She had watched him dance around, as well as sow up his sweatshirt, though she was into her game on her phone. It didn't take much to amuse her at times like these. She did how ever hear what he said, and muttered a "sure" just as he rushed into the kitchen.

So she did. She chose to close his door for him, sort of an OCD for her.. Doors must be closed, she never slept in a room with an open door, it bugged her.

Smiling slightly from amusement, Delilah found herself a seat and continued her game until he returned back into the living area.

Brick attack was steady on her phone, the ball having only fell past once, and she was proudly on level 10.

((Ho'kay, so I suck at games, though level 10 on that game is GOOD. xP))

Kashkin smiled, bringing over pizza and a few other things he whipped up. Everyone loved snacks and sugary stuff. He also brought over Vodka. Yes, it was vodka straight, for the heavier drinkers.

"So, what brings you to my humble abode, miss Ciara?"

Kashkin looked at her phone and smiled. He remembered Brick Attack. It was a fun game. However, after beating it in two days, he gave it up and didn't need it anymore.

Two questions still buzzed in his head. For starters, how did she find his house? Secondly, how did she know which appartment was his?.....

.... Oh well. Questions for later on.

"I beat that game a while ago. It's fun, isn't it?" Kashkin smiled, holding out a slice of pizza. He was still definetally embaressed about her seeing him, yet he was going to move on. Well, hopefully he would get over it soon.

Chuckling softly, she closed her phone to place it back in her pocket. Crossing her left leg over her right, she sat straight, hands rested on her left theigh.

"You know, I've not met many people who openly welcome people in their room by leaving the door open, though yes, the game is rather fun."

She did this on purpose, the sudden switch of subjects, though if her identaty was truely known to him, her play on words would stick out like a sore thumb, her reason for openly saying it to him. ((He doesn't know her race.))

She accepted the pizza, though placed it on a napkin. Not knowing why, or that she had done it until she caught her eyes on the oppisite side of the room, though she had glanced back towards the door she closed, then across the room as though studing it. Keeping herself fully composed, she turned her head to allow her to gaze in his general direction, speaking with a slight smile.

"Not to say I'm desprate or anything, though you did happen to catch my eye, which is why I figured I'd ask why you ran off so quickly."

She spoke as though she were completely oblivious of his wounds. If around another vampire and she said something which clued that at all, she knew she would be viewed as near ignorant, or something close to it.

David turned to Aithne, ran a hand through his hair, and put on a smile. Hopefully she didn't notice the state he was in.

"No sweat! You looked like you needed some." he spoke lightly, and chuckled silently, heading to the door.

"I'll be right back and grab you one of my backup packs, you look like you could use one right about now." He smiled again, and stepped outside the room, closing the door behind him.

He sighed, leaning against the door. [What was that...] he questioned himself, facing the window at the end of the hallway.
Without further adieu, David made his way downstairs, into the kitchen, and snagged a couple packs from the fridge.

"Hungry I see. You should try real food for once." came Sarah's voice.

"It is tasteless and would probably make me sick if I ate your 'real food' rather than enjoy this nice pack of fresh human blood." he snickered, trying to get on her nerves or at least gross her out, which apparently worked when he noticed her exaggerating gagging while he turned to head back up.

Kashkin

Kashkin smiled, laughing a bit himself. He had indeed run off in quite a hurry, and it wasn't exactly polite to leave a girl standing there. But one question at a time.

"Eh-heh.... Yea, I am sorry for leaving you there alone. I was under a bit of influence to leave, so to speak. Sorry about that." He paused looking at the door, then back at Ciara. "Anyway, about the door, well, I'm not afraid of robbers. You could almost say that this is probably one of the safest places around this part of the neighborhood!"

Kashkin was still smiling, having thankfully covered the shotgun and ammo shells on the table with cloth before finishing the soeing job on his sweatshirt.

Back to conversation though.

"Anyway, again I apologize for leaving earlier on. However, as fate would have it, it's much easier to talk to a person when there aren't hundreds of people around and music pounding in your ears." He took a slice of pizza and started eating, putting on a band which absolutely no one would have heard of (it was a friends band). It was music, a bit metal-ish, but good sounding none the less. He kept the volume low to further hear Ciara.

"So anyway, tell me about yourself. I've only met you today, yet you seem different than everyone else. In a good way of course!"

Kashkin really only did mean it like that. A simple compliment. But hey, it was conversation. Not to mention it was OBVIOUS he was horrible at flirting. Oh well, at least he tries.

(((Kashkin has NO idea that you are a vampire. =P Funny stuff. An elder to boot! Sheesh. What a n00b. He should have learned how to identify a vampire after defeating quite a few. =P )))

The moment David had closed the door behind him she fell over, her back not able to keep itself straight.

"For the love of the gods!"

She cursed angrily, an odd occurrence for her, as she used every ounce of strength she had to try and get back up on the bed... to no avail, eventually just giving up and sitting on the floor, the bed supporting her back. The more she thought about it, the angrier she got.

Blood. Her entire life, her very existence relied on the pain of others. Even after 500 years, she still could not accept that the thing keeping her alive was so vile. It drove her mad. This curse was bound to kill her eventually, and by that, she didn't mean her body. She knew she needed the blood, and that if she didn't take it she would, without a doubt, die; nonetheless, she considered refusing it when David offered it. She had nothing more to live for, except that blood. No one would care if she had died in that alley, alone, just rotting away.

She wondered what had bothered David so much, but her mind was too confused as it was to worry too much, keeping it in the back of her conciousness.

