Liking this new experimenting prospect, he decided to delve further into it. Verin lowered a hand to the point where it was just above the water. "Niar, ku'lam." A sphere of water slowly came forth and separated from the main body of liquid. So, now the flawless orb of liquid glass was floating in the intermediary area between Verin's hand and the main body of water. Verin pointed his hand toward the rock that he had drove the pebble into and repeated "Fashka." The orb sped toward the rock and exploded in a hail of droplets against the rock, taking out a sizable chunk of the rock itself, too. He was going to have to keep a notebook off all the things he was doing, or else he would most likely forget it all. Apparently there were more to the black magics than controlling the elements of fire, water, ice, earth, and wind and the darkest of magics like calling forth a rain of meteors or a mass of dark energy, spells that he knew but forbid himself from using. These forbidden spells used long incantations and most would drain him of ninety percent of his energy, and the last one, unless he rose to a height of great magical ability, would surely kill him just to vanquish his enemy.

Aside from the panicky man afraid of being turned into part of a well-balanced breakfast, the remaining people in the spring were him, the girl he had seen earlier, and a dragoness with a child on her lap. The man was still worried about being turned into toast, the dragoness and the child were absorbed in their own conversation, and it seemed both the other girl and himself weren't really the outgoing type who would go up to someone, say hi, and request to be their friend. Verin could only think in amazement at the other hundreds of thousands of students that walked the halls of Ria High, their powers, their personalities. Possibilities, friends, and enemies were there to be made. But first he thought he'd get some sleep. Verin stood and stepped out of the spring, water dripping from his shorts and the feathers on his dark wings. Ugh, wet feathers, he couldn't think of anything worse at the moment than wet feathers. He spread them to their fifteen foot span and flapped them a few times, spraying water droplets in any given direction. Brushing them off, he was satisfied they were dry. Thinking about those he had recently met, he chuckled at the thought of the other guy, and gave a friendly smile and a nod to the girl perched on the rock. Farewells more or less out of the way, Verin made his way into the dressing room, changed out his swim shorts for his usual garb, and set off to procure a room...if he failed, he did like sleeping in trees.

Zach and lance walked into the hot springs, quickly changing into their trunks so they could jump in. As usual, zach walked into the springs first, keeping his head held high, while lance on the other hand walk in like he had no pride, his head was low and eyes narrow, filled with complete bordom. You could tell he didn't realy want to be here. They whent into the co-ed part of the springs, thinking it would be alot more fun than the male side of the room, though Zach wouldn't mind sneeking into the girls side.'Dont be thinking such things!' lance said in zachs mind, knowing what he was thinking, but zach didn't answer him. Instead he got rid of all the thoughts, and walked over towards the co-ed side.

"Lighten up, will ya, foolish idiot?" Asked zach, first putting his right foot into the hot steamy water to test the temperature. Feels alright... he thought ,slowly dipping his body into the water. He started hissing softly from the hot sting of the water until he got used to the heat. "that's hot..." he mumbled to himself much more quieter than any whisper, he would've been better off thinking it than wasting his well earned breath.

"Look, stop calling me 'foolish idiot,' ok? It's not my name! Call me lance, please just call me lance once!" Lance complained not moving until his brother got into the water. He laid on his stomache and placed his hand in the water, quickly removing it. He didn't like the heat one bit, but he knew he'd get used to it if he'd just try. He stood up and jumped into the hot watter, and growled loudly, anyone arround that wanted to hear it was able too. "Yeah, that's hot..." he said also waisting his breath like his brother did just moments ago.

"Who's the stronger one here? I can call you 'it' if I wanted too, and you can't make me do otherwise. But, since you're my brother, I'll at least call you by your name sometimes." Zach thought leaning up against the edg of the spring. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, letting it all out at once. This is nice... he thought and smiled. It's been awhile since he smiled, the last time he did something like that was when he pulled Kyo's hair and slammed his head into a tree, and that was only a day ago, alittle before he came to Ria High. "Ya know, I think I'll like this school... It's alot better than hell, don't you think?" he asked with a much nicer tone in his voice.

"Thank you... and yeah, it is alot better than being with that drunk." Lance thought, thinking back to his old home, the one with his drunk 'i'm gunna beat you' father. He hated his dad more than anything in the world, words could discribe it, but this was no time to let his father win yet another battle. This was a time to releax, not be mad or depressed over a totaly messed up childhood. Yes, his childhood was alot different than most.

Zach glanced arround the area as he heard another's breath, or sigh, he couldn't tell the difference. He then noticed a shaded figure not far from where him and his brother were. He gazed emotionlessly for awhile with narrow eyes at the shaded figure, then desided to walk slowly through the hot water and steam towards him, whoever this person was.

Lance gave Zach an odd look, raising a brow as he did. 'You're not planning on sneaking up on him are you?' He asked in zach's head, alittle curiouse about why he was going over there, but he didn't get an answer, at least he thought so. Lance was never good ar reading minds, not one bit good at it. Since lance didn't get an answer, or hear one, he desided to follow his brother. It was just to make sure he wasn't going to do anything rude to the guy.

Zach was finaly close enough to him to where the man was no longer just a shaded figure amonge many. "Hello?" he said in an akward tone. Lance watched his brother from a short distance, still making sure he wasn't going to do anything wrong. Though, even if he did do something wrong, it's not like he could do something about it. His brother was much stronger than he was.

Kuro jumped slightly as the person talked to him. He was facing away from him and turned in the direction of the voice. His hair moved across the water as he did and he shivered softly. Due to the water he could not see anything and he slowly extended his hand to feel how close the person was to him. He could not touch him at arms length so he was a good distance away.

"Hello? Who is there..."

Even if the person did not know he was blind the person should at least know he could not see due to the blindfold around his eyes. He bit his bottom lip as he pushed his back against the rock trying to get far away from the person who was talking to him. He did not know if they where friend or foe or even what they looked like. Everything was totally black.

Kuro's face did not show fear only the way he was moving back. He stopped gently relaxing. He sighed and tilted his head toward the voice as he 'looked' up at Zach. He hated people laughing at him and he hated people making him scared. He stood in the water his towel falling away from him and he stepped foreward his hands extended.

Softly he felt for Zach's face and began to slowly rub it as he gently swayed his head from side to side.

"Hmm.... Zach huh? What are you smiling for? Whats funny? Blind men that hilarious?"

Im confuzzled

"Yes it is a nice day today, but I prefer more of a breezy day or a windy day better."
she simply said as she looked over to him.
"Im doing fine, my name's Ayame, whats yours?"
she asked, as she looked at him with her pleasent smile. Her golden eyes closing for a moment as she smiled but opening once again andl ooking at him.
