"We still aren't sure. This hasn't been an issue before. If worse comes to worse, the advisors will call for a split of the kingdoms and Princess Erika will rule. But the kingdoms will fall into war again, and this time Keros will not recover..." Vince muttered, now bringing out the hard truth of it all, shaking his head sadly.

Akori scratched the back of his head, "well then we better make sure that she wakes up, because I'm not about to let Amy go, she'll just end up being kidnapped....by me" he said, looking at Amaya wishing she's just open her eyes and get up.

Vince nodded slightly, but he knew very well that what Amaya had done could just end up killing her in the next few days. Over the centuries when times became desperate, the queens of Keros used to use their life force to save a loved one, or the entire country. The only problem was, they'd all fall like this. Some did survive, others never woke up again, and actually many died not too long after doing what they did. And right now, the chances were slim for Amaya waking up.

Akori rested his head against the wall, waiting patiently until Amy was done talking, or comforting her sister, whichever she was doing.

Roran hadn't entered, afraid at what he'd see from the state of Vivian's exit. Walking in, he heard Akori's question, staying in the corner as to not be noticed. Then once They were done talking, Roran stepped out of the corner. "I will rule both, Akori. Of course, Amaya and I did discuss the effects of you being advisors. Of course, if we were to be under seige, I'd send you, Amy, and Xander as advisors to Syra, Vivian and Hector as well. Syra is in the best shape and has the best chances of all you to come out of the fights alive. Erika would, hopefully, stay here with me. Her usefullness in the hospital wing is invaluable. Keros is the weaker kingdom, she'll be needed more here. Then of course I'd stay here as well. I refuse to let Keros fall if attacked."
Looking to his wife, a sad smile came to his face. You always think of others before yourself. You're wonderful. "Someone get Vivian. Tell her she is needed, and the request comes from Roran. I need her up here as soon as possible. Please."

"Of course, your highness..." Kaname said as she bowed to Roran and then stepped out of the room, going down to Vivian's room and knocking on the door. "Princess Vivian. King Roran requests your prescence in Queen Amaryllis' bedroom..." She called softly.

Vivian had returned to her room before Kaname got there, sitting on her bed thinking about her sister when she heard her knock. Walking to the door, she answered it, seeing Kaname there. "Alright." She said softly, starting in the direction of her sisters bedroom. Soon she arrived inside, curtseying slightly to Roran since he was King. "You called for me?" She asked, tilting her head as her eyes glanced to Amaya's form before returning to him.

Roran had been staying still, just looking at Amaya's still body. Hearing Vivian come in, he looked to his new sister in-law. "Yes, I need your help. You tried giving her some of your life force to no avail, since you could only give so little." Looking back down at his sister, he smiled. "I want to give her some of mine. No protests." He loked around the room at all the faces. "I want to do this. I want...I want to give her as much as she needs. I'll start with a fourth of it. That shouldn't be enough to make me pass out. If a fourth of my life force doesn't make her change, I'll give her another fourth. I'm only planning on going half-way right now, I'm quite certain it should work. If it doesn't though, I'm prepared to give more."
Looking back at Vivian, he gave her a weak smile. "I need you to help me give it to her. I saw you revive that bird." His eyes were stone hard right now, showing no emotions. He didn't know how she'd take the news that he had seen that event. "You revived the bird from death." He didn't go about mentioning the fact that he knew the bird was also a man, who was her lover. He was worried Hector might be near to hear it. "So, if you could please help take mine and give it to her, I would owe you my life for that."

Xander's eyes widened. If Vivian could transfer the life force of one person to another, then Amaya could recover. But what if Amaya needed much power. What if Roran would give up too much life force. Then he would be laying there and things wouldn't improve at all. "Roran, wait." Normally Xander wouldn't speak against Roran's ideas, but this time he had to. "What if you give up too much of your life force? Both kingdoms need you and Amaya. You two must rule together. If Vivian is going to transfer someone's lifeforce let it be mine. It was Amaya and Vivian who saved me. Let me repay this debt. If I would die then it would be as grave if you would die. You must understand this is the only way. Please, let me help." Xander looked him in the eyes. He knew he was right. Roran couldn't decline his request. Xander was second to rule next to Roran and Amaya, so it would be grave if he would die. The people of Keros and Syra need to see both Roran and Amaya. Especially since they wedding ended in chaos. If the people saw the King and Queen are unharmed, they might unite. And he owed this to Keros. They saved him, now he could return the favor.

