Almost uneasy at his smile, she slipped into new flannel pants, and curled up at her side of the bed. Very cautious of his space, she hugged into her pillow and smiled. "Goodnight..."

Tomo laid down beside her, "Sweet dreams." he whispered, scooting a little closer than he had last night. He kissed her forehead and watched her fall asleep.

Guan stepped inside the Mufffin and glanced around the common room before peaking into the kitchen. Not seeing Cerri in either place, he reasoned that she must be upstairs and headed up quietly, determined to sneak up on the woman. At the top of the stairs he made his way down the hall and paused first at the door to Cerri's old room, the closest room to the stairs where she might be found. Gently he pressed his ear to the door to listen for a sign that she was in there.

He would indeed hear her through the wood, talking softly to someone else in the room. Most of her words were indistinguishable, but 'Arlen' and 'find' could be made out, and then the voice of Lily came through as well.

Guan almost opened the door, but then he thought better of it and headed down the hall to the room Lily and Arlen had shared. From there he made his way out of the window and skillfully climbed his way over to peak in the window to Cerri's room.

Cerri was currently looking to the door, frowning; she thought she'd heard something. Then she shrugged and smiled at Lily, reaching out to pet one of her ears. The two women were curled up on her bed, books surrounding them, one in each of their laps.

Guan smiled and gently knocked on the window before quickly ducking just out of sight from it.

Cerri's eye narrowed as she looked to the window, frowning deeply. "You keep looking." she murmured to Lily, then set her own book aside and climbed out of bed, heading to the window. Opening it, she poked her head outside, peering around. "Hello?"

Guan found a secure foot hold above the window and let himself swing down so he was face to face with Cerri, though upside down. "Good evening Love," he said to Cerri, giving her a smile filled with mischief and affection. "The stars are quite lovely tonight."

Cerri let out a gasp, then a chuckle as she shook her head. "You're like a monkey." she teased quietly, single eye showing a tenderness that usually wasn't there, then leaned forward a bit more to give him a soft kiss. "And I'm sure they're absolutely beautiful... wish I could come and... hang with you."

"Well if you won't come out," Guan said, giving Cerri a kiss in return. "May I come in?" He would never admit it, but if he kept hanging upside down like this the blood shifting to his brain would upset his balance.

"You know you're always welcome in my room... even if you have been sneaking about." Cerri answered, quirking a brow as she stepped back from the window and back to the bed, sharing a smile with Lily. "We might have a way to locate Arlen, by the way."

While Cerri did an about face and walked to Guan, wrapping her arms around his waist, Lily cleared her throat. "W-well, it's kind of like scrying." she began quietly. "I can use this;" she fingered the fire Arlen had given her, then continued. "It'll show us on a map where he is, but... we can also weave into the spell to take us to him. We won't be dropped right where he is, but we'll be taken to a safe location within fifty miles of him."
