Sellesion Thanks! Lol. My Bf took it a couple days ago while I was at work. Awww.. sorry 'bout teh feels. ;-; Haha~ That's okay! It was a long time ago, she died of heart break, cuz my bro's boy bird died (out of nowhere) and she got lonely. *le sigh* Nothing we could have done. They were cute though, noisy as heck, those things, but can be super pretty sounding and looking. Mine was the best purple I've ever seen, I still check out parakeets when I go to a store to confirm. I could be biased. ;P

When you really think about it, some of the best love stories have gotta be about birdies... they're so devoted when they love someone. 3nodding Its so sad, yet strangely beautiful, how they can care so much that they'll die of loneliness and heartbreak when they lose their mate. They are very pretty, but noise does come with the terratory. And haha.. you could be biased, but I'd say that's ok. ^^ I don't think I've seen a purple parakeet, so she's already got a 1 up that way on the others. ^^ Yess'm! My younger bro and I got them at the same time, our first pets ever. My mom and I were always the ones stuck with cleaning the cage out though, he never did it. The jerk. stare We never got bitten, but we didn't quite get to the point where they would jump on our hands. I could pet them though and loved buying those white shell chew toys, and other things for them. Man, were they addicted to mirrors and little bells! Maybe all small birds are? Can you confirm/deny? I don't have any pictures of her here with me since this was before the internet was widely used (all at parents' house). Internet search isn't helping much, most are slightly different. My brother had a light blue one though.

It's alright though! biggrin I got an invite as well. I wouldn't have spent that much if it weren't for those darned sales with $50 items. >> But way to go! Making that much on free offers and stuff! When my little brother had a bird, or we had a bird meant for the whole family, it was still me and my dad who always cleaned the cages. My mother and little brother never did. It even got to the point where, my mom would tell my little brother to do it, and when he didn't she'd shreak at me to do it instead, and she didn't care if it was infront of him or not. So he got to thinking I would do all his chores if he didn't, so, of course, he didn't. And she'd make me do them, and he didn't get in trouble. *is sorry for teh mini rant* anyways, I can relate. sweatdrop is a jerk-move. Sorry you got stuck with the cleaning. Aaaanyway, not being bitten is good! It usually takes a bit before they'll be confortable with being held, but petting them is on the right track for sure. :3 I'm sure they loved those toys. And yes! I think you're about right. Haha. All the Cockatiels I've owned have all also loved mirrors, and occasionally, the little Jingly bells. It does seem to be only/mostly smaller birds though, because my parrot just chews the knockers out of bells, and is unphased by mirrors. XP That's ok! It makes sense. Light blue ones are pretty too. *nod*

You haven't missed much, the summer event that Gaia held was...uh, kind of lack luster, though adorable. I got into the club as well, though mainly through the free videos, and my bf gifting me money for birthday sales, and the summer sale. Lovely Lucie had to be bought! Oh I love that item.

You haven't missed much, the summer event that Gaia held was...uh, kind of lack luster, though adorable. I got into the club as well, though mainly through the free videos, and my bf gifting me money for birthday sales, and the summer sale. Lovely Lucie had to be bought! Oh I love that item. I tried the fluff event but thought it was to much of a hassle to go to towns. I'm not a fan of the towns. I knew about the summer sale. I should be able to afford Loving Manner sometime now that the price has really deflated in the market.

How great is that?! :'D I know. Sure beats spending real money. I've been making enough that I've gotten a lot of EIs and CI bundles that way. Did you actually spend 50 dollars on an item? That's a lot of money, even if those items are really rare.

That's a lot of money, even if those items are really rare. That's really cool. Somehow I don't have that much luck. Half the time I don't get my reward from free offers, especially quizzes. I've managed to buy some stuff that way though. Like the occasional RIG. I did, but it was stuff like my Ashen Marionette. I want it for keeps, and would never get it otherwise. Only recently have I really figured out how to make millions in gold to buy the things I want, and it's still pretty time consuming- selling art and playing the MP basically. Besides, on a good night at work, I can leave with $85 in tips alone, so I don't feel bad splurging like that once in a while. I don't get auto-cash or anything, so I just get it when I can afford it & there's an item I really want. As for Club Verge though- I won't be buying any of those with cash. >>
