Aithne's icy eyes immediately looked up to meet his, wide in surprise. There was no way! ... was there? The Elders would have figured it out! But... what if they hadn't cared enough to? After all, she probably was the only one who detested blood so.
"I... I would say that is a miracle... that I don't know if I can believe..."
She managed to choke this out, awestruck by the possibility.

Even though it wasn't anything worth trying to hide, seeing as it stuck out, Ciara's social life was not all that great. She has her taste in people, though is horrible at conversation topics.
Yes, she had seen the pain in his eyes, though wouldn't bother him with it. At least not right now.
She hadn't touched the pizza much, even though she was hungry, this was not her type of food, even if she wasn't a vampire. She didn' let any of it be known though, if asked she would simply respond that she wasn't hungrey, and when she did eat, she was light eater. Some what true.
She had a some what controlled eye contact during the entire time, a good thing someone taught her before having to do a speach.
His speaking of his parents triggered a thought within her own mind of her own parents, and spoke with more apathy than she had ever intended, "My parents died when I was young, I sometimes wish I had known them better." Yes, she was young when they died, younger than she is know. As a vampire, she is old as dirt, and her parents died the week she was turned. They were envaded and slaughtered with the rumor of them owing taxes. Whether that was true or not, Delilah had not known, she was set apart from her parents right after being turned.
Droping the thought, the tried to move onto a more enlightening subject, well, if you could call it that. Relationships. "So how's your social life?" It wasn't meant to be an invasion, just a lead to the next question to help better understand it, "Was that your boyfriend back in the park?" She wasn't calling him gay, or bi, she was only bringing a tad bit of humor into the conversation, hence the laugh she gave while asking the question.

David smiled, and scooted a little closer.
"Well, I figured the coven would have caught on to what I've been doing the past three centuries, but maybe they haven't. I know it's been attempted many many times before, and never successfully been figured out, but I have done it. I have found the way out of this curse. This madness." His smile all but faded as he looked to her once more.
"It wasn't purely through science, alchemy, religion or through artifacts or any such nonsense, I found the way out through hope that maybe everything had something with the result I was looking for. For generations, there have been a few who have sought the "cure" to this curse, and all have tried one or maybe a few different ways, but never have they tried everything. What I am about to tell you has been kept secret for longer than you've probably been alive..."
He paused, reached inside his jacket, removed the pack of cigarettes he had kept there. Tapping the side with two fingers, two mildly crumpled cigarettes came out of the rip at the one end. [Two left...Hmph, not like it matters anyways.] He sighed, pulled one out and placed it in his mouth, he then reached back into his jacket, and withdrew a small box of matches.
"I hope you don't mind" he said, striking the match, and letting the flame burst out, settle and begin to burn before placing it against the cigarette, lighting the tobacco, and filling the air with the elegant patterns of smoke.
He exhaled and took the cigarette into his hand.
"Aithne, I've found the way to die. Peacefully. I've found out how to become...human again. No more monsters, no more blood, no more endless eternities of emptiness and loneliness. No more. I know it's something profound, and even considered stupid by many, but I've found the way out of this, I've found the way to become a living, breathing, human being, beating heart and all. Through a combination of sciences vastly beyond the knowledge of even most immortals, the use of religion, texts and even to far as taking life itself, we've managed to find the way out." He waited her reply, which he'd guess would be either one of shock, hatred or she might even snitch him out.
"Aithne...for almost two millenia I've walked this earth, for almost two millenia I've become an empty man. I cannot feel, I cannot taste, I cannot sleep, I've watched the world change, and I've changed with it, I've seen things you couldn't begin to imagine." He sighed, taking a slight pause "I had a family. A loving wife, two children who I hoped would grow older and take on a good path in life. I left all of that behind. I took on the path of this curse, and I watched my family die over it. I watched my loved ones die of old age whilst I remained a hollow man, without an ageing soul to grow old with and die. This...this curse isn't just mine, it is yours, it is everyone's. We've all felt this pain before. So that is why you know I do this for a good cause. Especially now."
He took another drag off of his smoke, and blew out the fumes, watching them dance about in the air.
"I want to die as much as you do. But think of this offer I'm giving you, you won't have to die in pain, or in sin, you can die peacefully, happily, human. Hell, I'll die with you. I know this is a lot to consider right now, but just keep it in mind."
He placed the cigarette back into his mouth and leaned his head back against the bed.

