! I never thought you'd be able to do that!"

"Sakura, launch your Mega Drain while you've got the chance! Don't let this moment get away!"

Clefairy chirped to her partner, who nodded in response. Helping to launch Sakura into the air, the Bellossom performed a couple of midair somersaults, unleashing her Mega Drain attack in the meantime. She dealt some damage to Dugtrio and recovered a good portion of her health back by the time she landed gracefully on the ground.

Clefairy, meanwhile, had since landed back on the ground, rather proud of herself. She resumed her Metronome; within a few moments, her body began to glow a bright green. She closed her eyes and concentrated... Another second or two had passed, before five or six enormous vines erupted upwards from the ground, rushing toward Dugtrio, lashing out and striking the Pokemon viciously.

This was Frenzy Plant.

Dugtrio's heads popped up and down in the ground rapidly, in their attempts to dodge the vines, but they did end up failing. After being struck repeatedly, they were bound in the vines and squeezed terrifically, before finally being let go of. It didn't matter, however, as that attack was enough to be their end. An exhausted Clefairy sat down and rested, while Maorde looked on in surprise for a moment, before recalling Dugtrio. "That was pure luck," he commented. "You're going to need more than that to beat my next Pokemon... heh. Taffy! Go!" Maorde's Metagross appeared on the field, stamping its feet and roaring ferociously.

"Intimidating," Whitney commented sarcastically. She looked to her Clefairy who was still recovering from Frenzy Plant, and had an idea. Fumbling around in her bag, she pulled out a small item, tossing it to her Pokemon. With a cute smile, Clefairy picked the item up.

Her body began glowing a bright white, and her form began to change. She grew. Her wingspan was larger, and she sprouted lengthy ears to match. When the light faded, a Clefable stood where the Clefairy sat. She was recharged and ready to go.

Whitney grinned, while Maorde grew angry. "That's not fair!" he hollered, visibly irritated. Nina laughed. "Fair?!" she asked. "You're one to be commenting about what's fair or not, you jerk. If you can't take it, though, that's understandable."

Sabrina giggled softly to herself, standing in the background, her gaze remaining unbroken.

As the two girls talked Robin couldn't help but feel that they were right, she was pathetic. She couldn't control her pokemon even if she wanted to, she just couldn't do anything right. With out even realizing it she had fallen rather painfully to her knee's. She could feel tears pricking her eyes again, sniffling slightly she tried to hold them back, for Luffy's sake, she knew he would be disappointed in her. Robin couldn't even really speak up in defense of her self, instead she just stared at the other two girls with wide blue eyes.

Next to her Luffy looked back startled, why wasn't she saying anything? Why wasn't she defending herself? She wasn't pathetic, he knew she wasn't, he knew she was strong she just didn't have the confidence all the time. "Am?" He laid his tail on her back and looked down at her with worried eyes, he didn't like this.

"Oh wow this is just a new level of pathetic Robin. I mean everyone always knew you were practically worthless but geez. You can't even stand up to that little insult?" Jayme said with a bit of disbelief in an unkind tone.

"Oh don't be so surprised. I mean she hasn't changed at all since school. The stupid s**t doesn't even realize she has no friends, well no human friends, and I am just guessing that her pokemon feels sorry for her. I personally feel sorry for it, stuck with a dumb otaku like her, I think I would rather kill myself then spend that much time with her." Sarah's cold and uncaring voice was tinged with disgust as she looked down at Robin.

The two's words cut in deep and now Robin really couldn't help the sobs that were coming from her. Her shoulders shook as she just let the floodgates down. They were right, deep down she supposed she knew that they didn't really like her. It was probably obvious to anyone with eyes but Robin had been hoping so hard that they had meant it, or that they could grow to like her. God she was so pathetic, she had no friends, all she had was pity from people who spent time with her. Everyone from the beach party had probably been laughing at her behind her back, it must have been some huge joke and she had bought it. She was so stupid, they were right she was a worthless piece of trash.

Now Luffy was getting really concerned, and when he got concerned he got angry. How dare they say such things about his Nakama? They didn't know Robin and they certainly didn't know him. Growling somewhat he held himself back from going after them. They just weren't worth it. He didn't notice as he tail hand slipped from her back and it was clenched in anger behind him.

"Oh look even your supposedly most loyal pokemon doesn't like you anymore. Heh you can't even get your pokemon to stay with you when you are crying. At your most desperate moment your most faithful partner sees how pathetic you are and doesn't like what he sees." Jayme laughed slightly at the end. She had mistaken Luffy's anger at them for anger at Robin. You couldn't blame her though, a lot of people got mad at the girl for being so stupidly pathetic.

