It's just taken from the Registry home page, which is where the old CG banner came from, too. ^^
That's why it was nice to get some original artwork with the Leon banner for a change. whee

Leon banner= new CG banner?
I like the Leon-ness of it, but I liked the old banner too. Can't we just use MS pain-in-the-a** and stick Leon in front of the old banner?

Wasn't me who changed the banner - given that there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency regarding guilds, I wouldn't imagine campaigning for a new banner would be a very productive run. crying

wait, so putting up the old banner, but having Leon imposed on it requires confirmation from a developer for the GGN or an admin?
It's just a banner! D:
Gaia should just realize that they don't have the man power yet to be promising so many things and then follow through with them.
Get more coders/developers or whatever, THEN start promising a battle system, more items, bigger and better MC's every month, and a GGN update. I know they need to paid so just say "hey we goofed, gonna be a while til this happens. Right now we're all focusing on this item and when it's done and unbugged we'll release it and move onto the next project"
And it's getting to the point where a GGN update is turning into the new Battle system. It's been promised since mid 2005 and we just entered 2008.
/really stupid rant.
why the heck am I getting annoyed over an internet community? gonk

I don't know if it requires 'confirmation' as such, but the Captains' Guild is an 'official' forum and any sticky changes etc. in the main forums are run by the admins, so any changes in the CG are either instigated or at least approved by staff higher than moderators.
The GGN update is something I'll rant about in my journal soon, but yeah, it gets under a lot of our skins. >_<

IMO, that is silly. Admins should trust the mods enough to realize they wouldn't make a banner change to something irrelevant or inappropriate or stupid. Otherwise they wouldn't be mods. And I'm sure the admins have something more important than approving a 40x200 pixel image.
Tell me when you update, I want to read this rant.
and the answer to stop it from getting under your skin is obvious; take it off! smile

Well, they do have better things to do - it's more a case of this is their site, not ours, and our job doesn't involve creating official graphics.
