I am saying this from experience, so listen! To create a character, first you have to go to the RP Academy to see if you have what it takes. Then, after some finding out how to actually get what it takes if you failed the first time, you look at the character guidelines. After you look them over, you then create the character to be an academy student, and with the appropriate stuff involved for your character (like what clan your guy hails from, including the Saiyuki clan, but only when I manage to get off my lazy a** to get that one fixed... otherwise, no, not even the staff would let you play as one of the Saiyuki clan).
Okay, I lied, I didn't get all of this from experience, at least not here. I at least have knowledge from observing what the hell is going on, but enough of that!
Look, the point is, follow the rules to the best of your ability and nobody will hunt you down on the boards for not doing it right.