Kashkin smiled, rubbing the back of his head again.
"Well, I have to admit that I'm straight. Don't know if that's a let down for you, but it's the truth. That guy out there was my friend. He's cool, and a very good friend of mine." He paused, looking at her with, believe it or not, a warm smile. He actually found this girl attractive, which, in Kashkin's case, was... well, amazing.
"I have friends all over the place, and I'm pretty well known at local places. Yes, that includes a bar or two, but that's for fun nights. I do love to dance, too. I don't know if you noticed or not." He relaxed, finally, his muscles untensing. She was alright. He felt safe near her.
"I do have friends, by the way..... But you'll meet them later on. So anyway, tell me about your social life, Miss Ciara." Kashkins said it, a hint of flirting in his voice.

Her normally frosty eyes looked at him, wide in surprise; she almost couldn't believe her ears. She looked at the floor as she thought. A way out? A way to become a human again, to die as a human? It was almost too good to be true. As she thought about it, the panicky and paranoid and overjoyed thoughts running through her head, she realized something, and it made her skin shiver with excitement.
Almost isn't definate.
She knew how the Elders would respond if they ever heard of this; 'mutiny!', 'traitors!', 'heathens!' and all those other filthy names would probably be what they would be called if they found out. This chance, however, was too good to pass up, and it was only once in her immortal lifetime that she knew it would happen. If what David said was true, and he knew how to achieve this, she could regain what every one of the Earth's mortals took advantage of every day; mortality.
Her eyes once again snapped back to look at him, taking in his features as though determining whether he was lying. No matter how much she trusted him, her 500 years on Earth had made her weary of promises like this. This was a miracle, and miracles rarely happened, but she thought about her tormented world and how much better it would be to die as a human and her suspicions faded.
"It would be a miracle if your words were true."
She finally spoke, her words quiet, restrained, yet obviously showing how desperately she needed for his words to be true.

She flashed a slightly toothy smile, not enough to uncover anything unnatural, due to his words. She had not thought him to be gay, if so, she wouldn't have followed him.
She had looked relaxed from the start, though she did switch legs, having her left leg hold her right leg now. Having to think about the question for a moment, she leaned her left elbow into her right theigh, placing her chin on the flat part of her fist, having her body turned so she could do this facing him. Anyone open, or closed minded could easily figure out she was flirting.
"I'm the type of person who will wing towards the optimistic side, in the middle of passive and extrovertive. I'm be straight with you, I can tend to have extrem or minor mood swings. And of course I'm straight."
Chuckling softly, she watched him, allowing the soft smile to remain plastered across her gentle features.

He took a deep sigh, breathing in the fumes he just exhaled into the clouds around him.
"Well my words are truth. After fifteen hundred years or so, you learn that lying achieves nothing but false results. Lying spawns lying. I know what I say is obviously profound and I wouldn't blame you the slightest if you spoke to the elders about this. I can understand what heresy I'm proposing right now."
He drew in a long breath of the cancerous substance, and held it in momentarily, feeling the smoke twirl about his throat.
"I'll take the risk and go ahead and say this. Next week, probably on Thursday or Friday, I'm going to an old warehouse by the docks. There, in Warehouse 13, the place is relatively empty, it's just your average, run of the mill warehouse, right? Not exactly. There's an underground complex, one that was built there before man was man and time was time, at least that's the story. It's an old temple of sorts built eons ago before this land was "colonized" and was managed to remain hidden from the foreigners by being buried, and kept secret. I came across texts speaking and referencing to this place during my lifetime, and I set out searching for it, eventually my search ended here in this dreadful city. I found the temple entrance far beneath the earth, and created the new entrance to the exposed air above. This is where I have been researching, experimenting and trying ever possible way to find the way out. And in this seemingly holy temple, I did find the way. So if you want, hopefully before next week's end, you'll come and pay us a visit. Oh, you'll be needing one of these..."
David wrestled an old card from his back pocket and produced it for her to see and take.
"They'll kill you without it, so make sure you've got it handy when you come by."
He smirked, holding it closer to her.

