Clearly you and him have no clue who I am.
I do not have many giant paragraph posts and if I do use them it is an effective tool, causing people to miss details and important events in my posts, thus increasing my edge to win.
I play to win that is all, simple, winners have fun. I have a lot of fun making people pissed off, upset and angry.
Oh and I bet everyone uses the same post, where I am fighting Gelmax. That's quite alright, I hate Gelmax and I wanted to make it as hard as I could for him to get out of, understand and read what I did.
I can crank out thousands and thousands of words in a post just to describe one attack.
I am a different breed of fighters not from Gaia. I act and fight like the people I knew.

The Haelstrom Fist knows nothing of me or what I can and cannot post. His "Pendulum Step" is nothing but a little corny ploy along with s**t like "Min/Maxers" and "Godmodders" You lose to someone who knows more than you and knows how to use it in a fancy way and you get all pissy and start throwing stones.

Here: We have different fields of thought.
You came first so... here's the anaolgy that I'll use.
You think that the earth is flat. It's what you've always thought and so you must be right. You'll even go so far as to persecute anyone that thinks otherwise.
We came next, thinking that the earth was round and wasn't the center of the universe.
We have fun with our hobby, instead of using our hobby as a venting mechanism.
Aaand I'm off for dinner.

I've just came back to Gaia and had no clue the tournament was going on until I did some back reading.
I take my character serious, I have been developing him and his story line for a hell of a lot longer than you have been rping. I get annoyed when my skills come into question when...
1. I do not -lose-
2. I explain what I do down to the detail, down to the ******** way a flies wing looks.
3. I am objective and open-minded. I watch, learn and listen to everything anyone says.
4. My attitude and my characters attitude are not the same. When you ******** with me I will ******** with you back, simple as that. Not my fault you get all pissy when someone cusses at you, I don't. I get pissy when I hear this bullshit lies that people I don't even know or ever rped with say.
Oh most of you are "noobs" or w/e the ******** you want to call it. Rip off characters from ******** animes and video games. Where as I made my character from the ground up, a vivid and complex story-line and a vivid and complex list of abilities I -personally- have took the time to learn and research, not to have it just dismissed by some high school ******** who thinks he knows more than me.
So is that good for you?

Well maybe you all need to understand a bit more from where I am coming from. How would you feel being the black-sheep wherever you go to rp? I down play with most people, following on their terms rather than my own. Also you don't understand that when I used to fight with my character it was for keeps. If Ertai dies he is dead for good. No one, No one here ever plays for keeps like that and no one here has an attachment to their character like I do.
So sorry that I play the way I do. Sorry I have no comrads or friends on anymore that I can spar and fight with. I just have the people that hate me and thats how it will continue I guess.

I have very little knowledge of who you are and only know you from the bits and pieces I can form from the first GTB. I am not getting into this argument but I will add this. Respect is something that is earned through experience. If I see you in a tournament and you do well that is when I will give it to you. But since you are not in this tournament calling people 'noobs' doesn't give you much credit to your skill or your attitude. You can go on all you want about how much work you put into your character but some of us have written far more. Some of us write for game designers, others are writing books, some for companies and programming so there are many ways to measure writing ability. So for now Ertai you might not care that I wrote this but if no one likes you at all...you won't be able to prove anything to anyone. I could be wrong...but you seem to me like the kind of person that has something to prove, even if you feel you already have any bit you might have gained you lose the more you ad hom people. So instead of complaining or fighting if you really want to show us just how good you are join a tournament. Get judged by several people who will interpret your writing, and see what happens. Because writing, in my personal opinion, isn't completely for you but for the reader as well. If it is just for you skip the internet, write on paper, and put it on the shelf to collect dust. My two cents. Take it or leave it.

My character has a "chip on his shoulder." As do I for the most part, there is no further point arguing history of who I am and what I do to people who have no clue.
I am just merely a shadow of what I once was, and I do wish to fight in tournaments but, life it seems to skip a bit.
The main problem I have with these tournaments as well as some of you people is. Fighters win hands down, there are no judges there are no scales to grade peoples writing and skill ability. The end result matters, like I said. Winners win and losers lose, you don't need a judge to tell you that.
I don't need respect and I don't give much out. If you are worthy to me you will know.
I am sorry if i'm not like you and the rest of your friends.
My kind is a dying breed sad to say...

I'm not saying that you're not skilled. I have no clue about that one way or the other. I am saying that taking this s**t seriously is not what we do, and as such you will be the black sheep. It's too bad, but that seems to be what you're saying.
Pot calling the kettle black? Fair enough, I guess, even if you're the one that's going nuts while I'm sitting back watching the Simpsons.
Finally: You get all mad at us for not building our characters and just stealing our characters from anime. You get pissy at us for talking about you when we don't know you.

I understand the concept, because by and large I play fairly loose with my character's mortality, but I don't treat it as serious because it's still just a hobby. But that's why you don't see Deitric running around acting like he's invincible, because he isn't. To be fair though, I intend to kill him to advance a story, which is something most people won't do with their characters. But, to be honest? Like I said before, your attitude is an open invitation for a lot of people to just troll you, the manner in which you consistently act pretty much brings it upon yourself. It's not the swearing, or even being blunt, because I swear like a sailor and act routinely blunt in most discussion. People usually don't have a problem with that. It's the fact that no one wants to sit there and deal with a guy who can only talk about himself and how ripshit awesome he (or his character) is, or who talks down to anyone who disagrees with him (or, for instance, about how anyone who disagrees with him has shitty characters). That is not the definition of "open minded and objective", that's the definition of "narrow-minded" and "fundamentalist." No one likes to deal with either, whether or not they actually apply. I'm not telling you to change the way you act, because I don't give a s**t if you do or not, that's your prerogative, but if you want to know why people respond to you the way they do, there you have it. Like I said before, we've had this discussion previously when you asked why people reacted so negatively to you. Well, there it is.