"Wait your highnesses! Hold on! It's too dangerous for you to be doing this!" Kaname exclaimed as she started to panic. "It's already close to impossible to transfer life energy anyways! Queen Amaryllis needed the help of a stronger being. That's why Dariya is unconsious as well. Please, you must understand that this is a very delicate process and it's much more dangerous than it seems!" She told them with worry in her eyes. "Giving up part of your own life force will shorten your life. Niether Kingdom wants any of their royalty to be this way, much less dead. It will only cause the countries to stay unsound. Please, I implore you to give Queen Amayrllis one more day to wake up on her own. If she's not awake by then, then I will step down and allow you to go through with this. But you must remember that the queen would never be able to forgive herself if any of you got hurt on her behalf...." She sighed tiredly. She'd been up for the past few days, waiting for Amaya to wake up. As well as Vince. They were both exhausted.

Roran's eyes rolled in annoyance. "I said I didn't want any protests." He looked form his brother to Kaname. "Kaname, she's been under for a day or so. That's far too long! Not only is she needed, but Dariya is needed with the Strikers as well! Something has to be done to wake them both." Turning to Xander, he didn't say anything for a moment. "Xander, I know you didn't tell me everything back at the castle. There is more to this assassination attempt than you're letting off. And you know exactly what I'm talking about, I'm the one who doesn't know. You can't risk any of this, you're the only one who can get to the bottom of the whole thing. You are the last person who's giving up any of their life force."
Looking at Kaname again, he wasn't glaring, but it seemed like it. "Kaname, Amaya and I already can't have children. We're quite sure of that. Plus, Amaya just gave some of her life force up to Xander, so her life is shortened as well. I refuse to live longer than a year or so after she dies, so I see no more reason to not go through with this." Looking back at Vivan, he sighed.
"I do want to make one thing clear." He took a deep breath. "If the worst case scenario does happen, and neither Amaya nor me come out of this alive, Hector and Vivian are to lead." He looked back into the room. "Xander, you not only have to get to the bottom of the assassination attempt, because they might try again, but you also don't know Erika very well. Akori, I don't think Akori is ready to rule. He'd rather live the easy life with Amy, and I don't blame him. It's in your nature, brother." He was looking at Akori, with an apologetic smile. "Hector and Vivian are to rule. Not only because they seem the best candidates, but they really did bond since they met. They bonded quite a lot, and I would have to say they seem the most likely to have a child. I don't mean to offend anyone, but that is what I say." He looked to Vivian because Hector didn't seem to be in the room.
"I understand the horrors that could come of this, and I'm ready. I'd do anything for Amaya. If this'll help, then I'm prepared to go the distance." He wasn't sure exactly how Vivian would pull this off, or if it was painful or anything of the sort, but he was ready. As ready as he'll ever be.

Kaname stared at the ground sadly, getting ready to open her mouth to say something, but Vince gently reached out and pulled her into his chest. She hid her face in Vince's chest and he rubbed her back in a comforting way. He had a lot of respect for Roran. He was very wise and very caring for his age. "It was never actually confirmed by a doctor as to wheter or not Queen Amaryllis could give birth." Was all he offered to Roran, trying only slightly to lift his spirits as he continued to rub Kaname's back.

Vivian's eyes widened at his request, and she almost immidiately said no, but...She was considering when she heard that he had seen her, blinking as she looked to him in surprise, shock even. "I..." She was at a loss, looking to each as they spoke in turn, her eyes lingering as she looked to her sister once Kaname spoke her piece.
She had to admit she agreed with Roran, her sister had been asleep too long. They...can't have children? Her violet eyes darted over to the King, now she and Hector were to lead in their stead?! Her mind was spinning with that prospect, as well as what he had asked her to do. Her eyes met his, seeing how determined he was. If that was what he wanted, then she would do it. "Al...Alright. I'll do it." She said rather shakily, walking over to her sister and placing a hand on her chest, holding out her other to him. "Give me your hand." She was at a loss of what else to say, just hoping that things turned out alright.

Kaname closed her eyes tight, not wanting to watch and just buried her head deeper into Vince's chest, but right before Roran was about to take Vivian's hand, Amaya coughed slightly and opened her eyes, even though she was still ghostly pale and cold. "Why is it freezing in here?...and what are you doing Vivian?..." Amaya muttered in a whisper as her deep blue eyes flicked up a little to look at her youngest sister.

Xander had remained quiet. Going against his brother would prove useless. So he could not repay the debt this way. He would be serving and protecting Keros and Syra. Now that he knew he wasn't next in line of the throne, everything seemed easier. He would clear this assassination plot. Don't worry. No more lies, everything will be different from now on. He stepped back when Vivian was going to transfer Roran's life energy, when Amaya suddenly awakened. First he was surprised and soon after relieved. Talking about close timing. Seeing that she was alive, he silently left the room. She might still have to rest, but Xander was confident she would make it. And so, he could focus on the task Roran gave him. To stop the assassination plot. The tricky part would be, he might need Rico's help.
