"Alice, Kuro Oni, Ajora, Azrael, Janex, Elleon, and Kai make for a known total of seven, but that's only those known. As for fears and weaknesses," Kyle began, trailing off. It was a logical question, one he'd pondered a bit before but they'd never really had time to consider. With all this free time on their hands... this was turning out better than he'd anticipated.
"In theory, they'd have the same fears and weaknesses, but as is obvious, the Darkness has strengthened them, and any compassion-related fears would be lost to their Light-less hearts," he explained. He shrugged, however, clearly not done. "But it can't hurt to go for it anyway. If Ajora had any sort of battle weakness, it would be his actual physical defense. I've always been a bit sensitive, though I had good pain tolerance. Thing is, I made up for it in reflexes, which I'm sure he's got increased a-plenty."
"As for a non-compassion-related fear? You'd be better off not bothering, but I'm arachnophobic, and he almost certainly is to an extent. Problem with that, however, as most people here can tell you," he said, coughing and turning away; his ears seemed to redden a little underneath his shaggy hair. "I don't get crippled when I see a spider; quite the opposite, I tend to do whatever I can to kill it. Last time we had an incident, a large one landed on my shoulder... and I almost caused a cave-in and killed every single one of us. Imagine that, but with the power of Darkness. Seem like something you want to go up against?"
He chuckled, but it was more of a dark, weary chuckle. As the others talked about James again, he nodded to Louis and Jacob, and frowned slightly at Dawn as he heard her words. Every fiber of his being wanted to point out that blatant flaw in her feelings- namely, that she was essentially damning James to serve Ajora because she didn't want to bruise the guy.
He held his tongue. He'd been enough of a b*****d lately, anyway.
"The others would have to tell you about their personal weaknesses and fears, if they're comfortable sharing. Just as Dawn feels to strongly to hit James, I can understand if people feel too strongly about their personal secrets to share them so openly, even if it meant a minute advantage," he said; internally, without giving it away, he mentally patted himself on the back for making two points without actually hurting anyone. Awesome. "Anything else? We've got at least another few hours, so we might as well get everything out in the open. This might be the only chance we get for open communication for awhile."

[ Ajora ; James : Castle Oblivion : Outside ]
Ajora sat with his legs crossed in the middle of the pathway directly in front of Castle Oblivion, his eyes closed and his hands on his knees in a relaxed pose. His face seemed serene, tranquil as if in some strange form of contemplation. James remained stoically standing behind, almost completely lifeless save for the required breathing that he had to maintain in order to function.
On Ajora's left, three spheres of Dark energy, crackling with crimson bolts, formed with relative ease. They were tiered so that one was just a bit above his head, the other was even with his chest, and the third was even with his knee, a few inches off the ground. They remained stationary, as did he; the bolts of crimson light sometimes circled each individual sphere, and sometimes flew from orb to orb.
It was at this point that Ajora's face began to seem strained, deepening his concentration. Whatever he was doing was putting an uncommon amount of strain on the Bloody Executioner (something he wasn't too fond of, as one could tell from the slight scowl that his lips curled into). Slowly, and almost staggeringly so, a single sphere of Light energy appeared to his right, even with his chest and the opposing sphere of Darkness, crackling with golden bolts of energy. Then, at the same agonizing pace, a second, identical sphere of Light appeared, mirroring the higher sphere of Darkness on his left; and finally, a third appeared in the lower tier, allowing Ajora's face to relax, becoming neutral once again.
They hovered there for a brief moment as Ajora simply continued his breathing; inhaling and exhaling, all deep breaths. After a few minutes of this, however, the spheres began to revolve around Ajora in a fashion mimicking the electrons of an atom (or, at least, their commonly perceived orbital patterns). It started out very slowly at first, accelerating over time until they moved as blurs around him.
Within the veil of Light and Darkness, Ajora smiled.

Dawn would have felt an intense, cold satisfaction, something that could have almost been described as a sadistic joy. She would have known it wasn't hers, but at the same time, she would have felt it as though it had come from her own heart. This moment would last only briefly, mere seconds at most, and would have been accompanied by a low, almost-inaudible chuckle that was very distinctly Kyle's... or Ajora's, depending on the circumstances.

