Daegonna knocked back the rest of her drink, and leaned into Seraphim's embrace. She could tell he was lost in thought, so she remained silent, giving him the opportunity to voice those thoughts, if he chose. She nuzzled her gaunt, deathly face against his chest, pressing her warm body to his cooler one.

*It took a few minutes, but Seraphim DID break the silence, with where his thoughts were laying*
Dark.. butterfly... heh… seems so long ago. Do you remember the shirt? We went shopping, but… alas… interrupted before I could buy you the one thing I took you there for. Such.. human… pastimes are not for our kind. Perhaps I realise this now. I should feel glad you killed Iden and things have gone to hell for him since, HE called you away from me that day and that’s when I lost touch with you but…
I’m sorry he isn’t alright. I’d hate to see Cerberus in his position. For all Cerb is a king sized c**t and general douche. But I’m also glad you’re alive, butterfly.

Daegonna smiled faintly, and nodded. She did indeed remember their little shopping excursion, and where it led. Her smile faded at the reminder of her part in Iden's death. "He hasn't been 'alright' for a very long time...It is...hard...to watch my brother in this situation." She hugged Seraphim more tightly. "I'm glad I'm alive, too." She said dryly. "Persephone has been after me for awhile, and I don't think I want to know why." She shrugged the thought away, and silence fell again. "It's been too long since we had time to spend together," she said at length, gazing up at him from under those long, dark lashes.

An hour, she had said. One hour to run, and then he'd be hunted.
Pah, Iden didn't care for flight. He had a bone to pick with her; he knew he would lose, but that didn't change that he wasn't going out without the chance to fight back. Running had less purpose; he refused to live like a rat. Hiding in a hole waiting for the end would never satisfy.
So there he was seated; the dusty old tavern was abandoned. Perfect for him; he wanted the collateral damage to harm as few folks as one could.
His feet were propped up on the table; he looked exactly as he would be expected to. Duster, boots, bottle and handgun; he was reclined in a casual posture, waiting patiently and downing a dead man's drink.

Well well well... look who comes crawling back into the dust looking the condemmed man in the eleventh hour.
*The voice was harsh, cracked from disuse maybe, but the figure... well, it was like looking at twins, one short haired the other long, as the figure moved out from behind the bar where it had been curled. WHAT he;d been doing was unclear, but the OTHER blue haired man had a certain sneer on his lips as he gloated, looking at Iden with a laugh hidden in his chest*
About ******** time.

Not who I expected.
Softly, the hunted one chuckled. He hadn't noted his counterpart's presence when he had entered. Truth be told, he had been here for a good few minutes, and hadn't seen or heard a thing until just now.
Where one twin bore a sneer, the other held a solemn smile. There was no joy on Iden's face as he tipped the bottle back one last time.
Funny. If only you were to have taken my place, everything would be so much the better. Guess you were the better son after all.
The bottle slowly lowered; Iden's hand set it aside quietly on the table. Then, he stood.
I believe I owe you a duel. Not much time, but I trust you're still up for it.

Wait wait wait.. WHAT? Just what the hell are you on about?
*To say Iden words werent what Cerberus had expected was an understatement. The look fo confusion that crossed his brows was comical, if it hadnt been of course for the fact time was ticking away minute by minute towards a darker fate.*
You wanna duel me, and end this, we do it properly. What other appointment is so important to you?

Point taken. There's more than plentiful time. My mistake.
The confusion would have been entertaining under any other circumstance. Iden did not smile in anything other than mirth, however; he was still counting away the seconds. A quick glance over the shoulder to locate his target, and then...
Lightning fast, both handguns blazed away with fire and hatred. The grudge between Iden and his counterpart had never truly faded. Now it was one born of jealousy; he wished to end the one he honestly saw as the better of them both.

*Cerberus moved like lightning, his own guns in his hand at the end of the evasive twist and dive, firing upwards from the floor and he skidded back behidn the counter and snarled, aiming at Iden's head*
That the best ploy you're carrying? ******** girl! try harder you sorry sack of s**t. Even MY Bella could do better AFTER I was done scouring scars into her!

Heh.
Iden's foot twisted once his counterpart moved; it caught the leg of the chair at his feet and flipped it upward. The corkscrewing furniture took the first few bullets, giving the hunted just enough time to fall backwards onto the table. He hit hard, and it flipped over as his momentum carried him backwards; now there was a convenient shield between him and his foe.
Landing on his legs in a neat backflip, Iden rose from his crouch into a powerful side kick. The table was hurled through the air at Cerberus, to be swiftly followed by his twin.

*Cerberus pulled proeprly back behind the bar as the table flew forward, then leapt over the bar as Iden follwed the table, and opened fire at his back, aiming for the base of his spine. He didnt want Iden dead, OH no. Just crippled and in agony*

It was strange, how they mirrored one another. Iden saw Cerberus duck when the table flew, but saw nothing of the him dart behind the bar. The bounding fiend forced Iden to hit the floor, his momentum carrying him into a full forward slide. Twisting as he landed, his shoulder hit first, allowing him to light off his own firearms. Bullets thudded into his ribs and side, just as he was seeking to pepper his nemesis with lead across his chest and belly.

*Two peas from the same pod. Both peppered each other with bullets, Cerberus using powerful quads to backflip acros sthe bar and behind another table, reloading swiftly as he leant around it to shoot once more, the shadows behidn Iden eruptign with fierce mouths to try and ensnare him*

When the handguns emptied, Iden wasted no time reloading. He discarded both sidearms and rolled over his head in a quick maneuver to regain his footing. As he did, his hands darted to his belt, and from them flew a pair of explosives. The frag grenades would pulverize the twin's soft cover, and likely pepper the one behind it with shrapnel.
Of course, this left Iden to be ensnared by the shadows. He had bound right into them, giving them ample chance to grab hold and pin him. But for the thumb grasping at the pin of a flashbang, he'd be screwed...

s**t.
*Cerberus scrambled back, away from the explosves and avoided maximum damage, btu he was hurt right enough, blood spattering the floor as she snarled at Iden, and bid his shadows to....
Well, do nothing. The sound of the door opening and a deep sigh prevented that*
You're an easy man to find Iden. And too busy ******** about to even hear my bike. You. Seraphim's boy. Out. NOW. I am NOT Seraphim's ilk. Im y... I said... out. Do not make me repeat it.
