Angel made a soft groaning noise as she woke up, and weakly squirmed, trying to break free of Riley's grip. "Want," she whimpered, obviously still feeling the effects of the blood.
"What happened to my little sister?" Alek sounded amused more than anything as he walked next to Riley, very abruptly, also taking Jezebellun.

"Goddess blood." Riley answered with a sigh before actually realizing someone was here that was not with them. "Wh-where the hell did you come from?!" he hissed with wide eyes so as not to disturb the baby.

"Just outside," Alek replied with a small smile, bouncing Jezebellun gently. "I left the others in a witch city. You are my niece's father, correct?" He paused to kiss Jez's forehead.
Angel opened blurry eyes and attempted to glare at Alek. "Dun hur hi," she mumbled through the glorious haze coating her mind.

"Uh, yeah....You're not gonna try to pummel me into a bloody pulp, are you?" Riley asked as Angel started to come to. "You okay? Need a drink to clear the hangover?" he asked, remembering when she drank from Van as he set her down and helped her stay upright.

Angel only heard one word clearly. "Drink." She tore away from Riley, suddenly lucid, and slammed into her brother with an "Mmf."
"Odd," he said with a sigh. "Mother didn't say anything about god blood. I presume because she didn't expect us to meet any deities."
Lupa sauntered up to Alek, examining Angel, one hand lazily caressing her wolf's fur. "Yeah. I seen something like this, with the ferals. They manage to get their hands on a vial of divine blood somehow, and they can't walk straight for a week."

"Yeah, the stuff makes her pretty high for a bit and then leaves her with a hangover. Come on, if you want a drink you can have some from me, but no more god blood for you." Riley said going to drag her to bed.

When Angel made a soft, whining noise, Alek said, firmly, "Go with him. Straight to bed, Angel."
She pouted, but returned to Riley and held his hand.

"Don't worry, Alek and I can take care of Jez while you're asleep." Riley said as he led her to the bed.

Angel made a soft, drunk noise. "Jezebellun... mommy loves you..." Then she collapsed on the bed and fell asleep.
"Well, damn," Alek said with a soft sigh. "My sister's a druggie." He kissed Jez's head again. "Hopefully, that doesn't rub off on my niece." He stared at Angel a long while, then shifted his gaze to Riley. "I have an important question for you."
"Ask it somewhere else," Lupa said as she curled up next to Angel, her wolf at her back. "We're napping."

"If this is about me thinking of ditching her and Jez, I promise I won't." Riley said quietly as he left the room so as not to wake the pair. "I already promised Mala I wouldn't, and I'd have both you and her after my head if I tried." he said with a slight chuckle.

Riley just stared and then blinked a bit before saying anything. "I guess so, I never really thought about it before!" he said with a sheepish chuckle. But he didn't mean it in a 'sure, whatever' way but a 'happened before I knew it' way.

He nodded faintly. "Good. Angel's a bit... sensitive when it comes to things like this. If she starts talking about a wedding, just go along with it for a while. She has the attention span of the average feline and will soon find something else to interest her. Oh, and if she says she loves you, say it back immediately. Like, within a second. Or she will start crying, and very little can get her to stop when she starts."

"Don't worry, I have been. I figure if I tell her no wedding she'll break down on me." Riley said with a sigh. Many a girlfriend could be high maintance, but Angel had them all beat.

"Good." He nodded. "Now, I'm going to give you some tips for dealing with her in general. If she's mad at you, find her flowers. Any kind will do, but she loves yellow and pink. If she whimpers, she's about to cry. You need to talk to her and calm her down before she starts. Make sure she exercises her wings at least once every day, because if they get stiff, she gets cranky. And by cranky, I mean she will be ready to rip throats. She usually has a sexual appetite that nearly rivals Val's. Be prepared to be doing things to her constantly." Alek paused, thinking.