"Haha you are so right, I don't blame him for not liking what he see's, I mean its not like she is good to look at." Sarah flipped her hair a little at that and the two shared a laugh.

Riza raised an eyebrow at Crenu's....outburst, if one could call it that, anyway, and she crossed her arms. "Fine, go then!" she grumbled, turning her back on him. She didn't know why he was getting so bent out of shape, she hadn't even accepted Keegan's lunch invitation. 'I never would have figured Crenu to be the jealous type,' she thought, shaking her head. 'He didn't even try to step in or anything. I thought for a while there he actually liked me...but I guess he only likes power. And he called Snorunt weak.' Riza thought with a sigh, and she hung her head a little. She'd been looking forward to traveling around with Crenu and learning more about gym battles, but now that he was leaving she didn't know what she'd be doing.

She snapped out of her thoughts and looked over at Keegan. "Yeah, I guess lunch would be fine," she said, shrugging. "But first I have to go back to the pokecenter and get my Pokemon back." Without another word or glance the raven haired girl motioned for Keegan to follow her and was walking back into the red roofed building, very much ready to get her three Pokemon back. She stepped through the sliding doors and walked straight over to the counter where her three pokeballs were waiting for her. Once they were back in her possession she looked over at the red head. "Aren't you going to get your seal thing healed?"

Kasiya uttered a little "urf" as she was pulled into a hug by Mike's mom, though the gestured did help to calm her down some. She didn't know what, but there was something about parents that gave them the magical ability to make things seem not so bad, no matter what was wrong. Kasiya smiled weakly, looking over at Seto as Proton gave the Persian his version of a 'hug', a little surprised to see the feline just grin toothily and purr in response, even though the Magneton's naturally occurring static electricity was causing the Persian's fur to stand on end in some places. "It's good to see you too, Proton," Kasiya giggled, looking back to Karen. "I've known him since he was a Magnemite," she said, smiling a bit at the memories, and again when Mrs Kyoka apologized.

"I'm the one who should be sorry," she said softly, not sure if it was loud enough for anyone to hear. Kasiya did recognize that nervous little grin and chuckle coming from the woman, and she couldn't help but grin impishly herself. It was the exact same look Mike got in his eyes whenever he was about to rush off and do something reckless like rescuing a friend from the clutches of Team Rocket and such. It must run in the family, she thought, deciding not to push the matter any further. "Well, uh, you know. If there's anything I can do for you I'd be glad to help," she said with a curt nod. "Like say a get you a cup of coffee or a snack or something, or if you need someone to play lookout or distract a security guard or three." It was quite obvious by the girl's determined expression and tone of voice that she wasn't going anywhere until she'd helped in some way or another. Out of all the times Mike's come to my rescue, the least I can do for him is help get him out of this place. The resourceful girl grinned up at Karen again. "So, anything you can think of?"

Jaeshan arrived at the port relatively quickly, stopping and having a good look around the area before he went and picked up his ticket. There was some time before the ferry would be leaving for Dewford so Jaeshan sat down and took out his PokeDex, intent on scrolling through and reading up on his own Pokemon's potential new abilities. Mightyena had a few very interesting new moves very befitting of the Dark-type, though as Jaeshan looked them over he came to realize that they would be very situational to use. Butterfree also had a few interesting new moves at her disposal, as did Nidoking and Victreebel. "Zen Headbutt," he said aloud, once he'd reached Shelgon's entry, and he smiled. "So that's what that strange attack was. Heh, sweet." He read over the last two Pokemon in his party and put the device away, leaning back on the bench and looking up at the sky. He hoped it wouldn't be too long before the ferry arrived, for he really wanted to get out of this place.

Junko looked up from the handiwork she had done to her nail as a loud 'Bing Bong' sounded through the room. The nurse motioned to the young girl as she placed the tray onto the counter with a quit clank. That was rather quick she thought, using her foot to push her weight away from the window. Well, there weren't any lines and she was the proud owner of only one Pokemon. That would soon change however.

"Thanks a lot Nurse Joy!" Junko said gleefully as she snatched her lone pokeball from the tray. She immediately released her partner, knowing his animosity for the devices, and returned the ball to her belt.

