tyhier_uchiha Im supposed to get a check, all of it will go towards net and any left will be saved for a laptop. Until the check comes ill have to try to get to the library. I was in the same boat for a while and I went to Newegg.com and they have FANTASTIC computers for good prices rather than going to like...best buy or something. Maybe you can borrow a friends computer to order yours? They come in pretty quickly.

Those who could fly flew I thought, and the others were taken there by the star rod. And the van thing a few had taken as transportation.

@Slag: I'm glad to be semi-back too. I got some news, but I'm not going to say and get my hopes up too soon.
@Usuda: Actually Walmart has good ones always on sale, which is funny considering how low priced some are. The friend thing, actually if that were possible I'd be posting now. Most work and others are to busy to pick me up. lol and our school district blocks everything even in the colleges, they're real sticklers with the filters.

Hey, I know we've been talking about different arcs, (and Tempest said he would be cool with this) but what do you guys think of investigating different locations and ridding the world of all formulae for Venom? It would allow YJ the opportunity to use their investigative/covert skills...

@ty no, that's a load of bullshit that someone cooked up in order to cause panic and it's working. Facebook is a free site and if Zuckerburg wants to continue to be successful he'll keep it that way. If he initially DOES choose to make people pay for FB then I promise Google + will become MUCH more popular...I kind of hope it does, actually.
@slag I dont see an issue with the idea. Elaborate? =3

Well slag that could work, especially since he stated his reform back in March/April and we're in May/June, but Stray has the next arc, and I have an idea for one in July and a part arc in September.
And incidentally this is why I love the fact that this is a separate adventure. We can crossover when we want, but we can move at our own pace independent of what's going on in any other thread, just like the comics we're based on. biggrin

Kujo: That's fine, Bane will be busy until well into October, possibly November. It doesn't have to begin right away.
@Usada: Well, I don't know how much of Bane's last post you read, but he's turned good and is now going to go around the world, ridding the world of its supply of Venom. He actually did this in the comics, too, and then went after the Lazarus pits that Ra's al Ghul has.
(Believing that Bane sought Rex Tyler's expertise in chemistry, Rick lets him approach his father, only to discover that the story is a ruse. Bane, who had never truly been addicted to Venom, had in fact wiped out the drug lords, and destroyed every research note on Venom. He discovered in the process both strains of Venom derived from Rex Tyler's early research on Miraclo. He discovers from the Tylers that no written notes exist of Rex's work, captures Rex, and steals Rick's equipment, planning to kill Rex and force Rick to take the last of the new Venom, living forever as an addict. Rick manipulates Bane into using Miraclo and demolishing the building as he and his father escape, burying the mercenary in the rubble of the very same Santa Priscan penitentiary where his story began.)
I deleted the last bit, because I'm not going to have Bane ingest Miraclo, even if it was forced, and if YJ is there, then he won't be tempted to kill this man (even though I would eventually choose to have him not kill), and the truce with Batman will eventually become a strong alliance.
How does that sound for an arc later on? Then we can still have time before October hits and we'll still be free to take our own parts in The Game.

The Game seems very exclusive.... And a little weird.
I mean, if Lois Lane and Batman both went missing suddenly, wouldn't Superman come looking for them? He finds them and it's game over. Or any number of other Leaguers.
The whole reason Saw is scary is because everyone's a normal person, and sure the people being tested are normal, but their friends aren't.
It's a game only a few people can really play. Unless there's some other aspect to it or some dual story, most of the DCU players are more or less getting shafted. There's nothing for meta characters.

I used to be a role playing group that would have called that a half story, and would have ran another concurrent story before tieing the two into one before the end. This used to me a massive headache, but a fun one xd
The reason I mention this is if you don't feel there's enough going on petition for a second half, call it a distraction if you want, hell there's always room for a space story. wink
