Kade turned back around, and shot at Kumi with a demon seizure attack right back at her.
Keeton made the groun beneath Kade unstable by throwing orbs at it, causing Kade to fall. *Go ahead Hatari* he wrote.
Hatari ran up, and came to attack him from the other side.

Hatari sliced Kade's back with the tip of her spear. "HA! Got him." she said. "great shot! Thanks, you too!"
Kade turned around and went to attack Hatari.
Hatari ducked at the last second. "GAH!" she said in shock.
Keeton came closer to see what he could do to help.
((I like that attack name. Don't be so hard on yourself. Saw blade's a crappy attack name! xd ))

Keeton thought for a moment.
And explosion burst through the side wall of the arena, sending parts of the wall flying in all directions. Smoke covered the entire hill it sat upon, and the explosion had completely demolished what used to be the arena.
Hatari watched it in awe. "What was that?!" she asked.
Kade walked towards the arena. His sword formed back to normal, and he over looked the pile of rubble before him. The smoke still hung thick in the air.

Kumi's face didn't change at the explosion, "I don't know.." she said looking around.

Kade first eyed the explosion, looking for any signs of life. He then closed his eyes. "I'm done here." he mumbled to himself, and he ran off.
A shadow of a figure stepped through the smoke. It was hard to make out.
Hatari prepared her spear as the person stepped forward closer.

Kumi tried to sniff out the figure but, it was too smokey.

Akuji appeared from the smoke. He hobbled towards them. He was covered in blood, and held his head low. His fist clenched.
Hatari gasped as she saw him coming from the destroyed arena. "Akuji! It's you!" she cried out.
Keeton walked over to the others.
Akuji didn't look up at them. His eyes were covered by his hair hanging low over his face. he slowly walked up to them.

Kumi smiled. "AKUJI!" She yelled and walked over to him.

Akuji still did not look up. He lifted his hand to reveal Kumi's necklace within it. His other hand shook, and he breathed heavily.
Keeton stopped walking. He could tell something was horribly wrong.
Hatari eyed him with confusion. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"A-A-Akuji..?" Kumi was scared. Her eyes widened.

Hatari looked at him with surprise. "What's...wrong?" she asked again
Akuji lifted his other hand. He opened it. In his hand he held a ruby red jewel...it was split in half down the middle. He finally looked up with pain in his eyes.

"What's going on?.. Sedric had my neck- His he- did you-?" Kumi looked incredably sad.

Akuji looked up at her. He was filled with sadness. "I'm...sorry." he said sadly.
Keeton gasped. He knew what had happened.
Akuji felt like he was about to burst. "He did it...to protect you...to protect everyone...he took down the creators...then he..." he stopped. The jewel's colour began to fade. "Kumi...I'm so, sorry!" he said.