[Dawn : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl]
Dawn listened to everyone speaking around her. She really didn't have anything more to say. She said her piece. Nothing she could do or say to stop them from knocking James out or hurting him to do so. Dawn soon turned towards Kyle once more as he seemed to take his 'leadership role' in answering more questions.
Dawn's attention was soon off of Kyle as she felt a surge of emotions flow through her. So much so that she let out a small gasp (Only loud enough that maybe only Anthony could hear it,) She placed her hand on the left side of her chest as the feeling of a cold joy came over her. It scared her to the point the sensation as a couple of tears built in the corners of her eyes. All of which happened all in a few brief seconds, but to her it was several minutes. Her eyes stared at Kyle as she heard his small bit of laughter, which was a the breaking point for her.
"NO! SHUT UP!" Dawn yelled out as she glared at Kyle, "Just shut up! Stop laughing! Think it is funny? If you got something to say to me just say it!"

Kyle stood there, flabbergasted, as Dawn gave an outburst shortly after his chuckle, cutting off the majority of his final words. His eyes were wide, one less so than the other as if to question what the hell was going on; his jaw remained somewhat slack, mouth barely open as if to say something as he stared.
"Dawn, what in the world are you talking about?" Sora asked, chiming in from her side with a look of equal confusion and worry. He tilted his head to the side to try to look directly at her. "He was just talking about what happened in Halloween Town's crypt, before you even arrived. What's gotten into you?"
"Dawn, I think maybe you should get some rest. I wasn't laughing at you at all," Kyle finally said, his voice barely louder than a mutter as he brought an arm up to his chest, lightly scratching his hand as if absent-mindedly, though he hoped she got the message.
'Dawn. It's Ajora. He's probably using the scar, or hell, the trinity charms. You need to calm yourself down or you'll give your own damn secret away. This is Kyle with the joker outfit and prank and training car incident, roger roger?'
[[So yeah, that last paragraph would have been almost completely interrupted.]]

The question of fears came up and Noelle thought about it. She didn't know if anyone else was going to divulge their greatest fears, so she felt a little self conscious about just coming out with it. A fear of not being able to breathe was perfectly rational, but it was still something personal that she didn't feel comfortable blurting out. The agromancer was going to wait and see if anyone else was going to say anything, but Dawn interrupted all thoughts, probably from everyone. At first all she did was stare at Dawn with a look of confusion, then she became worried.
"Yeah," Noelle said after Kyle, sounding concerned, "Why don't you get back to the crew's rooming area. You can take a nap."

[Anthony ~.~ The Black Pearl ~.~ The Brig]
Anthony remained quiet as the group exchanged their thoughts about how to deal with James if he were to show up and attack them. He knew how close Dawn is with James and he could feel her uneasiness in her words and body language when it came to "hog-tying" the gunner. Anthony held the girl tighter, pulling her closer to his side, and rubbed her shoulder to help comfort her. Like Dawn, the youth didn't know whether or not he had what it took to attack one of their own, but if he had to, not just for his sake but for the others as well, he'd fend James off.
Once Kyle had finished speaking, Dawn suddenly began yelling, telling Kyle to shut up. Immediately Anthony stepped back from her, widening his eyes as he shifted them between Kyle and Dawn--obviously feeling awkward. At first he thought she felt fend offend by what Kyle said, as subtle as it may have been, but on second thought he knew it had to be Ajora. "Dawn...," Anthony began, approaching her with caution. "You okay, buddy? Want me to take ya to the sleeping quarters?"

Before Nich could respond, the girls came through the portal and Amy was especially noticeable as she had her head in the sand, kissing it profusely. It was rather comical to see, but time was being wasted at the same time. He could not predict when, if ever, he would see the beaches of Hawaii again, so he quickly walked over to Amy and used his body to cast a shadow upon her.
Then, quickly, and efficiently, John hoisted the smaller one upon his shoulder fireman style and began to walk toward the ocean.
"Now now now dearr. Thies is no tiyme for kiessing sand," John retorted in a Russian accent. "Big strong man throw you into ocean and you change into bathing suit, am I right? I think yes."
"Hey," Amy said, or began to, the word turning into a yelp of protest instead. She found herself flung over John's shoulder, almost effortlessly, like a sack of potatoes. Her eyes widened as his intention became clear. "Oooooh, you'd better not." He didn't stop. "John! oooooh, John from Cleveland, you'd better not. I will shoot you in the kneecap." Amy wasn't very imaginative in her threats– kneecap shooting seemed to be the only one she had. "And, and, it will be painful, and hurt, and– pain!"

