Honestly I'm at a bit of a loss with puppets since nobody in Crew uses them lol.

I know Hoshigaki Hiru has a puppet clan... why don't you talk with him and come up with a list of problems with the current puppet system... (eg. too confusing, wtf is going on, overpowered in this area for example) and send it to me? And potential solutions too if you can think of em.

Anyways, for the Owl Summoning I will use these owls. Not in order yet...

Barn Owl, Burrowing Owl, Eagle Owl, and Eastern Screech Owl

I was thinking that the Burrowing Owl could be odd and have Earth Release, instead of Wind. I was even thinking of making Hawk Owl one of the summons, and giving it Fire Release, because it is one of the few Owls to come out ALL DAY. (Fire... Sun... etc)

Oh, and, it is possible for same kind animal summons to have different elements... Gamakichi has Fire Release (in the anime) but... I still hold that as proof enough...

Anyways, I think the Eagle Owl should be the youngest and first to be summoned. He will also be very grumpy about being summoned... or something.

Species: Owl (Fukurou)

Basic description of summons: The summoning of the wise owls is a very rare occurrence. If one does summon an owl, they should be honored that any owl, even a chick, should appear to them. You must have humble wisdom for them to appear.

Owls (summoning kind) also live for 800 to 1000 years, the older the owl, you more respect from them you have.

So I've been thinkin'. Since we are NOT an big and active group of people in this guild. And some person's have to create multiple characters to keep up the roleplay of a village.. Why not emerge combine some of them? And let a few just stay closed until we are so massive that we are shown on the guild's front page.

A while ago mist and cloud had a suggestion to emerge after the timeskip and I suggest more villages do so but with other villages of course.