"Yomaa!" Hades cried in excitement to see his friend again. He quickly threw his ghostly arms around her neck and swung himself around to hang off of her back. Suddenly recalling the events that had passed a good 30 minutes before he uttered a quiet, "yuuuooo" to apologize for the loss.

"It's alright Hades, don't worry about it." she assured her ghost, giving him a pat on the head. "There'll always be room for improvement, and I think you did great. Now, let's push the past from our minds and go capture our first Pokemon!" She exclaimed as if Hades would equally own the new capture.

"Thanks again Nurse Joy!" the purple clad girl yelled behind her as she quickly rushed out of the center, almost mowing down a poor boy on her way out.

"The kids sure do get a little over-excited these days..." the nurse murmured to herself, leaning on the counter with her chin in her hand.

Oh, I see how it is, Keegan thought with a devious smirk, wiping his bloody hand against his already ruined blue jeans. A part of him wished he'd saved that punch for this guy's face and not that poor, helpless tree but he just chuckled and shook his head. Being called a 'dumbass' was probably the weakest insult he'd received in quite some time, especially after yesterday's events. "You know, jealousy isn't a very attractive trait either," he called after Crenu, laughing wickedly. He sure tried hard to act the part of the big, stoic tough guy, but he certainly seemed to be pretty sore because of someone moving in on his woman. And the unlikable p***k gets the girl, at least for now, the redhead thought, now following Riza towards the Pokemon Center. That guy wasn't even willing to fight for her, how pathetic. Those thoughts, however, did remind him of his own losses, namely losing Kasiya to Mike, and as much as it pained him to think about the blonde girl he stuck by the statement he'd made yesterday - those two deserved each other for all the sneaking, conniving and lying they'd done. I bet I'm the furthest thing from her mind right now...

Keegan entered the Pokemon Center after Riza did, stretching carefully. "She's a Sealeo, not a seal-thing. And yes, I am going to get her healed," he replied calmly, trying to keep the sarcasm out of his voice. To prove his point, he sauntered up to the front desk and handed Shiva's Pokeball to the nurse. "See?"

"Oh, you must be Keegan," the nurse said cheerfully as she accepted the sphere. "I have something for you, just you wait here a moment." Keegan could only stare blankly as she set Shiva's Pokeball in the healing machine and opened a drawer, humming to herself. "Here you go," she said brightly, handing the HM case to Keegan. "The guy who gave you this said to remember that you still have friends out there, and that you shouldn't forget that. Tall fellow, blonde hair. Quite good-looking if you ask me," she added with a giggle, now tending to Shiva.

"This is... the HM for Fly," Keegan said, turning the disc case over in his hands a few times and he smiled. "Thanks, Jae." So far his birthday was turning out better than he'd imagined it to be.

No other trainer would have taken the loss of one of their Pokemon so nonchalantly, however, Annie was different. It was business and it was nothing new. She'd given Connor, among others, several Pokemon as payment for information before. A Dragonair, a Zangoose, a Monferno, a Slowking, you name it and she's probably had one in her posession at one time or another. Annie had always been known for her captures and trades, battling wasn't her stronger points, though she could plow over you in a second if you didn't know who you were dealing with.

"I suppose I should find out which port they're stopping at," Annie muttered, running a hand through her raven locks. "Time to go Fearow!" The bird appeared in a magnificent flash of red light only to take off moments later with her master above him and the wind under. "Off to Canlava Fearow," she commanded, a business like look on her face.

When she felt Luffy move away from her and the two's comments about it she let out a loud wail. She had lost Luffy, her most trusted friend and he was gone, he didn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. She didn't blame him really, he wouldn't fight for anyone he didn't respect, or someone who wouldn't fight for themselves. Robin was doing either, there was nothing to fight against, every word they said was true, she was nothing but a worthless useless trainer, no she wasn't even worth the title of trainer.

"Aww I think that really hurt the little doormats feelings." Jayme giggled somewhat faux whispering to Sarah, it was loud enough for Robin to hear even over her sobs, which got louder at the comment.

"That is what you are you know, a doormat. You let everyone walk all over you, you have no spine. You are like a slug, you even look like one to." At Sarah's comment both her and Jayme just burst into laughter at the thought.

On the ground Robin felt just miserable, she was at the lowest of the lows. Her best, and only, friend had abandoned her. Sarah and Jayme had torn down what little confidence she had been building up was just shattered and on the ground at her feet. If it had been a glass pane she would be feeling the thousands of shards digging into her, her confidence was so shattered.

