Lewis thought a bit, "so pillows, but smaller. Welp, i'm sure you will figure something out. think about the things that are soft and how to keep them in one place and small enough to be warn. you'll get it." he kissed her head and looked around, "anyone need something from their dad before i go?" he loved that they called him Dad now. it was-nothing short of amazing. he might not have been able to provide children, but at least he had them.

Tsume nodded, "next time we go there i'll take you to their village. you'll be able to see the families there, en masse. there aren't many families around the capital since the attack. most people are scared of a second attack, there were many children killed that day."

Lewis gave Anna her hug, "how about tomorrow? i'll come by for tea, deal?" he put the girl down and lifted Emily into his arms, snuggling the girl close, "come on, you. nap time. i'm amazed you were able to get up so early! you're normally impossible to waken."

Tsume nodded, "yes. i can fully understand." he finished eating and moved the plate away a bit, sighing happily, "that was amazing. thank you again, Kash. Are you done faking, Oliver?"

Oliver flinched, giving himself away. he hesitated a moment before pushing from Tsume's shoulder and sitting on his leg, looking down guiltily, "sorry."

"Nothing to be sorry for, i was just wondering."

Oliver looked up and nodded before looking at Kashi. "you're like me." he spoke softly, his hand moving up to touch just under where he had once had a missing eye. "did master heal you too?"

Lewis waved to Anna as he walked out, assuming that Martha was already out looking at her birds. "that was very wise of you, my dear. the people are important, but so is what they do. maybe we should have your dad scrub the floors too." he took her into her room and tucked her into bed, grinning, "think he'd like that?"

Oliver looked down, "oh. I-um, I'm glad you got your eye back. it's nice-to be able to see properly again. I, um, i-" he couldn't think of anything else to say and just sort of stopped there.

Tsume nodded, "you both were able to be removed from your past selves and given back your eyes. you're both very lucky indeed. thank you, Kash." he took a drink before offering Oliver a drink, which he quickly turned down with a shake of his head. "any plans for the day, Kash?"

Lewis nodded, "That does sound like him, doesn't it?" he leaned down for the kiss and returned it, "goodnight, sweety." he made sure shew as covered by the blankets before leaving the room so she could nap. "that or i'd pounce on him after seeing him scrub on all fours," he muttered to himself, heading for Al's study. he burst in and grinned, "darling, i've a new game i want to play! it's called the servant and his master!"

It hurt that Kashi would go to Henry or Megan for lessons on reading and writing when Tsume would be happy to help. maybe he was still scared of him? "oh, alright. sounds good. Oliver, what are you plans?"

Oliver shook his head, "wait until i'm needed."

Tsume nodded and stood up, sitting the boy on his stool, "guess that means i need to figure something out. you two have fun." he smiled a left, wondering if Kashi was still scared of him and that was why he didn't ask Tsume to teach him how to read or write.

Oliver slipped down from his stool and took the dishes, "i will wash these, sir."

Lewis wiggled his eyebrows, "it's easy. I put on a aid's uniform and start scrubbing the floor. you, take advantage. see?" he knelt in front of Al's desk, his chin on the edge, and stared at the man. "how long before you finish your work?"

Tsume stopped and looked at Kashi in surprise. the man's shyness made him smile, "i'll teach you." he slipped his hand into Kashi's and kissed the other's temple, "i was worried you wouldn't want me to..." he pulled away, frowning a bit, "am i ok? do you want me to find someone else?"

Lewis shivered under his husband's touches. "I think i need to go get that uniform..." he kissed Al softly, not wanting to move from where he was at the moment, "or we could save the game for later and go straight to the fun part."

Tsume lifted Kashi's hand and kissed the back of it. "alright, let's go to the library. we can start right now." he started walking, giving Kashi's hand a squeeze, "i want to spend today with you too."

Rin rolled over, his hand flying out and smacking Yuki in the face. it startled Yuki more than hurt him and he woke screaming, which in turn woke Rin and caused him to cry out as well. Leo had been dozing in the chair, but snapped awake at the sound of his babies, hurrying to the crib to sooth them.

Lewis groaned, dropping his head back. "I guess i need to get on all fours then." he smiled and lifted his head, kissing the king before slipping off the desk, taking the man's hand as he moved to the middle of the room. "time to rehearse."

Tsume walked with Kashi into the library and found a table they could sit at. it had paper and a pen and would suit their needs perfectly. "alright, let's start with your letters first. i'll write them and say them out loud, you copy them. ok?" he got two pieces of paper and pencils and handed one set to Kashi before sitting down. "this is the uppercase letter, A." he instructed writing the upper case version. "and this is the lowercase a."

Leo giggled a little at how quickly Elliot moved. "Rin accidentally hit Yuki in his sleep, i think." he was holding Yuki who was only snuffling now, soothed by being held. "they are probably hungry, too, you've been asleep for a while now."

Lewis was naked, sweaty, sore and happy as a lark. his throat hurt a bit, making his voice a little raspy, but that was a happy reminder of their little game. "mmm, i need to get myself that uniform. shall i wear stockings and a garter belt for you, love? i remember you like those."

Tsume nodded, "very good. that hard part about writing is it's a matter of practise. carry a journal and pencil with you and whenever you have a moment, work on your letters. that's the only way you can get better. same with reading. the more you work at it, the easier it becomes. now, B." he continued with their lessons, teaching Kashi every letter and going over what they sounded like alone and with others. "it'll come with time, promise."

Leo laughed, "two bottles and a bowl of cream then. maybe a little something for me too." he went to the door, yuki resting against his chest with his head on his shoulder, the baby's eyes watching everything that passed by. "did we eat lunch? i can't remember..." he frowned, really unable to remember if he had eaten since he'd woken.