[Dani :: Narnia -> Hawaii Beach]
Dani eventually stopped water the trees watching them grow back. “So this is what it was like before they were burned.” Dani commented before trying to crack her hands to relieve the stress.
She then turned behind her to notice that there was a portal waiting for them. Amy was gone so Dani knew that Amy had gone back into the portal. “Kyla,” Dani looked to the pictomancer “It is time we get that beach day we both crave.” With that, Dani walked towards the portal and entered.
Dani soon appeared on the other side of the portal and smiled since she had already missed her “temporary home.” Dani then scanned the area and found Bobbi standing there by herself.
“Bobbi!” Dani yelled to Bobbi before walking over to her. “I am sorry we ran off. I wanted to protect Kyla. Also, Do you want to swim with me?”

Alan wasn't fast enough to do something about Genesis' attack, and ended up taking it full on. Squall (Alan thought of Leon as Squall) was right - it really, really did hurt.
Alan landed in a confused heap. His entire body stung, and a dull pain filled his legs.
Come on! Move! Stand up! MOVE!
Remarkably, and somewhat surprising even to himself, Alan's body obeyed his urgings. He clambered to his feet, just in time to see Genesis flee. Alan was a little upset to see his foe escape, but mostly he was relieved. At least that one didn't last too long. Fighting for pleasure is one thing, but there's nothing enjoyable, Alan thought, about mortal combat.
Dismissing his armor (and revealing his wounds from Genesis' attack), Alan surveyed the area. Squall was hurt worse then he was, he observed. Perhaps he had taken more of the blow, being closer? Or, perhaps it was the difference in their ability to resist magic. Either way, Alan walked over to the fallen gunblader, first to cast Regen on Squall, then offering his hand to help him to his feet. "So, who was that?"
He would, of course, tend to Cloud next.
It was about this time that Alan heard Kyle's shout. Kyle, is that you shouting?, he asked using the charm.

(( Sorry for the long wait guys, we got disconnected, and then all our computers broke again! Then the shaw bill gave out and we were officially off internet- uuugh it was a MESS!- I'm going Snowbaording for 2 days- permission given to auto play me for a bit unless I get bakc fast enough to post in proper time. No killing me please.^^))
Kyla was very pleased at the result of their teamwork, it was inspiring. When their powers combined it opened up a whole new avenue of possibilities. Something to perhaps explore later? The restored dryads paid their respects, their spectral bodies floating around in the newly formed bows, their laughed tickling her ears transmitting the sensation of pure gratitude.
Just that made it seemed worthwhile. All of that nonsense.
‘ we saved them… perhaps there’s still hope for Axel, Beatrix, and Yuffie… and Terra as well..’
When the portal opened Kyla did the same thing Amy did, casting one final glace in the direction Cory had left. Releasing a long and tired sigh, she entered the portal of darkness and arrived on the beach. As cold and dark as the corridor was, that was how sunny and warm it suddenly felt.
Yet even with the comical enthusiasm from Amy, Demyx’s flirting, and John about to toss her in the water, Kyla couldn’t seem to break this ‘tense’ feeling just yet. The battle was still fresh in her mind, she was as raw in emotions as she was when she first tried to go to the beach to relax in the first place.
Like a spring all coiled up inside, she was wound up tight. Out of the corner of her eye she watched Dani go one way- to Bobbi, whom she felt an overwhelming desire to run over to and hug right now. They were denied their reunion reaction last time- but suddenly Kyle took off after flinging sand in Demyx’s face.
And then… was her mind playing trick on her? Did she really feel that?
The pictomancer stared after the Katar user, whose dressphere reshaped as he left the landscape of the balmy beach setting. Her whole posture held that air of anxiety, unless someone broke her of it- she would start following most likely. Her eyes wandered back to Bobbi, then back to the way Kyle left.
All this time fighting- and Leon, Cloud and Alan weren’t back yet? Was she being paranoid? Perhaps she needed to let it go and relax, this constant level of tension couldn’t’ be good for her.