Kashkin smiled, looking into her eyes. He looked at her, reaching down and fixing the sock on his right foot. Ciara was eye candy, and he couldn't help but glance a bit.
'Damnit, Kev. Get a hold of yourself. You're acting very stupid, and if you don't start blowing out the clouds in your head, you'll be doing tons of pushups later on!'
Kashkin thought this, but didn't even flinch as he did so. He was indeed losing himself to this strange sensation that he hadn't felt in quite a long time. What was it?
Well, whatever it was, it was a good feeling.
"My my. Right in the middle, hmm? Nice to know." He smiled a toothy smile himself, looking deeply into her eyes. She was flirting, and so was he.
"So tell me. What do you do for fun? And no, I don't mean just hanging out with friends. There's a city out there." Kashkin pointed to the window which was facing other buildings and a street below. The sounds of music were still playing, yet the horns and sounds from the city could still be heard.
"You can't tell me you just go to college the whole time. Club hopping? Do you own a bar? Driving? Pool? Tournaments of some sort?"
Kashkin was curious as to what she did. He himself did a lot, but was always looking for new things to do. Besides, if Ciara became a good friend, he would go places with her. Heck, Simon could come too! A nice addition to the group, too....
(((Oh yea. Woohoo! Kashkin's a rank D hunter now! ^_^ Be back in a little bit. Oh say, 30-35 minutes)))

Aithne's looked cloudy as she allowed his words to sink in, every syllabel feeling like a teasing preview of paradise. Her miracle had finally come! She looked over at David again, looking into his eyes for a moment before looking down at his hand which held the card, moving her hand weakly up to take it and slip it in her pocket, obviously pushing her strength, or lack thereof.
"I will come, and I will not tell the Elders anything. I'll be damned if I allow them to take this chance from me! Who else will be there? All other vampires?"
She asked him questions to rest her mind. The more she knew, the calmer she could become. One thing still remaining tugging at the back of her mind that she dared not to ask him; why had he offered to share this gift with her? She wouldn't ask in fear of him refusing her it.
Her eyes, instead moved to the cigarette in his hand as she awaited an answer, finding the trails of smoke entrancing and beautiful.

"Hmm.. What do I do for fun?" Purposly she repeated the question. She had done many things over the years, though most recently she had taken up shooting pool and baskets.
"Depends on the mood I suppose. Pool, basketball, clubs, bars, movies, I'm not sure what Americans do for fun though I am sure it's basically the same."
In truth, it was, at least for what she had seen. Teens were all alike.
"My sister and I own a few bars across seas, and we both share our parents estates. Inherited of course."
As humans, both Delilah and her sister, Aibhilin, grew up with seperate parents, and both sets of parents were considered what in the medieval times would be called nobels. This, along with her name, were something he did not need to know, and would make sure he wouldn't find out after having a small chat with her sister.
This brought her to the thought of where her sister was, yes, she could sence her, but she seemed off, possibly headed towards the hotel or already there.
Smiling towards him still, she spoke in some what of a different voice, it wasn't that that noticable, though the tone, accent, and clearity of it had changed. "What kind of things do you do for your kicks?" She laughed softly once more.

David nodded as she took the card, and his smile returned as she asked her question.
"So far. Two others. A man who goes by the name of Artonious Blackheart and an old friend of mine who feels the need to guide me on this 'new journey' of sorts. They are trustworthy folk, no worries. For now though, you must drink, I know you do not want to, but I fear you'll not make it to tomorrow at this rate. So come now, drink up."
He slid the glass over to her once more.

Aithne's upper lip twitch slightly, teasing a scowl, looking at the cursed liquid that she had fed off of for so long. No matter how much she despised it though, David was right; she would probably die soon if she did not drink it now.
'Only once more... this is the last time I will ever have to drink blood.'
She thought to herself before slowly moving her hand over to the glass and picking it up shakily, having to use both hand so it didn't fall or spill everywhere, and drinking from it slowly.
