potsmon, I'm guessing Hinote made a pun on how Pots is two letters away from poke, so he replaced pokemon with potsmon. And well, I am just going with the flow ^.^
Pokemon is originally called Pocket Monsters, and still is refered in this way in Japan regularly.

POTS = Here
Auggie = Here
Pokemon = Not Here
Potsmon = People Here!
The trend of making a Pokemon spinoff with the name of whatever group you're in rather than Poke is extremely common.
Pokemon = Pocket Monsters.
Potsmon = POTS Monsters.

Hey, I just thought of something... You know how in some movies and depictions of evil labs how there are huge test tubes filled with water and a monster? Well, how does the monster breathe? I mean as far as I can tell, the only movie that ever gave the person in the test tube an oxygen pipe was Resident Evil two when she get's caught. And even then I don't think she had one...

As far as I know, that's liquid hydrogen =/ But that's only a guess...

Ummm... I hope you mean liquid oxygen... Hyrogen is an extremely volatile gas, and if you breathe it you die...

I know that, But I'm saying if you literally only breathe hydrogen then you will die. Hell, you could die from breathing too much pure oxygen.
The air that we breath is filled with trace amounts of thousands upon thousands of harmful chemicals and gases. Hell, You could very well be breathing amonia right now. HELL You could be breathing in something as bad as Arsenic. The fact is that the amounts in the air around you isn't enough to truely damage you.