[Cloud : Clearing]
Cloud landed directly under Genesis, his sword impaling the ground as he followed through on his attack. The earth turned purple around Cloud in a five foot radius, then faded back to its normal color. Meanwhile, Genesis was giving his speech; Cloud, bruised and cut, recognized too late what was about to happen. He didn't even have time to shout out a warning to Leon and Alan before the spell hit him. Being close didn't help matters, either.
Cloud could be found beside the rock Genesis had made into a seat when the duo had first come across him. He didn't appear to be conscious.((But because two party members are still standing, we still won! Victory!))

Dawn felt her body shake slightly as the emotions vented out of her. She looked over at Sora as he came over to her, then over to Kyle. Her face showing a confusion, fear and some sadness.
~'Calm down, Dawn. Kyle is right, it was that double of his. He is pulling your chains. Compose yourself.'~
Dawn shook her head as she wrapped her arms around herself, "I-I'm sorry... I-" was all she could mumble. She brought her hands to her hide her face from view. She could really feel like an idiot at times.
~'Your emotions are getting the best of you. Everything has been stressful for you. You should do what they tell you and just get some rest. You are not going to help James by losing your mind now.'~
Dawn nodded as Garuda mimicked what the others were saying, "Please excuse me..."
Dawn gave one final apologetic look at Kyle before she started out of the room. She wouldn't stop anyone from following her as she made her way towards the upper deck. Her emotions were stressed, but she didn't trust herself to try and sleep right now. She sat herself on one of the crates near the sail, letting her elbows rest on her knees and bury her face in her open hands.

Kyle merely nodded to Dawn, giving an apologetic look of his own as she walked away.
'I'm so sorry.'
Those three little words, despite being common and over-used by many, would have held an intense weight behind them as he sent them to her directly. He was, in fact, extremely sorry, though for reasons she may not have agreed with.
It wasn't some separate entity that was torturing her and her close friend. It was Kyle. It was Kyle's fault that all this was happening to her- to all of them, as far as the Replicas were concerned. If he hadn't lead them down into that crypt... if he'd just been able to control himself, regardless of that stupid curse-thing that had been bothering him, then none of this would be happening.
So yes. Kyle was, indeed, very sorry.
"I suppose this would be a good time to mention," Kyle began shortly after Dawn left, his voice heavy with the weight of the obviously bad news. He should have mentioned this immediately, but it had slipped his mind until the incident. "Through some means or another, Ajora's figured out how to use the Trinity Charm through James. So for now, you can't exactly trust anything you hear me say to you through them."

Noelle watched as Dawn left, still feeling worried for her. She stared at the door for a moment, debating on joining her. When Kyle mentioned Ajora's connection, the Agromancer looked over he shoulder at him and nodded solemnly. Jacob had found that information out earlier and shared it with her. Hearing it again didn't make her feel any better about it.
"Yeah," she murmured, rubbing her cheek. "So . . . communication through the charms is compromised for you. Can you promise to keep from using them? Someone else can do the communicating, just to keep us all . . . doubtless."

The male frowned at Dawn, then frowned harder at Kyle. Ajora had access to the trinity charms? Oh, hell no.
Joe immediately shut down his mental links with everyone, mainly out of pure instinct. No one would be able to send him mental messages, period. He refused to let that a*****e work himself into his mind. Absolutely refused.
Of course, it probably didn't help that Joe separated himself from everyone to lean on the wall and look pissed. Mainly because he was.
[Azrael: Hawaii: (Not so) Secluded Beach Spot]
The male's cheek twitched. Why in the hell were there voices on the beach? And why the hell were they EXISTING?
Bal-Hur stayed laying face down on the blanket, bare butt to the world, and Az got up, head appearing over a rock and looking at the people that were on the beach. Great, those people they fought before. Vunderbar.
Swiping his hand over said rock, a wind blade shot out and landed near the group, shooting sand up near them. "Oi! Shut up! Some people are trying to relax over here!"
With that, the male returned to his blanket, the sunglasses over his eyes and swim suit on his hips and legs. Oh, and his snakes, Asmodeus, lay around him, three in all. At least, three in sight, coiled up and resting in the sun like their creator.
Damn kids need to learn how to shut up.
