That's why I hate living in California. cry
We get earthquakes, and there was that evil tsunami warning. crying
*would like to live in Arizona*
From all I know...there's thunderstorms like crazy there. But I really don't like California. crying

Thats terrible! As somebody who lives near overflowing creeks, I can tell you not to drive through large puddles of standing water.
I know you woudn't think that creeks could flood, but they do.
Rain... whee

The San Andres faultline is facinating smile Earthquakes in general are really cool from a scientific prespective. I don't like the whole things-dying part, but that's unavoidable. Plate tectonics is sexy.

Rain... whee The creek that I lived next to in New york used to flood constantly. (but the creek was in a hole that was 4 feet deep)

Kochiyo Ishinomori: Shh~ Don't spoil any surprises. You'll make VO sad.
Vin: ;0; Oh my gosh! I can't imagine they'd deliberately design it to do that...perhaps just a hideous oversight? @_@
I love living in California. I'll take earthquakes over tornados and storms any day. At least after the quake is over I still know where my house is, and it's not like the big ones hit every single year.

The picture is not scary or violent in any way, if that's what your thinking.
I love living in Buffalo, with it's blizzards. Blizzards can kill, but I'm willing to take the risk and accept it.

Taylor_Highwind: The sun is supposed to burn out someday as well. I'll hedge my bets on earthquake vs. tornados/hurricanes/floods and make the best of my present situation. I have to live somewhere, and California's good enough for me.
