"Hey man!" Shinzu said with a wide smile, and a wave of his own back at the medic-nin. Dropping down from the the tree the taijutsu specialist landed in front of his long time friend, and former teammate, holding his hand out to shake. "How ya been man? It's been a while since the exams." He said with a slight laugh. Though he may have been directionless when it came to his life, he certainly hadn't lost any of his usual joy. "Man, the exam was what, over a year ago now?" He said with another laugh as he scratched the back of his head.

It certainly didn't seem like a year has passed but with all the stuff he's been doing it wasn't improbable. "Wow... it HAS been a year Shinzu. That's pretty bad." The boy let out a nervous chuckle as he shook Shinzu's hand.

Shinzu laughed and gave Batsu's shoulder a playful smack after they shook hands. "Ha! I'd say you've even gotten a bit stronger, based on your grip, guess working in that hospital hasn't been all bad for ya." He said with a large grin. "Well anyway, ready for that spar we've always talked about doing?" He asked, as he brought his hands together and popped his knuckles.

Once he did he brought it to in front of him and he looked around then back to Shinzu. "I was never the type to get stronger like that and even if I did it's no match for you."((Initiation check: 1d20 [1] + Dex mod [15] = 16))

"Well, you'd have to try a bit to get as strong as me." Shinzu said with a grin as he fell back into his classic strong fist stance. "Ready... Set.. Go!" Shinzu said with a large smile as the spar commenced. Somehow Shinzu managed to act faster than Batsu, and quickly closed what little distance there was between them. He let loose with two strong punches and swift kick with his right leg.
Initiative: Roll (5) + Dex ( cool = x (On the off chance I get a 1 as well haha)
Melee 1: Roll (11) + MAB (25) = 36 Miss!
Melee 2: Roll (9) + MAB (20) = 29 Miss!

He never had to try his ninjutsu out but today was a good day to try as any. The male made a few handsigns as quickly as possible and made a smart remark. "Don't get to close... Raiton: JIBASHI!" Batsu then aimed his palms at Shinzu and bolt of electricity flew out towards the other. ((Reflex check: 12 + Chk mod [9] + 2 per 10 Ninjutsu [4] = 25))

Shinzu recognized Batsu's hand signs just in time to move out of the way. "Alright, we're going to play that way then." Shinzu said as he steadied himself. "Gate of Opening, OPEN!" He yelled as he forced open the first of the eight celestial gates. The pain was immense, but Shinzu barely seemed to show it, his body having grown hardened to the pain of the technique. With a yell he ran at Batsu and jumped into a flying kick.

D: 45 | F: 10 | R: 23 |W: 21"Batsu" took the hit and reeled back a bit from the sheer force, but before he hit the ground, his body was consumed in smoke and a log actually hit the ground. Meanwhile, Batsu, the real Batsu, took shade in a bush and loaded an arrow into his bow. The male muttered in his head, " Yes Shinzu. I do want to play that way." Batsu then drew back and shot a single arrow towards Shinzu. ((Arrow: 1d20 [14] + RAB [36] + Sneak Attack [5] = 55 vs. 26 [HIT]))

Shinzu let out howl of pain as the arrow caught his shoulder, in the same moment he went ahead and opened up the second gate, the gate of healing, ironically. Moving swiftly Shinzu ran towards the tree Batsu had hidden himself in. He could've tried to go into hiding himself, but Batsu had sharper eyes, as well the gates putting a time limit on how long he could stay in the fight. Running towards the tree his speed allowed him to all but run up it, and cocking a punch, he threw it at Batsu as soon as he was in range.

However, it wasn't fast enough to catch Batsu and he quickly jumped out the way. He then reached and grabbed for more arrows and loaded them all at the same time to shoot. He then pulled the string back and let them fly. ((Arrow 1: 1d20 [18] + RAB [36] = 54 vs 34 [HIT] Arrow 2: 1d20 [10] +RAB [31] = 41 vs 34 [HIT] Arrow 3: 1d20 [17] + RAB [26] = 43 vs 34 [HIT] Arrow 4: 1d20 [20] = 20 [CRITICAL HIT]