That was it for Luffy though, he was done hearing about this from the other two. He could only take so much insulting of his Nakama, they could insult him all they wanted but no one made his Nakama cry and got away with it. Stepping out in front of Robin Luffy adopted a battle stance, if the other two didn't send out their pokemon then he would just have to attack them.

When the two finally stopped laughing they looked out at the serious looking Aipom ready to battle them the two trainers just started laughing again. "Hey I think we were wrong, I thought this Aipom was smarter then this, instead he is standing up for the little slug!"

"Ha! He thinks he can beat us. Well we can sure show him a lesson!" Both of them nodded and sent out their pokemon.

"Well aren't you sweet?" remarked Karen, now noticing Proton's gleefully erratic buzzing towards the new girl's presence. "You know," she changed the subject briefly. "I've heard rumors that over in Sinnoh that there's a special place where large groups of Magneton congregate. They say something strange happens to them, but most of the in depth articles are locked down until the region is opened up to the public." The scientist within her let out a mournful sigh. "But now that you mention it, a coffee would be really nice about no-"

"-or if you need someone to play lookout or distract a security guard or three." Kasiya suggested with a coy smile.
Karen let out a hearty (in her case high pitched and grating) laugh at the new girl's suggestion. I guess she really did know her boy. "I'm that transparent huh?" she laughed, somewhat nervously, still not too keen on her knowing what she was up to. "Just so you know, honey," she began, pulling the blond in close. "I really do appreciate you wanting to help my baby out, but I came here prepared. I have machines and toys that could spring my baby no problem, not to mention access to all his Pokemon." she held up her son's backpack with almost sinister glee. Nothing would be more poetic than busting out her son with his own Pokemon. "It's not that I don't want your help, I just don't need it. Then again, I wasn't expecting that Mazarin boy to be here." She looked around to see if anyone was listening in. Nope. "But if you're as stubborn as my baby, I figure you're going to try to help anyway. I bet that winged brat is still lurking around here, I want you to make sure he doesn't get in my Mikey's way." She looked in the girl's eyes. "But after the initial confusion, you get out of here. I don't want you getting hurt." Karen stood up and entered the elevator, having kept it open with her foot the whole time. Proton hurried in after, jerking his magnets back and forth good-bye.

"You be careful." she said as the doors closed.

As Crenu walked he heard the red haired guy call out to him. Jealousy wasn't an attractive trait? Self mutilation was so much better...wait what the hell did he care about being attractive? But the way he laughed gave Crenu the impression that he felt like he had won something, which did piss him off a little. He had the dark thought of going back to see just how much of a bleeder the red head was, but he looked like a gentle breeze would knock him over and petty brutality because of an overcompensating laugh was beneath Crenu. s**t, why was he dwelling on this anyway? Because I actually enjoyed Riza's company... No, that wasn't true. She was just another trainer, you could have cut and pasted any random person into those scenarios and the same things would have happened. Taking the Ekan's attack was just an act of personal justice, fishing was something he enjoyed, anything more was simply situational. He would have left after any lunch invitation, extended to him or not, there was absolutely nothing about his actions that had anything to do with Riza and her boyfriend being the people involved. That flare up back there was simply because...because he hated stupidity and slamming your first into a tree for any reason was just that. Still, the raven haired girl in the black and white was undeniably...Interesting.

Trying to get his mind off of what he was adamantly denying to be heart ache, Crenu spotted the blue roof of the pokemart and went inside. He needed some supplies, a TM for Snorunt so she'd be less pathetic. He took a look at the list of TM's for sale, they were quite expensive. But regardless, he found two that caught his eye. But his wallet was a little thin to pay for both, so he settled on the more interesting of the two. Snorunt would have to wait until he won his gym battle to get her TM. "TM 10." Putting the 2,000 on the counter he took the disk from the clerk and put it in his bag. Leaving the store he found a good spot and released Ariados. "You're turn for a present. Learn to make good use of this technique." Ariados was delighted to hear she was getting something from her trainer, not fully understanding what he meant. Before she knew it there was a disk against her head that began to glow, shattering apart when it had passed on it's knowledge. Ariados shook her head wildly as the information of a strange new attack entered her brain, but then grew happy when she realized he had given her a new attack. Before she could show her appreciation though she was whisked back into her pokeball and Crenu was on his way. Before long he did indeed reach the harbor, the smell of the sea and the wind strong. In the near distance he could see the ferry coming in. A pleasant chime echoed from a loud speaker as a tired old voice spoke. "Next Ferry to Dewford will begin boarding in a few. Enjoy."