She figured she would let him know some of the basics, whether they were true or not was for him to find out, if he could. Where to start.. she thought to herself.

"Well, about me.. Hmm.. It really depends on what you want to know." She paused long enough to off a shrug and take a small bite of, chew, and swallow the pizza she was given."Umm.. Believe it or not, I actually grew up in Greece, quiet an amazing place I must say. I've moved around a lot though. I came here from Italy. So far she wasn't lying, even though it wasn't the full story."Due to the jet lag an all, I've felt more alive at night, and I don't really feel like forcing myself into the day time life, to many people then."Chuckling at the statement, she had just made it clear that she wasn't that much of a people person."Graveyard shift sounds lovely, expecially with schooling, night school seems to be easier to handle, ya' know."

She wasn't sure if it had been him that she told she was from the South, though even if she did, she hoped, or at least figured he wouldn't remember, being as so much was going on.

Pushing that aside, she pushed the spot light onto him. Her history wasn't so much as important as her present, though of course she wasn't ready to talk about her present any more than she had.

"So, tell me about yourself."

Stepping back into the room and closing the door behind him, David made for the bed, but noticed she was no longer in it. He then looked around the room, and saw her on the floor beside the bed.
Walking over and kneeling down beside her, he sat down on the floor.

"Comfy?" he said jokingly, smiling as he spoke.
"Here, take it slow, so you don't end up losing it all over the floor." he chuckled, holding out one of the packs inside a glass.

Aithne looked at David only for a moment before looking to the side.

"I appreciate your help and your generosity... I really do. Please don't take this badly... but I can't drink that blood."

She knew he would probably think her insane, or childishly foolish, for being like this, her thoughts even sounding to her like thoughts of a madman, but she couldn't take it anymore. It was too much. Her eyes remained on the floor just behind and to the side of David.

He looked to her, somewhat dumbfounded, again.

"What do you mean you can't drink this? You'll die without it. Now come on, my generosity is nothing, drink up! I've got plenty!" He held the glass closer, trying to persuade her to take it.

"It's not poisoned, I promise!" he chuckled as he spoke.

Her subconcious actually found it somewhat amusing that she could so easily make the poor vampire so dumbfounded, but her concious didn't care. She shook her head slightly, closing her eyes to keep herself from giving in.

"I know it's not poisoned... it's nothing like that..."

She feared what would happen when he found out what it really was. Would he laugh? Would he scoff at her? She felt stupid, but her resolve came from her pain.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:03 pm

Feeling rather curious now, he asked straight out

"Then what is it? Why don't you want to feed?"

He couldn't grasp any reason as to why someone would not want to feed to sustain whatever 'life' they had left.
[Could it be she wants to die?]
The thought came to him without warning, and his eyes widened only for a moment.

"Are you saying you don't want this blood because you'd rather die?"

She continued to avoid meeting his eyes, but nodded, confirming his question. She waited for the dreaded reaction to her answer, the laughing, the criticizing, the embaressment that she wasn't strong enough to be a vampire. There were hundreds of vampires in the city's Coven alone, what harm could one less be? No one would even notice.

She wrung her hands in her lap, the only motion she could really still do, her nervousness overwhelming her fatigue. The two things she was determined not to look at being the blood and David's eyes.

Seeing her nod, David felt somewhat relief and yet worried at the same time.

"Hmm, well then..." he said, concentrating more on the thought running back and forth in his mind than he was on talking right now.
It was going to be next week that he'd end it, and if he was going to end this eternal suffering, he may as well have company, right?
He trusted her so hopefully she would be okay with what he was going to say next.

"Aithne. What if I told you that you'd no longer have to drink blood to survive? What if I told you that you could eat food, enjoy drinks, tastes, and feel more alive than you have since your rebirth?" he smiled, taking the glass and setting it on the other side of him, so Aithne wouldn't have to look at the dreaded blood any longer.

Kashkin

PostPosted: Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:23 pm

Kashkin nodded, paying close attention. He continued to eat pizza without losing eye contact for almost eh entire time. It was, to say the least, interesting. He thought about it for a minute, then descided to tell her a brief truth. Only half the truth. To tell a human that he was a vampire hunter would simply seem... rediculous.

"Well, I gotta say, I've led a pretty uneventful life. I grew up with my parents in the city. They owned a gun shop, and still do to this day. Needless to say, I learned from some of the best."
He thought some more. "I grew up normally, lived life to the fullest, got a job at a pizza store, and deliver pizzas at the moment. I'm also enrolled at a private college."

Kashkin smiled, leaving out a few big things, including that his real name was Kevin. No one would know besides his parents and his....

His sister......

........

Kashkin had a strange look in his eye, pain combined with anger, for the briefest moment. If picked up on, it was easy to tell that he was thinking back on a painful memory. That is, if it was even noticeable.

He laughed though, quickly recovering from it.

"Well, the night life suits me as well! I often go to the library to read up on subjects."

Actually, he killed 4 vampires in a local library. It was reported as a murder, and no human knew who did it.

Vampires did though. Word spread fairly quickly about it, and soon enough, Kashkin sent two more packing their bags on a one way trip to hell.

He was gaining popularity. Some knew his name, or heard it from somewhere. However, he wasn't famous like Will or the others....

Yet.

(((Your turn! If you read Kashkin's Bio, which is actually Kevin Vanwingerden, his sister was turned into a vampire right in front of him. From there, she tried turning him too, but he fought her off. She's still alive today, somewhere.....)))
