"Don't say it?" Lucas asked, "Why not? It's then truth." He told her simply, turning to the television. "Because... Living forever with no rules on life anymore. It's just... Better. Espcially this house. I haven't been outside in five years... five years! I have never smelled fresh air or seen the moon because of the forest... I want that again. I want my freedom... You have it. You can walk out of this mansion whenever you want because you are changed. But I am stuck forever here because of my human blood. I'm sick of it." He told her truthfully... a tear rolling down his cheek.

Talon chuckled and stood up. "I'll let you get accustomed to the library. I have other things to do now." he told her heading to the doorway.
Kale stopped by a lake and he gladly watched the animals and the calm water.

Kale blinked and chuckled. 'If you want me to I will. But it has only been 15 minutes since I left. You feeling lonely already?'

Kaida bit her bottom lip and frowned. 'Well... no it's ok. I'm sorry...' She told him, sighing. She was lonely, but she wouldn't admit it... never.

Kale sighed softly and turned to head back. He didn't think taking care of a newborn and a newly mated wife would be this difficult. He wondered if he could step out during the night while she slept. As the humans often say in their books, too much of a good thing can be bad for your health. Maybe he would hold off on having a child. He was already taking care of one 'newborn' already, two was a bit too much for the moment.

Kaida frowned. 'Kale? Are you mad? You don't have to come home you know... I'm not asking you to yet.' She said sheepishly and guitily.

Kaida almost yelled, "No!", outlous and in her mind. She wanted to let Kale go and prove she could be alone. She blocked him from his mind and stubbornly willed him to stay away, sitting on the couch and watching CSI. When she was human she used to sit in front of the television for hours on end watching, so it should be the same. It was an episode on dwarfism, which she found interesting. She watched it and almost forgot about Kale; letting him do as he wished.

Evangeline sighed. He didn't fully understand yet, the hardships of being a vampire. How they had to keep hidden most of their lives, never able to make a friend different from their own kind. She focused on the television. Dracula came into Lucy's room.

Lucas looked at her and frowned. "What?" He asked her as she seemed not to answer. "Look I guess I should be happy with my life but I spend 24 hours a day here. At least I have two friends... one if you don't count my sister..." He said.

Evangeline smiled a little bit at his announcement of their friendship. She relaxed and leaned back into the headboard, watching Dracula take a bite out of Lucy.

Lucas smiled in jealousy as Lucy was bitten, flinching as he knew how bad that bite would have hurt if it were real. He rubbed his eyes before tears formed, moving to a laying position and snuggling into his pillow.

"Ok." Echo said not really minding the idea of being alone. she grabbed a braille book and opened it, moving her hands across the page as she read it.