The Granbull looked rather satisfied with himself upon getting in that hit, and Blanca's face mirrored the sentiment. As silly and shallow as she tended to be on the exterior, when she got heated up, she sure got heated up! Her complacent smile, however, pulled downwards a moment later as if little weights had suddenly attached themselves to the corners of her lips; that Sand-Attack had gotten her Pokemon square in the eyes, causing it to go near-blind at the time. "Don't bother thrashing around like that, you won't hit 'er!" Blanca instructed, crossing her arms. "Scary Face!" The purple Pokemon dropped his flailing arms and shot a ferocious, awful look in some general direction, the effect magnified by his blood-shot eyes and the tears running down.

They landed gently somewhere in southern Lilycove, catching the idle eyes of a few by-standers; banana dinosaurs flying around weren't exactly normal protocol after all. "And here... is our future conditioning center!" Sae said after helping his sister down, sweeping an arm towards the building behind him. The modestly large, gray, and dead-looking place seemed to stick out like a sore thumb from its happy, petite neighbors -- the street was filled with pretty little boutiques. "Well, yeah, we haven't exactly started remodeling the place," Sae laughed sheepishly, scratching his head. "But it'll be gorgeous when it's fixed up! And the second floor's perfect for the two of us."

The three entered after Rein recalled her grand ol' Tropius; the going inside was slow, mostly because it was pitch-black and they had to be careful of rusty nails on the ground. Only when they got to the stairs was Rein able to find a light to switch on, and so they clambered up without fear of tripping over one another.

The landing was roomy, but its spaciousness made its lack of furniture even more conspicuous. But to its credit, it had expansive glass windows on two sides of the main room, rewarding them all with a beautiful view of the shopping district and the ocean over the cliffs; the windows must have been the kind that only saw out since M.A. couldn't tell they were windows from the outside. On a couch in the middle of the main room was a close friend of Saebum, who had fallen asleep to the sound of the little portable TV. He jerked awake, however, when he heard their footsteps.

"How was your trip?" he asked sleepily, noting M.A.'s presence with a acknowledging nod; M.A. returned the favor, having seen him a few times with her brother.

Rein shrugged. "So-so. Thanks for staying over and watching over the little bugger for us, Cole; we owe you one."

"No, not at all. Drank the last bottle of beer in your fridge. Kid didn't give me any trouble at all, seeing that it's still in its egg."

Sae chuckled, smacked the guy's shoulder, and with that the man left, saying that he ought to get going for now.

"What'd he watch over?" M.A.'s voice interjected now.

Rein's eyes lit up, like she just thought of something. "Say, M.A., do you like Tropius?"

"Yeah, they're pretty sweet." Flying dinosaurs with palm trees and a never-ending food supply. "Why?"

"Rein, you're not thinking..." Sae interrupted, frowning now.

"Why not? It's made no progress in weeks now, and maybe --"

"But M.A. --"

"What, I think she can handle it," Rein said, casting a pointed look at M.A., who was more or less confused and uncomfortable due to the lovers' little argument.

Sae sighed, paused for a moment. "Let's discuss this later," he said at last. Rein shrugged, a so-be-it expression on her face.

"So... Wanna tell me what 'it' is?" M.A. finally asked.

Before either of the two could make an answer, though, the doorbell sent Rein hustling off, muttering something about 'that pesky landowner' and what not. Sae made to leave too, but his fiance patted his chest with a look that clearly said, 'I got it, you stay with M.A.' Instead of answering his sister's question, though, Saebum changed the topic. "How 'bout we get some moves for your Pokemon? You saw in your Gym Battle how being short on some workin' moves can be a pain."

M.A. in remembering her gym match forgot about her previous curiosity about 'it' and cheerfully consented to some shopping. So the two siblings set out.

