Maelthorn My energy lifts my nodachi for me, that's why I can swing it around so effortlessly o: Tch. >.> *Scribbles some notes down* (Exaggeratedly, of course)Trei_Shouri @nightsnow: Its mainly the environment; the FFA doesn't really allow for in-depth character building roleplays. I know, I tried...people don't want to try to use limited abilities creatively, so they put everything into the game at once. And that is why I always get owned.....darn. gonk

Ah, well, I responded now. And what I do with my character, even though it isn't very character-like or Role-Playingish, I just tweek his strengths according to who I'm fighting. If I'm fighting some one that fights on a lower level, I'll go to a lower level, etc.. After all, Gaia's suppose to be fun.... Or so I thought...

After the introduction of guys using insane armor or weapons, everyone starts copying -- specially the ones that want to win in shame. Gaia was fun before, but it stopped the moment people started to act low and pay no respect for the opponent at all.

No one ever expects the unexpected, because they will expect the unexpected and when they expect it, which means it's expected thus when someone does something totally out of the ordinary, something so unique, the expected becomes the unexpected.

So when does the Spannish Inquisition show up?

~King Milky~ No one ever expects the unexpected, because they will expect the unexpected and when they expect it, which means it's expected thus when someone does something totally out of the ordinary, something so unique, the expected becomes the unexpected. We can never expect the unexpected, because if we try to expect something, that in turn only makes the expectation the expected. Therefore, expect the unexpected only works when you expected it to happen, and the unexpected happens when you don't expect it to happen. So it shouldn't be said "expect the unexpected", but "expect the expected."

There is no such thing as the unexpected.
No one ever uses the unexpected.
Its always what you expect.

The unexpected happens every day. And many people use the unexpected.

Don't call me kid. I'm probably as old as you are.
And you saying that people never use the unexpected doesn't negate the fact that some people do. Not all but in this whole wide world inevitably probably states that someone somewhere will do the unexpected, regardless of if it's in a fight or not.
Now you can learn to read into a person's movements and come to expect actions from them and not be off based, but that does not mean that every once in awhile there won't be an uppercut that comes out of nowhere, that you didn't expect.

Wow....
So, if Binatica sees this, I'm letting your opponent (Arch) dismount and go on. I talked to him over PM's, he was a nice guy, and it was an honest misunderstanding. He says he PM'd me and asked if it was alright to ride in on his tiger, I said yes, but apparently he thought that meant he could fight on it. I honestly don't even remember such a conversation over PM's, and if I hadn't interrupted IC he would have used the tiger anyway, but...I just can't do it. So you two just have a good fight.
