Nemroth slowly walked the streets of NYC, wondring why he decided to move here. There were way too many people, too many people to witness his acts. They were a rude bunch as well, many of them far from educated, and those that were educated, were eithre snobbish or busy. He hadn't come across any of his kind -- of that, he was sure. He turned into an alley that was blocked by a gate. The gate had a dilapidated sign, yellow in colour, that read "Private Alley" fastened to the wire. He scaled the gate and came upon some signs that affirmed he was not the only vampire in the city. The signs were warnings from huntres, they called themselves, to vampires, werewolves, and something called the tainted -- he hadn't heard of them before. He felt he should leave soon, but something in him wanted him to stay, wanted him to pick a fight with these so-called huntres, wanted them to know he was not to be messed with.

Though he wanted to get into a fight, he did not want to stand here all night. He decided to leave, but now he was going to be on his guard. He hadn't come across people who would hunt vampires, this being his first encounter with actual city life. He left by climbing the gate and continued his trek through the streets of NYC.

Nemroth felt himself tense up, a sign he had long before come to understand to mean something wasn't right. He glanced to both his sides, to be sure no one was coming for him. It wasn't as if he had vampire stamped across him; how would one of the other races know to follow him? His mind was going through through all sorts of confrontations with this person, mentally preparing himself for an encountre. His countenance though possessed a neutral expression. He made his way through a large crowd, and veered off into an open alley. If there was any problem, it would be handled out of sight of witnesses. He made his way through a network of backroads and alleys and casually leant against the brick wall of a building. He kept his head down, but his eyes a slit open, so that he could see his attackre if it dared approach him.

Nemroth had been leaning here for a couple of minutes and there was no sign of his attackre. Maybe he lost that person within the network, maybe that person knew thenetwork bettre and decided to head him off. Eithre way he wasn't going to fall prey to anothre person in the first couple days of his stay here. The night wind picked up, blowing cool air through the alley. It felt wonderful to him. His hair started whipping in his face and he casually turned his face to the wind, so that it blew it off his face, and most importantly, out of his eyes. He turned back slowly, and the wind blew all of his hair to the left side of him. It did obstruct his view a little on his left side, but at least what he could see, he could see well.

Kraehe smiled as she found out where the man stopped and stood by him. Her violet eyes watched him closely. "Hi." she said in a small voice.

Nemroth had seen the woman coming, wondering if this was the person who had been following him. That familiar feeling was back, and he knew she was the person he had been waiting for. When she said, 'Hi,' he had been taken aback, but stiffly nodded his greeting. 'You don't want to mess with me,' he warned her, his muscles tensing with the apprehension of a fight. He waited for her reponse before he did anything. One wrong move on her part and he would have her pinned to the wall so fast, she would beg for him to stop.

Kraehe smiled weakly. "Why would I? You have a powerful aura about you. I don't fight alot anyway....."she said quietly. He looked very strong and if she did any thing wrong, he could knock the wind out of her.

'Well, then , we are in agreement. Leave me.' The last sentence came out in a threat that he supported with every fibre of his being. He liked being alone, and didn't much prefre talking, as opposed to othre things. And he didn't prefre females, enjoying immensely the roughness of males. Knowing he was in no immediate danger from the woman, from whom he knew now he could easily defend himself, he leant deepre into the wall and closed his eyes.

Kraehe read his mind and memories. "Oh, well I'll leave. My name is Kraehe, I hope to see you again..." she said starting to walk down the street.

Myyth came around the corner, and onto another street, with Jaden just a bit behind. While it may not have looked like much, there was a hidden gem here she loved. A cafe and boutique she'd been visiting for as long she she'd been in the city.
"Mmmm.......we can grab some coffee and see what they've got here for you." Myyth said over her shoulder to Jaden.

Jaden followed obediently trying not to draw attention to himself. In New York he fortunatly looked like some transient so was overly ignored. Coffee? Did he drink coffee?

Seeing that Jaden seemed a bit out of his element Myyth wrapped an arm around his waist, and stood up on her toes, so nibble his nose playfully. "It'll be quick. Janice can size people up like very few I've met." Her nose wrinkled a bit. "Even if her taste and mine conflict at times."