"Whatever, sorry," Riza grumbled as he gave the nurse the pokeball, and she shook her head and walked over towards one of the windows and looked outside. 'God Crenu, you're so stupid,' she thought, frowning. 'All you had to do was say something, but no, your stupid manly pride had to get in the way.' She sighed, and decided to put the blond haired boy out of her mind. If he couldn't stand up for her then he just wasn't worth her time. At least this one seemed to have some semblance of ambition, and she turned around and looked over at the desk where Keegan appeared to be talking to the nurse. Curiosity got the better of her and she walked over to them, intent on seeing what was going on. "Ooh what'd you get?" she asked, peeking over the red head's shoulder to peer at the HM. "Fly, huh? That's pretty cool. And it's your birthday today? Never would have guessed it, so uh, happy birthday," she said, feeling a little silly. She never really had any friends back home, at least ones who's birthdays she knew and she was a little clueless as to what to do about it. She studied Keegan's appearance and smiled, suddenly knowing just what to do. "Well, before we get some lunch I suggest we get you into some nicer clothes. Like I said before the bloody-tough-guy persona is just not you." She flashed him a genuine smile, and knowing he was at least somewhat in pain hooked her arm through his once his pokemon had been returned to him. "We're hitting the mall to get you a new outfit. It's on me, 'cause of it being your birthday and all," she said, now leading him out the front door. Okay, so while she had promised herself that she wouldn't use Daddy's credit card to get herself out of a financial bind, this wasn't exactly the same thing and was for a purely...charitable deed. At least that's how Riza justified it in her mind, anyways.

Kilik pretty much just kept his mouth shut when she got up to leave. It appeared that she was still recovering from yesterday's ordeals, even though she tried to mask it as best she could. He took down another spoonful of his cereal and juice, smacking his lips a bit as he swallowed it. Maybe it was just the orange juice here, but it didn't taste quite as good as it did at home. That was why: pulp. He never had pulp at home. Pulp in orange juice was about as foreign as a Pidgey in his hometown. He looked over his shoulder as Mitsu came back and sat down. "Well, it's good to know my sleeping didn't totally bore you to death." He felt a sudden shaking at his belt.

Cable, the newly evolved Electabuzz, burst out to stretch. It was strange getting used to these new legs, and this strange tail. Being inside the ball was suddenly beginning to feel even more cramped than usual. The tiger walked over to the bar and reached out for something. He was feeling very clumsy - first, these crazy long arms knocked over a salt shaker, as well as an entire jug of grape juice. "Ele!" he gulped, instantly leaning forward to slurp up the spillage. When he got as much as he could, the Pokemon straightened up and wiped his lips. Cable looked over at Kilik and laughed a bit. This was going to be very strange; he was tall, he was lanky, and he didn't know how to move very well in this body. He just grabbed an apple and walked over to the table, standing beside Kilik. He took a big bite out of the fruit.

The boy laughed, and felt very proud of his Pokemon. Seeing him as an Electabuzz was shocking, pardon the pun. Kilik then looked over at Mitsu. She was looking very down suddenly. Reaching out, Kilik placed a hand on top of hers. "...Are you okay?" he asked.

Giovanni smirked and allowed his Dragonite to take the hit. It's not as if it would hurt him too badly. "That's very childish of you. Breaking things until you get what you want." The man shrugged his shoulders, "Of course, I don't suppose we're too different in that regard. This is something you want and you're willing to break down anything in your way to get it. Fine then...Britain was it?" he laughed, recalling his Dragonite. "I've seen enough of your battling ability and I know that you're a capable trainer."

He approached the short boy and extended a hand. "Welcome to Team Rocket. I think I'll start you out as..." it didn't take him too long to think, "14th in command. You're just barely better than the best Grunt." He motioned for the boy to follow him up to his office.

"I'm fine," Mitsu replied her voice shaky. She tried to hold her cup of coffee, only the liquid quivered in her hands, nearly spilling over. Guess I'm not drinking the coffee she thought, placing her hands onto the table.

Mitsu held her head with her other hand instead. The pain was getting worse. Much, much worse. Her breathing became a bit rigid and choppy. Of all the headaches she'd been having recently, this one was worse than all of them combined. "Why am I getting these headaches?" she mumbled to herself, her eyes closed from the pain.

Help! No! Get away!

“AUGH!” Mitsu cried clutching her head, now with both hands, thus roughly yanking her right from under Kilik's. “Ex-e-excuse me!” she sputtered and just like that she took off like a bullet straight for anywhere else but there. She slammed the door shut to an open room, (luckily there was no one inside) echoes vibrating throughout the nearby sections of the Pokemon Center. She wrapped her arms around herself, shivering, as she sunk to the ground, her back against the wooden door.

“I want to go home. I want to go home.”

“Go away. Go away!”

“Don’t, don’t come near me with that!”

Mitsu shook, gasping and clutching her head. She drew in sharp, painful breaths as she could feel her energy draining slowly. The mirror on the far wall reflected a faint glowing red hue.

“Don’t kill me. . .”
“Please. . .”
