BAD! You should know better by now. It can be found in the downloads section of FW.

One thing that you may know is that the weapon is a HEAVY 15 type but sadly not rending for some shitty reason/

looked it up -no one in my vicinity ever had something like macharius, hence I never researched it - by Emperor, this thing is death to Meqs... My sisters dont want to face one, thats sure...

I saw that, then looked at the ST and AP. It really makes me want to get one... sweatdrop

Well, considering that they're reletively not that much, in a couple of months I just may get one.

I just think that it's bullshit that such a large weapon isn't a rending weapon. If a much smaller assault cannon gets to rend, then why not a big a** version of it?

Because then people would take the Guard seriously, and they'd lose out on marine fanboy sales.

with ap 3 it really doesnt need much rending... terminators and obliterators arent so common... and heavy 15 means: scratch those devastators... then this command squad... anyway I see that Land Raider tank killer with 5 lascannons as bane of this tank

Problem is, unless you change the modeling or got a generous player, there's only ever three shots you'll get to pull, due to the inconvenient location of the non-TL lascannons on the side.

I agree, though, that it makes for fine AT. 2 non-TL, 3 TL shots, Average of around 4 hits at S9, even that's likely to get a Glancing (If not penetrating) hit on a Monolith on average.

Just beware the large point suck.

Woot finaly started my IG army. I have been waiting so long to start this.
This is what I have so far:
1 Command Squad
2 Jr Officers
80 Guardsmen
10 Heavy Weapons
1 Leman Russ
2 Cadian Snipers
2 Cadian with Special weps.

Just going to say: Be careful with the bits from these Sprue's, and you can have 30 actual heavy weapons (10 of three types). Sure, it bites into your basic guard, though works well enough for saving money on HW teams if you like variety (Mainly, Autocannon / Heavy Bolter / Lascannons all from one box).

Sure, it bites into your basic guard, though works well enough for saving money on HW teams if you like variety (Mainly, Autocannon / Heavy Bolter / Lascannons all from one box).


yeah, you really gotta strech those heavy weapons to the max. generally I'll build one heavy weapon the normal way and then use a regular model to hold the rocket launcher (no stand needed since it's shoulder mounted)

Indeed I already have 10 heavy wep bases on order so I can base 20 normal cadian on them with rockets. Oh yes I also have 2 baneblades on advance order!

If possible, replacing the Rockets with Las or Autocannons can be better. Main reason is simply what that they are better for a specific task. Still, Missiles have their purpose (Being a cheaper version of a Lascannon, for example).

Asking why the hurricane mega bolter isn't rending is similar to asking why a scatter shuriken cannon doesn't rend...
Shooting disks that are the size of a mans waist at high speeds... even if it would cut easier than rend, I think rending would be in order. xDDD
